I've been tanning for about a decade now off and on and have been to all the major tan spots in the area. This is by FAR my favorite. The ambiance is amazing, the beds are too notch, and above all the prices can't be beat. Scott, who works at the front desk, is the BEST! He's extremely knowledgeable and just a fun guy to talk to while he's getting you setup with your bed. Spray tan is awful. Out of date. No light when your getting sprayed. No barrier hand/foot cream offered so my hands are dark orange. When you open door after spray the mist gets all over the floor, your clothes, purse etc. It so small & hot in there you have to stand & fan yourself dry for over 5 minutes before you can even consider getting dressed (the heated light only amplifies the sweating problem). The result is dark lines in some areas & no color at all in others. (I'm very experienced w/using mystic & norvell spray beds once a week for the last 10-12 years so it's not operator error). Molly the salon owner is amazing! She knows her products and got some beautiful beds and stand-ups! She has has Mystic and Spray-tan (where someone manually sprays you like in Dancing with the Stars!) What is awesome is the spray tan is 100% guaranteed! They are incredibly knowledgeable staff and offer great opinions and advice which always holds to be truthful. The salon is kept clean and professional. I have been tanning for many years and have been to various locations a...nd at this location every time I walk in it is clean and the bathrooms are very clean. I have only been to this salon 2 times and have tried the level 3 laydown and standup and after each tan I had GREAT color! My husband doesn't usually notice things and 2 days after I tanned he even asked me if I had gone because it looked so good. I will also mention it is worth the investment to use tanning lotion when you go in since it will give you a deeper, darker tan that will last longer and have anti-aging in it. I have not tried the spray tan but when I do I will review it. If you plan to spray tan make sure you go with no -makeup on, no lotions and just go all natural. Awesome tanning salon! I highly recommend!..I found out about this place thru Groupon. It was a little hard to find because its inside the University Mall upstairs. Its next to the 24 hour gaming center. Super clean and modern inside. The girl that helped me was really nice. The prices are NOT bad at all for the quality and types of beds and stand ups they have. This place is great.  Super clean with modern decor.  Molly is helpful and kind.  Definitely a great option if you don't want to go with the usual Palm Beach Tan or other chains.  I'm working on evening out my tan before my wedding in a few weeks.  They have tons of options, including different tanning levels and even a spray tan booth.  Molly made sure to take the time to explain each type to me and help me decide what would work for me best.  I will be back!They're also open super late (until midnight on some days) and currently have a special where tanning is discounted after 10 PM.  Check them out! I really like this place! The owner and staff are super nice and very helpful if you're trying to figure out what you want -and the best way to get it. They're really happy to take time and explain how it all works... It's also very clean! Location is great as well. I've been to multiple tanning salons in the area, and I have to say this one is the best. It is the most affordable, has the best beds/both, the most adorable theme, amazing customer service (they're all knowledgable and kind) and the best hours. I usually use velocity, PLEASE try it if you're there-worth it. It builds a tan without burning you, and I'm typically one to burn. It only uses 1% UVB rays, which is less detrimental than the sun! No other salon carries it and I'm so happy Boxcar has invested into it for us! It's $10 after 10PM for ANY bed/both and that is a CATCH. I'm so thankful this place can make it affordable and accessible for those of us who are tight with money and get off work late. Best way to unwind after work or studying all day! Read Less

I went in to try the Velocity bed for their $10 Tans after 10 Pm special and couldn't believe the results after just one session! I was at least 1-2 shades darker! The staff are informative, personable, and they made the experience fantastic! The décor is super unique and the prices can't be beat. I most certainly will be returning! Definitely a quality tanning place! The owner Molly is super friendly and will answer all your questions about tanning, and place is super chic. My favorite bed is the velocity, I was noticeably several shades darker after just one use.
