My Favorite Lady is Nancy she is the best l have found in Fairfax County after trying so many places around she is by far the best in the area l been coming here for over 1 1/2 now and l love it 😍.... l feel like l’am very delicate when it comes to my nail the shape the color everything has to be perfect, so Nancy is very patience with me she is very sweet and friendly there are other girls in the shop l have try before they where good too, so please do not listen other reviews try for your self l promise you won’t be disappointed. It was ok. I have been here twice. Both visits I was able to come right in. TheEmployees were friendly.This most recent time I had a gel manicure,It hasn't even been three days and a couple of nails are peeling off. There is no way this is going to last a week. For a $40 french gel manicure I usually get a solid 2, if not 3 weeks from other salons. Not sure what the deal is here, if it's the products or the techs but reading the reviews it seems like I am not the first one with this problem. If you do visit, bring cash to tip. I called the salon later on a Saturday afternoon to see if they availability for two pedicures.  The woman was very pleasant and told us to come right over.  When we arrived they took us right in.  The ladies were very friendly and the pedicures were fabulous!  I wish I lived closer.  If I did I would be a regular customer! This place is amazing! My whole family goes to the owner Nancy and she is just phenomenal. She's been doing my nails for about 3 years now and my cousins for about 8 years I believe. I always make an appointment with her so I never have to wait and she does a full set of acrylics with gel polish in under 45 min, which saves me so much time without sacrificing quality. My last salon used to take over an hour and will never come close to how amazing my nails look after I leave Elegance Nails. If you've been contemplating coming there just go! You won't regret it! Today i wen't with my mother in law every thing was going in well until my mother in law had a problem with her thumb she had a accident when she was a kid and all the ladys did was laugh since the lady she got at first couldnt do acrylics on that one thumb my mother in law went to another lady she was rude not careful and harsh with her nails we asked if they could write a name on a nail and all they did was laugh for me its bad service at this place i hope tommorow when i go to do my nails its a better experience Read Less

Recently had my nails done here again.  The backstory... I used to always get my nails done at this shop consistently for 2 or 3 years- then I "fell on hard times" and the splurges were minimum- but they always did an awesome job, the shop was clean and they had additional services like keep a box with your name on it so that the tools were only for you....that was pretty cool!  Also, I had a few accidents within a day or so of having my nails done and they always allowed me to have them fixed (only like twice...) but that was also great customer service!  If I still lived or worked near the shop I would still be a customer! Thanks to the many well deserved reviews on that its the one place that I felt comfortable trying and while they are more than what I paid for in chicago, they were cheaper than most and I watch my pennys. So I was pleasantly surprised that they live up to their reviews and do a great job. I have moved away from the area but if I ever found myself in need of their services and I'm in the area, they are my go to for sure! Read Less

This is the only place I go to for my nails. Been coming here for years.  Everyone that's done my nails does a great job.  I never have appointments when I come and they always take me.  I've also done eyebrow waxing here and the 2 girls who's done it were awesome! One was Tracy but don't know the other one's name.  I don't like my eyebrow thin and they do a great job of listening to what I like. Read Less

They accept walk-ins which was great since me and my friend went to two other places where you needed an appointment just to get a manicure. I showed my nail technician a picture of what I wanted and she was spot on. Before even starting the manicure, I said I wanted acrylics and she kept on insisting my nails were too pretty for acrylics. But I wanted long claws, so she let me get them. They had a huge range on different colors from OPI which I prefer over other brands. She even let me test some colors before I finalized my decision. The final result amazed me and I am thoroughly impressed. Will definitely go back again if I'm near the fairfax area. Read Less

I had a new manicurist and unfortunately I had a bad experience with her. I came in for a mani/pedi with a bridal party. She sat me in a broken pedi chair (so no massage :( ). I let it go because otherwise I'd be separated from the bride. During the manicure she cut my finger.. I've had accidents at salons before but this was by far the most painful. She also did not give me a hand massage. Doesn't it come with the service? I considered coming back to try someone else because my friend spoke so highly of this place. However when I was finishing up the workers were talking very rudely about another customer who just left. No thanks. Read Less

They are pretty old school here...they still use the razor on heels and don't offer mani and pedicure menus like deluxe pedicure scrubs with wax and more...you get the basic and that's it...guess I'm spoiled by Dallas salons where we have big screens, get offered free wine and mixed drinks in some places and have 5 different options just for your pedicure. This place was also a little dirty...there were no tables to sit your drink or magazine, so i put mine on their break station right next to my pedi station and i noticed containers of food unrefridgerated...ew. My manicure and pedicure looked fine but there is nothing special going on over at Elegance Nails...welcome back to the no frills 90's nail salon, they wouldn't be competitive back home in Texas. Got a pedicure and shellac manicure right before vacation. Cost was $58 + tip. The actual experience was not bad, although I was asked if I wanted an eyebrow wax. When I was finished I asked for the paper slippers (had come straight from work so I wasn't wearing flip flops), but the technician said my toes were dry. When I got home and took my shoes off the polish was ruined. My cuticles were also ruined- having been cut to shreds. It has been less than 2 weeks since my shellac is already chipping. Maybe I had a bad technician, but I was not pleased with experience. Read Less

I live near this salon and go here often. It's a nice salon and the service is in line with what they charge. One of the reviews below is for a different salon so not sure how they got it on this page. This is not a regal salon located in a Walmart. It's in a strip mall. The other two reviews aren't anything like I have experienced. They have always been considerate and fixed issues - i.e. when I bang a nail against the table before it is dry. Read Less
