I've been looking for this complete package for a long time. This is a great salon with wonderful people who are friendly and helpful, love them all. The salon is nicely decorated for every season. I went in saying I wanted a natural blonde there was almost no consultation although I did tell the girl that I leave my hair natural most days and it was curly then she began to do my hair she dye my roots very dark and just bleach rest of my hair. Everyone I know including other hairstylist told me that it looked awful and it was a terrible blonde. I paid over $300 for it but left looking like I went to the store bought box dye and did it myself. Besides the awful blonde color not once did she tell me I had to style my hair certain way every day or that my curls would be ruined by what I was getting done. I am giving this place two stars because management was nice and tried fix it the next day but the damage had already been done. If you need any help from a professional about your hair decisions I do not recommend this salon. Read Less

So glad I've moved back to area so I can come here again!! Greeted me right away and offered me a mimosa or coffee. Of course I got the Mimosa! But did enjoy some coffee later too. Dana was my stylist today and she is the one to book with! I seriously have no negative comments to make about her or the Salon. She took her time with me to figure out exactly what I was looking for and the color I prefer. I told her I didn't like when my highlights stand out too much so she did a glaze at the end that, wow, I am in love with!! When she was done, she asked me what I thought and I loved everything about it, but made a comment that next time I think I'll go a little shorter. Just moved to Chester and looked around for a good stylist since those chain brand establishments kept messing up my hair cut. The moment I walked into Yorya, I was greeted warmly and offered a drink while I waited for my stylist. This place is appointment based and the interior is really nice. They sell a wide variety of hair products starting from shampoos to styling products. They have a waiting room with comfortable couches and a Kurieg to accommodate customers. While waiting for my stylist, I've observed other stylists and they seem to very friendly to their customer.Dana was my stylist for the day. She was very polite and introduced herself immediately. Then she asked what I wanted and kind of brain stormed on how to get the cut I desired. She was very meticulous and really seem to put a lot of effort in the cutting process. She was very thorough and made sure every hair was cut perfectly. She also ended up washing my hair and followed it up with a hot towel and scalp massage.Pricier than your regular barber of course, but the money is so worth the effort these ladies put into not only the customer service, but the care into cutting the hair. I was here in May Brianna did my daughters hair color - long hair - and it came out just like she wanted and here we are in almost September and although there has been some fade, it is still a beautiful color and the roots aren't noticeable at all.  Not sure what color product is used, but it sure seems to be of a high quality.  Returning for a renewal soon. So being a mom with not much resources in terms of help, I generally have to do a lot with My two year old. This really leaves not much time for things like extensive shopping trips or pampering. Today I made the bold move of taking him along as I got an eyebrow wax. I of course asked ahead if it was okay. I've had great and bad experiences in the past taking him along more so from the shaming of having to bring along a child, which to some extent I get, but not all of us have sitters readily available etc. the salon said it was perfectly okay! Anyway all in all I really appreciated not feeling uncomfortable for having to bring my child around, it's extremely moving in my overly emotional heart to not feel embarrassed or shamed for wanting to treat myself and having to bring the little guy.The woman who did my eyebrows was so nice as was the woman at the front! My first visit was on Friday and my experience was amazing! I have another appointment in two weeks. Michelle was awesome, very professional, and talented. I have not found a hair stylist that knew what to do with my unruly hair but I have now. The Salon Yorya has a wonderful salon, the receptionist were very professional, friendly and made you feel welcomed. They never once ignored me and offered me something to drink. I have lived in Chester for 5 years now and after several failed attempts have not found a salon that I was comfortable with. A year since my last haircut, it was past time that I try again. I sat down and googled up salons in my area much like you are doing right now. After reading the reviews for Salon Yora I decided to call and make an appointment. Surprisingly, they had a cancellation and could fit me in in 30 min. I ran right over and am so happy that I did. The salon itself is very nice and clean, the bathroom even is beautiful! I saw Leah and will never go anywhere else. She sat me down and asked a lot of questions and actually listened to me then gave me her recommendation. I let her do whatever she wanted to my hair, trusting her to do a good job. Even if she did do a bad cut, the shampoo and scalp massage would have been worth it! But she did not disappoint with my hair at all. It looks and feels amazing! Not only that, but she is so friendly and cheerful that I would go every week for her to shampoo and style my hair just for the experience. If you are looking for a Salon that will NOT make you feel like you are nothing more than a "number" on an assembly line then look no further than Yorya!  The ladies that work at "Salon Yorya are ALL genuinely friendly, and dedicated to UNDERSTANDING their clients needs. The first time I visited "Salon Yorya" I had my hair styled by Michelle. I must say Michelle has the brightest smile, as well as a down to Earth personality. I really believe Michelle loves being a stylist, and it shows in her work! She knew exactly how to shape and texture my hair exactly the way I asked her to shape it! I've had master stylist from other salons cut my hair and they do not come near to cutting my hair as well as Michelle did!. By the looks of other clients hair, it appears that the other stylist I've watched  are just as dedicated to a great cut and style as well. My mother's hair is cut by Senior Stylist Jessica. Jessica did a beautiful job with my mother's hair as well!I LOVE the hot towel and scalp massage which will make any stress fade away. The owner is both multi-talented as well as dedicated to her craft, and her Salon is one of the best I have ever visited. The restroom is the cleanest I've ever seen in any Salon. "Salon Yorya Inc.
