First time here today and will be my last. What a rip off. I walked in and asked for a gel polish change. I had no polish on when I came in. When I was done she charged me $30. I should have said something then but I just left knowing they lost my business forever. When she was done polishing my nails she lotioned my hands so she did a manicure which I never asked for. They do what THEY want and charge you for it not what you ask for. Not ever going here I wasn't sure what's included in a polish change but that's certainly not what I asked for. Read Less

Came in to get a full set of acrylic nails something very simple.... I was informed no one was there to do my nails and I was stared at in awkward silince and was told I should have made an appointment, like this was my fault and I was inconveniencing them. Terrible honestly. Just moved to the area and trying to find a good salon. After reading a response from the owner I find it bizzare that no one was available for acrylics. Very simple less then gel, the case must have been they had no nail technicians there when they were open for business and that's a shame. I moved to Fredericksburg four months ago and since then have been looking for a salon to replace my go to back home in Seattle. I finally found it last night! I got a great pedicure (highly recommend callus removal) and I finally got a fill that doesn't look terrible. My nails look fabulous. I do not plan to go anywhere else. Read Less

I've been here a few times. This time around I had Ann for both my mani/pedi. If you want a good pedicure, ask for her. She is VERY PATIENT, knowledged, kind, funny, and her English is outstanding compared to what I normally get when going to the average nail salon, and you will not feel rushed with her at all. The basic pedicure is $25, but I paid an extra $15 for a 15 minute extended foot massage. I really like that option being there. I mainly came in for relaxing, and that hit the spot. Pedicure gets 10 out of 10 stars. Toe polish application was decent but could have been a little cleaner.After the pedicure, I was expecting the same outstanding results for my gel manicure, which costs $30. I had a hard time deciding what colors I wanted, and ann was extremely patient with me. I have to give her mad props for her time with me, as nothing was rushed. But the actual application of the gel polish was a bit uneven and not quite the professional look I was hoping to get from a salon. I felt bad and told her I didn't like how they looked when all the layers were completed. Another lady came over and did her best to add more layers to try and even everything out. Looking at them now, they look acceptable, but it looks more like a home gel job than a salon gel job. I think if more care was put into the manicure part before the polish application, my nails would have came out a lot cleaner. I don't remember her doing any kind of cuticle clean up around my nails and that would have helped tremendously.Overall pros: Low cost, extended foot massages, clean building, friendly patient staff.Cons: Called ahead and was told 15 min wait, I waited 30 min upon arrival plus an extra 20 min in the pedicure chair before beginning. Outstanding! The best pedicure from the nicest person in the world! I discovered Anh when I was working in Charlottesville and then she disappeared. Hooray, I  found out this medical nail tech with exceptional knowledge and experience from working in a Podiatrists office for years is in Fredericksburg!. Outstanding! Points for being clean and being patient with my 4 year old niece. Otherwise, this wasn't my favorite mani/pedi. The guy used a brush similar to a dish scrubber across the tops of my feet which hurt. He also did a pretty bad job on my cuticles even though I asked him nicely to clean it up a little more. There was no music and the tv played soccer on silent, so I was pretty bored the whole time.
