This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I haven’t been here in years, but today I was reminded why. Well, the lady was being kind, at first. She let me soak my nails for about ten minutes or so. Which made my nails smell horrible! I then had a guy start working on my nails. He must not have known much English because when I tried talking to him, he didn’t respond accordingly, which was perfectly fine. He filed the beds of my nails and cut into my pinky. That hurt! (Hopefully I don’t develop a fungal infection.)Then I was trying to tell the lady that my nails where growing crooked under my SNS and was asking if they could fix them. She then proceeded to tell the guy working on my nails that I “can’t be pleased” and that I “need to go somewhere else?” 😂 Thanks Happy Nails for the free SNS removal. Otherwise you all are a sorry excuse for a nail salon and should be shut down by the health department. Read Less

i would not recommend this salon. The woman seems to know what she's doing but the older man that works there is very rude and hateful. He seemed angry because I didn't want to have the SNS put on and wanted to charge me $ 50.00 to put on a set of french acrylic. I'm always on the look out for a good close by nail salon and Happy Nails did not disappoint ! This place made me feel so relaxed. Here is my advice, make a call first. This is the first time I've come to Happy Nails today !I'm very happy with them. I came here without an appointment but they set me a wait but not for long. They gave me a great pedicure with their newest products from famous brands. You can think they were rushing but if you looked carefully, they did it quickly and meticulous. Happy Nails is awesome that I went to with a friend when I was in Fairlawn for a weekend. I've been coming Happy Nails for over a year every two weeks and LOVE the work I get done by the lady staff. While visiting my friends in Fairlawn, I needed to get my nails filled. I found Happy Nails on Yelp, and I am so glad I did! Happy Nails is amazing. It is so clean, friendly and very professional. They did an amazing job on my pedicure and fill in set for my hands. It was so relaxing! They even offer complementary drinks and shoulder neck massage. Everyone there is super friendly and they take the time do your nails really well. I know I'll get a perfect service after all. I decided to take my daughter in today with me because I needed a fill-in after having my nails done here a few weeks ago as a gift. I thought my daughter would enjoy some time out and getting her nails painted too. I was happy they were open on a holiday even though only one guy was working. He was working on a lady's nails when we went in and when he asked I told him I needed a fill in and my daughter wanted to have her nails done. At first, he told us to come back the next day. I told him we were going on vacation and at that point I should have left but he told us to go ahead and pick out colors and asked us to wait. When he took my daughter back, he was very friendly and talkative, but halfway through doing her nails a lady came in asking for a pedicure. He told her sure and asked if she could wait a few minutes. I then asked if he was going to do my fill-in and he said no. I told him I was very disappointed because we had waited patiently. While my daughter's nails were drying another lady came in asking for a pedicure and he took her business as well. My daughter asked why I was so upset and I told her in front of the other customer that he refused my business but was willing to take theirs and that it wasn't right so we would not be coming back. I've been here before and got a gel nail  many times before, and my experience was always pleasant. This time I got a deluxe pedicure ($45) without polish. I just prefer the natural look and it is easier to maintain. I got a choice of type of product I could use. I chose tangerine over olive formula. The deluxe includes the regular trimmings as well as a foot and leg scrub, a foot and leg deep penetrating clay moisturizer massage, a hot towel wrap, followed by a lotion massage. I really don't like to write negative reviews but this place is a health hazard. Kevin does nice work and if he moved salons I would go to him again but, I let the woman who I believe is the owner (she has tattooed eyebrows and really noticeable plastic surgery) work on me and I got a fungus in my nail. I've never had one before and after consulting a dermatologist it was definitely from unsanitary nail equipment. I went back and the woman laughed and said sorry I couldn't please you. A friend of mine who used to go their old location in Roanoke and had the same problem with them. She has helped me try to file a health report. I know a lot of elderly people go there and I hope in the future this doesn't happen to anyone else. Read Less

No, no, no, no ... did i mention no?HORRIBLE. Pricing is great and all but holy crap. My acrillics lasted 4 hours before they snapped in half. My friends nail polish chipped within the first hour.I also received an upper lip wax and they burned and ripped my skin off. The guy just said "just put ice on it when you get home".. HA, ok!Horrible, not clean and definitely not worth a penny.Go to Uptown nails, they are friendlier and definitely better.I don't mean to be modest, but this place is just the worst nail salon i've ever experienced. I've gotten a couple pedicures here. The first time the guy told my friend that he was going to grab her a different nail polish that would last longer, used the gel stuff and charged her an extra $10 for it. I went back a second time thinking maybe that was just a miscommunication and the guy doing my pedicure ripped a hang nail out and it was bleeding so his reaction was to super glue it shut! There was blood all over the nail glue bottle so I hope he threw it away but he didn't while I was there! Read Less

NEVER GO HERE. They're wax is so hot I've left with bumps around my eyebrows. They abuse your nails if you get acrylics. I try to think these are rare incidents and give them another chance, but I just left to realize that the woman cut off HALF OF MY EYELASHES when I thought she was trimming my fast growing eyebrow hairs.
