Terrible experience. We were a walk in granted, but the service was extremely slow and for a nail treatment that didn't last a week, they were grossly overpriced! One in our party was late, but we were in that salon for close to 4 hours. We were there to celebrate before a relative's wedding and one in our party got her first pedicure. They sat her down in a chair and didn't say anything. The food and drink offer was a stalling tactic. There was water in the basin and I told my friend not to put her feet in since I knew nothing of this cold idle water. A person came by and provided the pedicure telling her to put her feet in the water. Is that sanitary? Then 3/4 of the way through the process, the assistant realized and turned on the warm water for her. During my manicure, the assistant refused to look at me. When I politely pointed out a mistake on one finger, she told me it was my fault because my nails were so short. My sister who was also there got acrylic nails that fell off only a few short days after and my 'gel' french manicure didn't last a week. WORST $250, including tip, that I ever spent. Terrible place, I paid $57 for nothing, I went into this nail spa with my friend and she got the pedicure callus treatment with regular nail polish and I got the gel nail and callus treatment pedicure only for me to be done way earlier than my friend who got a regular nail paint. The lady barley scrubbed my feet. And when I asked how I was done before my friend, she rubbed my leg in hot towel (mind you this is after my shellac nail polish had dried off and she was done massaging my feet with oil) I would not recommend this place and I think the lady I had name is sisi.  Go somewhere else these guys are terrible. I freaking love LINDA . I got a full Gel SET  and LINDA  was super chill, fast, professional, and hilarious also. LINDA  never made it awkward, it didn't take super long, and she knows how to make you feel comfortable. I also got my nails done by LINDA and her  polish skills are on point. Lasted longer than 6 weeks! I highly recommend this place and also to make an appointment because she is always busy!  I have known Linda for 15 years... so she is a pro... I’ve been going here for 3 years and they were awesome but I feel like the manicurists don’t care anymore about their craft or something. One time my nails were lumpy, the next time some of my nails were different shapes with a bad polish job, this recent set, he did my acrylics so thin that they cracked in the first week and the paint job was horrible! I've been going for over ten years and I have always been fairly happy. Got my nails done yesterday and pedi $65. The big toes were messed up-wrinkled on the bottom (which is totally unusual for them) and the manicure is nowhere near what I had wanted. Usually love the place. Went back less than 24 hrs later to have them corrected and I was shockingly charged another $20. Very sad and disappointed, as I said I've been going to them for a decade. not angry just very disappointed. I've referred dozens of friends and family members. If you are unhappy with your nails make sure when they fix them you ask about an additional charge. Read Less

I've come here since it is around the corner from my home and been going here through other management changes.  Recently I was paired up with Linda who was accommodating and did a great job. My appointment consisted of gel polish and waxing (Usually I add a pedicure if my schedule permits). I plan to see Linda again and glad this beautiful and relaxing establishment is close by! I have gone to this salon for years off and on. I can always count on great customer service and a friendly staff. May used to do my mom's nails for years before she moved and Katie is always consistently great at her work. This is the only nail salon in the area (that I know of) that offers refreshments to their clients. They have a lot of nail techs so there's hardly ever a wait. I was excited about this nail salon having it be so close to my house. However, my first time was subpar. The nail tech was distracted and barely made me feel like a client. But, I decided to give it a second try and now I am definitely never returning. I had a 7pm appointment and was quickly escorted to the back for my feet to soak. Promising right? Well, 30 minutes later, no one greeted me, no one came to ask how long I'd been waiting nothing. The water got cold, my feet started to prune and I ended up having to call the location from my pedicure chair just to get someone to help me. I was told that because I had an appointment without specifying someone (remember the first person I had was terrible so of course I wasn't going to request her again so how am I supposed to know who to ask for) I had to wait longer than if I requested someone. What?!? Last I checked, an appointment for a specified time should mean reasonable accomodation, not the lengths I had to go through just to be acknowledged. All in all, steer clear of this place. I've been to less fancy places with better quality customer service, cheaper prices, and better nail tech services. Go elsewhere. The one glass of wine is not worth the headache. You're supposed to relax at a nail salon and the two occasions I've been there, it's been frustrating and stressful. Who wants to pay for that? Read Less

I am sad because I wanted to enjoy my ManiPedi with my friend. It was our first time there and we booked it to have you guys ready for us but seems like there was priority for other people. Four ladies showed up with no appointment after us signed in and were immediately helped. The front desk is right by the door and there is not room for waiting. We had no idea about complimentary water and or drinks and other services offered, brought our personal paint and one manicurist took it as it was not ours and put in doubt it was our Essie paint. Also the remote for the seat massager at the pedicure session was very dirty, they did not used sanitized nail filers and wanted me to sign the voucher when my nails were wet, the final dry out area is dusty and oily... Took my best friend here for her 21st birthday because I saw that they offered wine. We both got full sets and regular polish. As we started the service they didn't even offer wine or snacks until I asked them about it. My best friend's nails ended up really thick and not shaped nicely. Mine kept breaking the week after, so I came back within a week a second time to get them fixed. Got a different technician (m had a f the first time) End result was the same thing they kept breaking and the guy kept messing up my polish. Needed a new nail tech relationship cause my old place sucked (Joy Nails) so I decided to try this shop out and ended up with Calvin.. so happy I ended up in his chair! Not only is he a pretty cool dude.. he was also very detailed, so they are smooth and shaped perfectly using very little gel so they're not thick and fake looking. I get gel put over my real nails so they don't break and the various salons I've been trying in the neighborhood had turned my fingernails into a fat blobby mess! Calvin took his time fixing them and making them pretty! I couldn't be happier!! He's my new favorite! The other people looked like they were also happy and the pedicures looked good also. The ambiance of the establishment is first class. I loved the semi private pedicure rooms. The prices for some of the pedicures are a little high. I had the espresso scrub pedicure and it was very good. Lala was a great technician. The intake person should do a bit of an intro for first time customers. Had I known more about the amenities I may have taken advantage of them and purchased more services. When I walked to the restroom I saw all the herbs used for the aroma pedicure. Had an attendant shown me the herbs and explained the benefits I probably would have chosen that option, even though the price was a bit more.  Overall, a great experience. Read Less

If you ever want your eyebrows done, go to Jasmine. I don't let anyone touch my eyebrows except her she does such a wonderful job. She does my nails perfect every single time as well. Everyone there does great nails as well. Everyone there is sweet and nice and the place is always neat and clean. They give you drinks and little snacks as well. world's is the best nail salon i've been to, i keep going back!today i had my nails done by the guy with spikey hair and arm tattoos. i asked for acrylics but he convinced me to get gel nails, which are normally $45 but he said he would do them for me for $40. overall i was happy with the result. at one point he accidentally nicked my thumb with the spinning filing tool and when i told him it hurt he apologized profusely. i really appreciated his professionalism in being willing to apologize.my little sister got a polish, which only costs $4! i didn't know until recently that that was an option (as opposed to a manicure). it's a great way to be able to let little kids have the experience of getting their nails done without spending a ton of money.overall i definitely recommend world's because of their professionalism and quality work! Such a good experience getting my nails done here! I usually don't get my nails done but I was so sick of my nails getting chipped all the time so I decided to get acrylic french nails. I came in as a walk in on a busy Saturday afternoon with my friend. The wait was maybe 5 minutes long which was really quick even though it was packed inside. I was greeted by the manicurist that going to do my nails and was sat down by her booth. She brought me pineapples and a water with lemon so I felt a little spoiled. She did my nails and kept making sure that I liked how it was so she can fix it right away before it's too late. Everything was nice and clean in the salon. Definitely coming again next time!
