I have heard good things about this nail salon. So my friend and I decided to try it today. Disappointed. Although the place was clean. We both felt rushed during our pedicure and our nail tech must have been wanting to leave. Both techs took short cuts and did sloppy work. My nails are cut crooked and messy nail polish. I got a pedicure and was really pleased with my tech. I have an ingrown toenail and she handled it with skill and ease and very little pain. I think I bragged about this place on their Facebook. I take it all back. I just got my nails cut down,and the older guy who did it for me had to be the rudest man I've had serve me there. He didn't listen to me,I asked short,and he took them down maybe a fraction of an inch. He got mad because while he was cutting them down some of the pieces flew off into his face. I know it all depends on who you get;but all of them there aren't real great. Yeah,I know sometimes they're good at nail art,but-that don't bring in customers.That was a waste of $5.00 I seriously could have done a better damn job myself at home for free,not to mention they wouldn't be uneven.The prices aren't great(WallMart is cheaper) I'm not trying to put them out of business-I'm well aware that's never going to happen. I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and everyone was so kind. The employees knew many of the customers like friends and made sure you felt welcomed. Not to mention the quality of the manicure itself was probably the best I've every had. I'm giving one star because I don't totally hate the end product. Consider this:You really need your nails done or just want them done. Nail services are not cheap. Honestly, it's a treat for most people, something enjoyable and pampering. Unless you go to this place. I should've left when I wasn't greeted. I should've left when I saw how disorganized the color samples were, when the seat I sat in to wait almost flipped me over backwards, when the nail tech wasn't smiling or friendly, when she didn't introduce herself....I could go on. This tech painfully nicked my skin without apology. She was irritated when I asked for the nails to be filed more narrow. She was so rude about it, huffing and puffing so much I thought the place would blow down. It took someone else walking over to show her what to do and the entire place knew there was an issue by how loudly she was sighing. I should've left. Then, she went on to nick my cuticles some more and just be so awkwardly unfriendly. She acted like I was an inconvenience. Now, during all of this, the tech behind her was being so loudly rude to her customer that I felt like crying for her. Totally unprofessional. During the entire event (1 1/2 hrs) there was a guy there coughing all over the place it was almost like he had tuberculosis. WHY be there to make everyone sick?? The morale of the entire place is horrible. They spoke in whatever language they speak, pointing at the poor girl the woman had just humiliated and laughing. I'm surprised they get any business. It's almost like all the customers must enjoy the abuse. I didn't know they ask for their tips in cash prior to going as it was my first visit so I asked if I could place a tip on my card (why was I tipping? Because Idk. I shouldn't have) and she rolled her eyes and said only if I don't have cash. (What??) I tipped $10 on the $45 charge. I hope she uses it for etiquette lessons because by the way, she didn't thank me. The place needs a good cleaning. She used an emory board on me that wasn't new. I couldn't believe it. The Dremel bits were not out of sealed packs, and the table top cushions you rest your arms on were not clean. I should've left. Honestly, knowing me, I can't believe I didn't. It was Sunday evening and this was just about my only chance of getting my nails done. The health department needs to swoop in here.  As for the final product, not terrible although she left residue under my nails and on my fingers. I got a pedicure and a full set of nails. The lady that did my pedicure was very nice however my toes and the paint job wasn't worth 60.00. I was told it was only 40.00 untill the end. But the worse part was the lady that did my nails was so rude. She got mad at me when I told her I would like my nails shorter. She started hurting my hands with the file because she got agravated. She left the previous nail polish I had on, all over my hands when I asked her if she could get it off she started jerking my hands around and didn't remove all of it. She yelled and said there's the sink.... meaning for me to go wash my hands. Over all she was very disrespectful.This was my first experience here. I drove an hour and a half to get there just to try them out I was very disappointed with this womans attitude and nail performance. I wont be back. I was in town to visit my sister and we went to get our nails done! I haven't had French in a really long time so I thought I'd give it a try and I couldn't be happier. We got lucky with no appointment and barely any waiting. I got SNS nails which I highly recommend to anyone. I was a die hard gel fan but now won't do anything else. I just moved to the area and was looking for a good place to go to for fills. I found this place and it had decent reviews on here so I tried it out. It's very clean and pretty, and they have a lot of people working there. I had no wait time and they have a bunch of colors to chose from. I asked them if they could do chrome, and only one guy there could do them (Hugh I think) and he did a great job. The only bad part about my experience here was one of the female workers kept hacking up stuff and spitting it into a trash can in front of me... gross. Anyway Hugh did a great job and took his time- which is great because a lot of places rush and mess up. It was affordable, and I'll have to try a pedicure next time. I'll definitely be going back! I haven't even had my pedicure yet but the 50 minute wait to sit in the chair for another so far 10 minute wait without water in the tub has been far from what I'm accustomed to. We were told we had a 20 minute wait which we were happy to wait for. Too bad... we had a multitude of options and chose the wrong one. You win some, you lose some.I've been soaking for 10 minutes and the water is getting cold...  15 minutes and I'm walking out.65 minutes and still not a painted nail.Far from the enjoyable experience my daughter and I were anticipating. Go this salon if you'd like to be fat shamed. As a size 14/16, I consider myself to be plus but certainly never to the point of being fat shamed. I came in for a gel pedicure and waxing Bc I couldn't get in at any other salons. I'm from California so I had limited recommendations to go from. While doing my bikini wax, I was asked if I ever had a baby.  I am unsure how this is in any way related to my need to remove body hair but I obliged and said no, I just have stretch marks. My experience at Nail Envy was great. The chairs were nice, the towels warm, very classy. Hard working staff. My only complaint is that he took longer than needed. He spent 10 minutes rubbing lotion on one leg, only two minutes in the other. It only made me kind of uncomfortable. Awesome experience. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon at about 1 pm requesting a basic pedicure ($28) and Carol (sp?) took excellent care of me. There was about a 5 minute wait to sit down at the pedicure chair, but it took about 30 minutes before my service started due to the high volume of customers. Her massage was epic with the right amount of time and pressure. The only thing missing was a glass of wine (GET WITH IT State of Virginia!) I'll be back! Read Less

Not happy at all.. went in got full set of gel nails.. the guy didn't do any work to the cuticles and left a lot of mess up under the nail went back next day the same guy came out to redo and said nothing wrong with your nail.. and still didn't fix the underneath but went around the cutisles and charged me again.. will not go back Read Less
