The massage chair didn't work that I was sitting in and the jets inside the tub didn't work for my husband. The tech cut my toenails too short and messed up my pedicure. She made 4 of toes bleed from cutting my skin. The hot stones were not hot. I told her she was hurting me 6 different times and she wouldn't stop what she was doing. Saying oh I'm almost done. I asked her to just stop don't touch me anymore. The deluxe was more like a regular pedicure. I wasted time and money. This is my first and last time coming to the Chesapeake location. I went based off of the good reviews and was not disappointed. This is probably one of the friendliest nail salons I have ever been to! I don't usually post reviews like this, usually they are negative but I need to share my particular experience. Firstly, let me just tell you that this salon will always get my business. I came in on a weekday, I had made an appointment to get a mani pedi. It was storming so terrible, and I was headed out of town for a wedding that very next day. They offered me a wine first thing, and I declined. I quit drinking a while ago. They immediately took me over and put me in a soak for my toes and the conversation with Courtney was light and courteous. Then, I sat down to get my nails done. I chose a basic French, with a hard coat and it lasted longer than anticipated! I had taken my ring off and set it down on the nail desk. Here's where this review matters, at least to me. I FORGOT THIS RING. I LEFT IT THERE. fast forward to Sunday (a few days after) and I realized I had lost it. I KNEW I had left it there, and immediately called the salon. Well, I had to explain why this ring mattered: it was left to me in my grandmother's will (it was her engagement ring) and meant a lot to me. I was convinced I'd never see it again. They called Courtney my nail tech, sent her an SOS. I didn't hear back. They had to wait on her to find it. It wasn't in the salon that they knew of. Monday, was memorial day, I called to check on it, and they were closed. And then on Tuesday.. They were open! And guess what? They had found my ring!!! You have no idea what it meant to me that they actually looked, found it, and even held it while I traveled back from TN to get it today (Thursday). I love this place. They take their time doing your nails and feet and they're always professional and friendly. Their shop is clean, parking is convenient and if you have an appointment there's hardly any waiting. The variety of libations are nice too to kick back in their comfortable chairs and relax. What a great place and service! They offered me beverage right off. You have a choice of wine, mimosas, sodas, coffee and tea  I got a pedicure and fill in with gel polish. I'm not gonna lie... I came here for the alcohol. That's right this place serves wine & beer. I happily asked for some sangria and it was delicious! I settled in my pedicure chair and relaxed away as Sophie, the nail technician, started to work on my feet. I opted for the Fire and Ice pedicure which included a minty lotion and hot stones. Perfect since I work on my feet all the time.Next, it was time for my gel manicure. The place has many options for color changing nail polish so I got one that is nude colored when I'm warm and hot pink when I'm cool. After she was done painting my nails, Sophie gave me the most awesome hand massage. I honestly could have fallen asleep.I also got my eyebrows done and Sophie paid extra attention to mine since I hadn't had them done in a while.Overall, the place may not be fancy looking like some other nail salons, but the service is where it counts. I didn't feel like I was being rushed out no matter how busy they were getting and there's attention to detail from my mani/pedi to eyebrows. The alcohol helps too! Okay so I can't say enough good things about this place! I stopped in after reading the reviews on Yelp and I was surely not disappointed!! First, I was treated to yummy free mimosas when I was getting my nails done! The shop was clean and inviting. I got a deluxe pedicure (which included a hot stone massage!), spa manicure, and a brow wax and it was only $57 before tip!! They spent a lot of time on me, and it was so relaxing! Most salons feel very rushed, but here they take a lot of time on each customer and you really get a lot for your money! The girls that were working that day (I think they are sisters) seemed to be a few years younger than me (maybe like 18-20?) and they were SO sweet! Usually when I go to a nail salon the technicians never really talk to you and you just sit in awkward silence and they speak amongst themselves, but here we kept up a conversation the entire time! The girls and I were laughing and joking about everything from our high school proms to the weather! It was such a welcoming atmosphere and the entire salon was having a group conversation giving one of the younger girls working there (probably 17 or 18) advice about her upcoming senior prom. I felt like I was hanging out with friends even though we were a room of strangers.I had a great time there...with the conversations the time flew by!! My nails and brows were flawless too!  I still can't believe I got a wonderful mani/pedi and brow wax (not to mention free mimosas) for only $57! I could go on and on about how great this place is, but I'm sure you get my point! The next time I'm visiting family in Virginia I will definitely be back! I can't recommend this place enough!! I like this nail shop a lot. Started going here this summer (2016) and so far it's been pretty good. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. It's always clean, and I always look for the proper cleaning of the pedi bowl and nail tools. It's important to me because I had a bad experience at my last nail shop thus seeking for a new shop this summer. I wish they did the plastic on the bowls as it seems to be the new thing in some shops.They offer great nail polish brands. I never feel rush no matter how busy it starts getting, which is great because then this will cause a redo if the tech doesn't do well the first time.Of course you heard about their mimosa. I'm sure it's good but I'm not a drinker so for the rest of us, they have Starbucks coffee!!! Yay! Read Less

I was so glad to find a day spa close by!  Open on Sunday, which is a huge plus for me - I don't always have time during the week to get my nails done.  TH has a large chair area for pedicures, plenty of tables for manicures, a huge selection of colors, shellacs, and gels.  For my first visit, I had my stepdaughter with me, getting her a mani, pedi, and brow wax.  For me it was a full set of acrylics, and a pedicure.Everyone there was very nice!  I was greeted quickly, seated quickly, and Ms. Theresa got right to my nails.  I opted for a glass of Moscato, which was WONDERFUL, and for my second   glass I decided to go for a mimosa.  They have multiple flavors available of their complimentary mimosas, red. white and blush wine, beer, coffee, soda, and water.  I really liked being able to have a glass while I relaxed!  Don't laugh but... I liked the instrumental Beatles that was playing.  It might be elevator music to some but it was nice to have it just to chill to in the background.  Much better than TV.Definitely my new salon.  Can't wait to go back!! This is a great nail salon! My husband and I are just in Virginia Beach for a few weeks, and then we're moving to King George area. But I needed a fill and I was looking on here for a salon. I called around five forty-five and they said there was no wait and I could come on in. I got there ten minutes later and was seated immediately! They asked if I wanted a drink(water, coffee or a mimosa!) They lovely lady who did my nails did a fantastic job!! Great shape and amazing fill. Free mimosa was awesome, girls were very nice. Did a good job on my nails. I needed an acrylic fill and one if my nails needed to be removed and she was very gentle about it. It's really awkwardly quiet in there though. No music or tv playing. Read Less
