I scheduled a massage with JB. He called out the day of my massage. They called me a few hours before to ask me to reschedule, or if I would see Kandy for a massage. I needed one really bad so I took a chance. It was for 90 min. She wouldnt stop talking. She was sucking on candy, and burped during my massage. ZiZi is a true pro at cutting curly hair (I have a 2b/2c combo pattern). She's extremely careful and methodical as to not make any major mistakes, and the two times I've gone to her have always ended with a great cut. In fact, I'd gone to her after attempting to grow out not one, but two bad haircuts. Terrible. They ruined my hair. The compensation was not enough for what they did to me. Stylist cut a chunk of hair on top of my head too short. An inch long on top of head sticking out to be exact. Now I have to wait for it to grow out. Bad salon experience. Not worth it. Read Less

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Salon Nordine. I am pretty particular about my hair, and chose a stylist to go to. It took forever (my hair typically does) and I felt rushed. When I called to book my appointment I specifically told them that I had long, curly hair and that it was my first time at the salon. The stylist I went to didn't really care to get to know me, she was just worried about getting through the appointment. The stylist I went to was more concerned about the client that was after me than what she was doing on my hair. She didn't even style me, just kind-of blow-dried me and that was it. I paid for a cut, color, and a style. The color turned out fine, but my cut is very choppy and I'm not impressed. I was hopeful with this salon, but I won't be back for the price I paid and service I received. I'll find a different salon to be "my salon" in the NOVA area. Read Less

I had massage here long time ago, about a year. The lady who did that was great!!!!! I love it! My only prob was the receptionist. He was yelling at another employee in the lounge because she was on the phone. Understandable, but not when I was having a massage. This year I came back for a hair cut. I did state I wanted my hair to be style curled, possible of perm. I cam in sat down. It was pleasant at first. Marina? I'm not sure how to spell her name. Strongly advised for s...traight hair cut instead of curling. SO agreement was She cut the hair to see if I like it first. While cutting I asked about Ketarin and hair treatment. I'm lazy to told her I used treseme which is not high end for her but its ok. just don't say to a customer: ' I don't know if you can afford it but we have this for $xx that you can use....'. I didn't say anything. I still felt strongly that I wanted to curl my hair with curler to see how it turns out. That's when second comment came out "It's really old fashion". She did great on one side but the other side she was pulling my hair really hard and I could tell she didn't want to do it. Once done, I asked if she could comb and relax the curl a bit to give it a shape. That's when she could not hold it back " Honey, my next customer comes in 15'. I did your hair 3 times. What do you want? straight or curl?'. I told her if she wasn't comfortable with me let me know now. I felt like I'm not welcome there. What was I supposed to say when I make appointment: I need more than 30'? I'm supposed to have my hair cut and happy with it and pay n walk away. just like that. I understand its intimidating that an Asian straight hair lady came in and wanted curly hair. I gave her $40 tip for my $80 hair cut to compensate for my annoying requests and wasting her time on my old fashion hair style. And I understand that someone who would come in in the next 15' is more important than what she was working on right now. I still love my hair tho. Because that was what I requested. I want curly hair. Period. There is no reason a straight hair, round face person should have the same hair style her whole life. I told her the hair style she cut for me, I had it back in high school which was more than 10 years ago. Before leaving, I asked for bobby pins to shape my hair. I have been coming to this salon for over a year now as there are not many salon options in Great Falls and after my last appointment, I will not be returning. I understand traffic in this area is horrid but repeatedly waiting atleast 20 minutes past your early morning appointment time for your stylist to even arrive is really unexceptable and unprofessional. At my last appointment, I was getting my hair done for a wedding and ALL I wanted was a blow-out. Unfortunatly, the stylist was dumbfounded as to what a blow-out was and I left incredibly unhappy with the end result (but paid full price). I have also recently found out that this location is more expensive than the other nearby location in Mosaic! Absolutely absurd. You have lost a repeat customer! Read Less

I went here as a birthday present to myself, a fancy salon to look my best! I showed the girl a very clear picture on my phone, a simple layered cut to my shoulders with some light brown color mixed in, I even kept that picture on my phone the whole time in my lap for her to reference.... 2.5 hours and almost $300 later I get a bob at my chin with my hair having bleached highlights, it was terrible. I was so upset leaving that salon! I went to work and complained and since then I have had three other co-workers have the same, terrible experience there! If you are going in with a cut and color in mind DO NOT go here, I guess the staff likes to give you what they want and not what you ask for..then charge you for triple. A list of hair services offered and a range of prices for each service would be helpful for new customers trying to get a feel for what they can afford at your salon. The whole team at the Mosaic district salon made me feel and look like a million dollars, and I'm looking forward to going back! Rachel is a color ninja, and did a perfect balayage on my auburn hair. Leili finished my visit off with a beautiful cut and style. She really took care of every detail to help me look my best. Everyone there was genuinely welcoming and friendly, and I loved that they were likewise with each another and worked well together as a team. It made for such a pleasant experience.
