Today Leah and Lauren gave both of my daughters fantastic haircuts! Leah cut my eldest daughter's hair. My daughter wanted a shorter hairstyle but wasn't exactly sure which - no problem, Leah listened to her, described the best options and in just a few moments they had a game plan. :) Leah's attention to detail is exceptional; while cutting hair she made sure the hairstyle was perfect from every angle and also made it a point to talk to my daughter as she was styling the new cut so my daughter could maintain it on her own at home. It's truly a joy to see someone who is a master at their craft and a genuinely nice person in action - thank you, Leah! :-D Lauren cut my youngest daughter's hair. She also wanted a shorter hairstyle but was hesitant to say how much shorter to go. No problem, Lauren put my little girl's hair up at several different lengths to gauge what length was best. She also made sure to show my daughter how her hair looked at different angles, and noted that her hair would be a bit shorter when dry. After much conversation and laughter my little girl had the haircut she wanted but didn't know how to describe when we walked into the salon. I am truly impressed by this salon and it's staff. It was a great experience, Joli was fantastic. She knew exactly what to do to my hair to get the desired effect even if it wasn't a pricey hair coloring which most stylists will do to bring in more revenue even if it is bad for the client's hair. She took into consideration the damage that was already done to my hair and came up with a fantastic alternative that I was completely happy with. I went to this salon last week to get my hair cut and colored by Lauren. I have been going to Lauren for a while, but this was my first time at this salon. The salon was so chic and clean, and I loved the atmosphere! Lauren is an excellent stylist, she really works hard to make sure that I get exactly what I came for and I never feel rushed or like just another client in the books. Each time I go is such an experience and I leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. This time Lauren gave me a beautifully sassy bob and a mahogany balayage. She took the time to style it perfectly so I was able to go straight from the salon to dinner with my friends! Katie listened, and delivered exactly what I wanted! My husband researched and scheduled my appointment for me for Mother's Day. He walked into the salon and was told that Katie would be able to give me exactly what I was looking for. Balayage and cut (taking off at least 8 inches of my too long of hair)I found parking right up front and was greeted by the receptionist. Katie came out right away and did her consultation where I had a few pictures of what I was looking for. Katie Cadwell listened to what I wanted and what I didn't want. It took about 3 hours for my balayage,tint, and color. My hair came out perfect!!! Cut the way I wanted and colored it perfectly without damaging my hair (us blondes know the pain of gummy ends from over processing). I am so happy my husband found this place for me- I will be returning here to see Katie to get my hair done. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Read Less

This is my go to hair Salon in the 757! I personally prefer salons vs barbershops; they have a more relaxed vibe to them and the atmosphere is upbeat and inviting. This salon is currently going through some small upgrades such as pull down blow dryers from the ceilings! So cool. I've been going here for about 2 months and my go to stylist is Cailey. She actually did some Balyage work on my GF last year. Cailey is friendly, personable and very carefully listens to the client to make sure she is giving them not only the best cut but also the best experience possible. It took a few appointments for my hair cut to come out the way I really wanted, but that problem stemmed from me not communicating what I specifically wanted. I think most of her clients are female so that's what most of her experience comes from; also, I think she may be a level 4 stylist now? Check with the front desk to make sure.All the employees here are friendly and I haven't had a bad encounter/experience yet. My only complaint is that the waiting room is very small.. there are only 4 seats and I can see it becoming crowded during peak times. I pay $28 for a mens cut (comes with a wash and styling) and I get a complimentary neck trim in between my cuts. The cost is a little high but I get a quality cut and great attention to detail during my visits which I appreciate and I think is worth the price. Read Less

My daughter got her hair colored yesterday and it cost almost $300.00! I called today to ask what over the counter shampoo to use and I was told they can't recommend anything except what they sell...which is ridiculously over priced. When I asked why, I was told the technicians are not educated on the over the counter shampoos. What?? So then I asked what I could look for in an over the counter product for color treated hair, for example, Sulfate Free. They were not able to answer that either. What?? I asked what made them "educated" on the two shampoos they sell. I was told the reps for those companies come out and tell then about the shampoos. I couldn't help but laugh. Marketing and education is not the same thing! If you are a true hair tech, you should be able to recommend a wide variety of shampoo brands for your client, not just the two you are forced to push on the consumer. Extremely disappointed and I am not sure I will allow my child to return to the salon. Again, all I asked was for a recommendation not a run around. Read Less

I've been going to Xanadu Hair Salon for a while now. With my new work schedule, it's important to find evening and weekend availability as my hair appointments usually last a couple hours. It's also imperative to have dyes and treatments without ammonia or harmful chemicals. Beca has touched up my roots, done mini balayages, hair trims/layers, deep conditioning treatments and styling. My hair color treatments haven't faded; my hair has grown into, not against, my layers. She tells me about the training she attends, and it's great for a company to send its employees to regular training and conferences so that they remain abreast with current trends. I always look forward to drinking one to two cups of coffee while I'm in the chair. The salon is clean, modern and comfortable. The hair dryers now hang from the ceiling, and I've heard that the stylists' tables will soon be updated. I'm in love with the Eufora hair and skin product lines, in which the first ingredient is typically aloe! Xanadu offers facials and trichology treatments, which I have yet to try. I do wish Xanadu was a little closer to home, but it's certainly worth the drive. Read Less

Every couple years or so I look to do a major chop off this mane of mine. I wanted to find someone who could do a good cut as well as color while not emptying my bank account. Enter Cailey! I actually found her work through Instagram and liked a lot of her cuts/styles so I called to set up a consultation, which was free. At the consultation she was really friendly and asked me questions about my hair and my expectations so that together we could be happy with the result. i left feeling very comfortable and was excited for the next step.The day of, I arrived with my boyfriend in tow and she went to work. First she went through what we were going to be doing and gave me the price upfront, which I really appreciated. You never wanna be the awkward one that asks for all these things and then find out it's too expensive and have to back out. Anyway so the appointment took almost 3 hours, but in that time she was attentive, friendly, and kept the conversation going evne with all of my boyfriends questions. the end result was exactly what I wanted.. Looks nice and I don't have to put a lot of effort into it. So, no complaints! The salon itself is really pretty and upscale. They have different levels of hair stylists and can fit pretty much anyone's budget. This is definitely a great place to go if you're looking to spruce up your hairdo!
