I'd give this salon zero stars if I could. Made an appointment three days in advance for 6 pm pedicures for a friend & I. Arrived 5 minutes early. No one greeted us. Picked colors and nothing. Asked and they spoke to each other in Vietnamese. Still nothing. I walked back at 6:15 to see if there was a problem and saw all the chairs were full. They basically ignored us, did not honor the appointment, did not apologize, left us standing in the lobby with no update and then said 10 minutes after we had already waited 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment. I came and got a shellac manicure from Helen. She did an awesome job. She was really gentle, didn't hurt me at all. The mani looks great, especially towards the bottom of the nail, and I can tell it's going to last a while. I will definitely come back. It was worth the money. I came here last week to get gel nail polish. Their selection wasn't amazing, but I still managed to find a polish similar to what I wanted. Pros: They're fast, efficient, and they'll take tips on a card which is pretty rare these days. My problem is that it's been less than 10 days and the polish has lifted up from my nail beds and has started coming off. Don't waste your money coming here for gel polish because it's not going to last. I'll be sticking with my favorite nail salon back in Arlington, and not stopping here when I need something quick and convenient. Read Less

I come here all the time. I always get a full set manicure and the bomb pedicure. Absolutely amazing!!!! I love Lyly she's awesome. Just make sure you are clear on what you need done so they take their time with you & you aren't rushed. Read Less

Terrible service - my technician kept getting up during my services and disappearing for several minutes at a time, and didn't focus on me at all (and I had made an appointment). Her work was sloppy - I needed her to clean up some polish on my skin and reshape some nails. And, to top it off, my gel manicure chipped less than 24 hours later! I have been going to Instyle Nails for years (at least 4 years now), and no matter where I move to I make the drive out to Fairfax to see Ann. I have gel acrylic nails, full-sets, and Ann is the ONLY person I trust with them. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails, as is any woman whose been having them done for years. I know exactly what shape, thickness, and quality I expect my nails to be and Ann delivers every time. In fact I usually go a full three weeks before having my nails filled and they hold up and look great until then. I have not had any experiences with any other technician doing my nails because I only see Ann, but I have had their pedicures (with random techs) and they do a great job every time with that as well. Overall, a great nail place to get acrylics or gels done, and Ann is my go-to girl for that. Read Less

I gave this salon three stars because the nail service is good, but customer service is lacking. The first time I went to get my nails done, they were looked great and lasted a long time. The second time I went to get my nails done my sister came with me. She told the nail tech that she wanted a manicure, and then told her she wanted acrylics once her nails were cleaned. It wasn't too late to get an acrylic set at all. But, the nail tech created a scene and gave her an attitude--stating "this lady here didn't tell me she wants acrylics and now I have no time", just repeating that over and over again, and rudely at that.
