Julie has been amazing from the first day I walked in crying with half an eyebrow (fixed it with no charge). Mac and Amber cut and colored my hair for years. I love this salon! I’ve been here twice and I’ve been impressed both times! I’ve struggled to find stylists that know how to cut my thick, frizzy hair my entire life. Mack has been great both times I’ve been here and has given me a great flattering cut each time! The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful experience getting my gel polish and manicure and loved the end result. I am however disappointed that my guaranteed 2 week polish had the first chip a couple days ago and first whole piece of polish began to peel off today. What an amazing place! Michelle was one of my best finds in Farmville when I moved here 4 years ago. An event came up and I needed an appointment quick. A friend of mine had an appointment with Michelle and suggested that I take her place (Thank you Diane). Michelle cut my very long hair just the way I requested and has since given me amazing colors, created fancy updo's for local gala's and events. She is my go to girl, but I can honestly say that everyone there is very professional and I've never seen a bad color or cut walk out the door. I came to A Great Escape in September 2016 to set me up for a wedding...and let me tell you..these stylists and workers are absolute experts in their fields.  They know exactly what they're doing and they give you the absolute best atmosphere for all your treatments--I had a facial, conditioning treatment, and mani pedi, and it was the most relaxing experience ever.  I highly recommend this Spalon for all of your needs.  PS My hair looked FABULOUS for the wedding I was in! I have been to salons in many different cities, but this has to be the worst. They are trying to pretend that they know what they are doing, but they DO NOT.All I wanted was a simple cut, and the guy cutting my hair not only did not know how to do it, but he left a long fringe of hair underneath that I had to have my husband cut off.The only thing the guy did do was to try to "upsell" me on an unnecessary straightening treatment for about $600.What a joke this place is.
