Tried Lynn nails for the convenience of their location. I am not satisfied with the performance. I asked to make my nails a certain length, and the woman cut them completely off. During the buff, the buff pad was used and falling apart as she was using. Ij mentioned that it was old and needed replacement and the lady giggled as she put it back into a plastic bag like it was going to be "newly open" again for another customer. That little trick got.me looking around and I didn't see any cleaning products for the nail tools. If they have something to clean, it wasn't in the open. Finally I had to ask her to clean under my nails, a normal procedure in my experience, and she reacted like it was a special request then proceeded to wrap a cotton ball around a nail tool giving a horrible try.  I'm still outside typing this and here is the pic of my horrible nail job. Came back for an extra layer of clear gel polish because it started to peel upand the owner didn’t believe that I got my nails done there and made me tell her which booth I sat at. And then she had the nail tech come and verify that she served me... very uncomfortable and unnecessary. Read Less

One day after gel manicure I noticed air bubbles under a few of my nails. in less than one week (7 full days) the polish was beginning to peal off. The owner did my nails - she rushed and was impatient. Not a fan of this place. Read Less

A great salon for the price! Everythig is super clean and the women are all so sweet. They take care of you well, but note this is not a "luxury" salon, just a cute small neighborhood salon. They do great work and their prices are amazing! Love them! Read Less

I just moved to the area so I wanted to check out some nail salons near me. I always get gel nails that usually last 2-3 weeks. Im pretty careful with my nails and do dishes with gloves. Let's just say If you ever get gel nails from here, just know it'll peel right off in 1 week. Read Less

I liked going to Lynn's for the convenience. Then I stopped because if you use credit card to pay, they add on the charges to you. The past two visits, the service was terrible. One week after I received gel manicure, the polish completely peeled off. Just three days ago, I got a gel manicure, and again the polish completely lifted off. I noticed I didn't get a base polish, and also they are adding acetone to the polish because it was drying up. I am done. Will not go back at all. Read Less

I've gotten my nails done here once and they were okay. They are very close to my house and I wouldn't mind going back to get my nails done but their prices are too high. You can go anywhere else in the area and its Cheaper. Every few weeks I do go in to get my eyebrows waxed by Mylee she's amazing at eyebrows. Read Less

Was greeted at the door asked what color I want I mentioned to the lady I wanted something sparkly and festive for the new year. She gave me very little to no suggestions and then stared at me I felt pressure and just picked the first color I saw which was dark... oh well I'll get sparkle next time I thought went back and sat in a pedicure chair with cold water for 47 minutes before anyone came to help me. My pedicure looked great (dark blue-grey) sat down for the manicure and to my dismay my pretty long square nails that took me so long to grow got filed down to uneven nubs and the color match they did ended up making my finger nails purple as I mentioned this to my technician he told me another coat would make them darker.... obviously didn't make them any less purple so 90+ dollars later my nails are ruined mismatched and not sparkly whatsoever will never ever go back. The actual services, are fine. It's nice they use the disposable liners, however, the atmosphere is terrible. They always have the news on - totally depressing - and the owner's kids are either there yelling or she's yelling and talking to them on the phone. There is nothing relaxing about going here. It would be nice if they put on better TV and the owner didn't let her kids come and/or when she talked to them on the phone she went in the back. I'm not sure I'll be back. Read Less

The product is ok, but the tech was very bossy and argumentative. I went into this salon because the gels i got from another salon kept peeling off immediately. I had just gotten my acrylics filled 2 days earlier so i clearly did not need fills. In an obvious attempt to upsell, the nail tech at lynn argued that i did and pointed out a non-existent gap in acrylic on one of my nails. I wanted the tech to remove the old defective gels and reapply in the same french design with pale pink gel tips on pink gel nails, but after applying the main color, first she claimed that the gel on gel technique was the reason they were peeling. If that were the case none of the gels would stick. But i had successfully worn the same style before with no problem of peeling. I believe the reason these were peeling was because the original tech had not properly applied the bonding layer and even after returning to the original salon for a free repair, my tips were still peeling, including one that had been repaired the earlier day. Then the Lynn's nail tech argued that the tips would cost $5 more. I replied that i undrstood i was paying full price to repair nails applied in a diffedent store and if i couldnt afford having my tips done i wouldnt be there having my nails done at all. Then she claimed that she didnt undestand what i was asking her and insisted my only option was white tips. I told her i didnt want white tips i wanted pink tips, but she exclaimed that the pale pink color that i had pinked was translucent and wouldnt work, still pushing white. I had to get up with half done nails, go back up to the rack, and find the same pale pink in an opaque polish. In all the more service-oriented nail salons i have been to, a more professional rep would have gone to the rack, found the opaque color that most closely matched the translucent that i picked and recommended it. As long as im getting the color, design, length, and shape that i ask for, i believe it is the nail tech's job to recommend the technique that bests achieves that design. I should not have to argue with the tech about color. As it turned out, after all that, upon leaving the salon i noticed in the center of one of my middle fingers, a tiny annoying bump in the middle of the nail where some fleck of debris ended up under the polish. I was a a walk in. I asked for a pedicure! The pedicure was very painful and I told the women to stop!! She continued as I told her it was very painful! I am a Registered Nurse and I have never experienced anything like this!! My large right toe now looks infected and is very painful!! I am a local resident and can not and will not recommend this place they need to close!! I am sure I am going to have to seek medical treatment from my doctor!! I'm really shocked to see the low reviews. I've been going going to Lynn nails for over 4 years which is before they were at this location. They badge always been very friendly, accommodating and professional. I get manicures, pedicures and body waxing done here.I move to Fredericksburg and still come up for my monthly pampering. While getting my pedicure done I told the lady not to go too deep while cleaning the nails and she did anyways and made me bleed. She put the cotton ball in alcohol and packed it in and didn't take it out. It was really painful and my both big toe ended up infected therefore had to see the doctor to clean out the infection with even more painful numbing injection. Would not recommend this place to anyone obviously they are not good about keeping their place and instrument clean. Hope no one goes through what I went through. Read Less

The first time I went here, I loved it. They really took their time and did an excellent job making my nails look the way I wanted (that I got the right color and shape etc). The last time I went there the service was awful. They had been busy earlier, so I left to run some errands before returning, and when I got back they were able to start immediately. I even had the owner doing my nails, so expected it to be done really well. However, it was like she was still in rush mode because it took two minutes for her to go through the base, two color coats and top coat by sticking my nails under the dryer for a few seconds between each coat. Needless to say, less than 24 hours later they are chipped and the bubbles from the nail dryer have popped and really added a distinct texture to my polish. I could have done a better job at home. I went to Lynn Nails as a first time customer. This place is so unprofessional. The technician that was doing my nails was on her cell phone while servicing me! I couldn't believe it. While i was getting my nails done another technician stood there watching. I hate that! This place is new, and so I thought I'd give it a try. I went in last Sunday and there were 4 women working, but twice as many clients. So, I sat in a foot bath for 35 minutes while they worked on others. The woman finally came over to work on me, and I have a couple of issues. First, it seemed very half-hearted. She just tried to finish as soon as she can and so she didn't take good care. Someone else had to finish my polish- she left to handle someone else and I waited another 10 minutes for the polish. Second, she made insulting comments about me keeping my nails short, which I do because I play sports. She made a comment, and then spoke in another language to her coworkers, who all looked over at me, and then they all laughed. I didn't appreciate it.Finally, I ended up with an infection in my foot (big toe) from this place. I don't know if it's because the tub wasn't cleaned well or if it was because the instruments weren't cleaned well, but in any case, I now have a very painful infection. I won't be back. Read Less
