I absolutely love this place!! Vanessa does my nails and my eyelashes. She does a wonderful job on my nails. And she does an amazing job on my eyelashes. I LOVE my eyelashes!!! The first strike was when I went for an upper lip wax, and left with wax burns where the hair was. The last strike was when I went in for a full set, but paid $30 for the nail tech to only put the acrylic nails on, and still had to go home and paint them myself. Read Less

Came in to shop at 430pm and did not leave until 8pm. Lily(grandma) took over and hr on my pedicure and took the remaining of time "trying" to do my nails. I had to stop her and tell her that my gel polish didnt come out looking lole everyone elses and that i wanted someone else to fix and finish my nails. She got an attitude and kept talking. Then i get to the register and im charged for a signature pedicure instead of a basic because she gave me something i did not request. Horrible customer service and because the technician rushed, my fingers got cut on the sides, tops and cuticles. I was waiting, another customer came in after me, that customer was taken ahead of me while I was told to wait. When I finally sat down with the owner she started my refill, then stopped halfway through to take and appointment that had been waiting (who also came in after me). I was asked to move. Then when an additional technician was brought in, instead of finishing my nails she took another customer (at the direction of the owner) that had also been waiting after me. I was forced to wait (approx. 45 minutes) for the owner to finish the appointments full refill & polish before she finished my nails. Customer service should be put over greed. Read Less

I used to love this place. It used to be the only place I would go for nails & eyebrows. I got my nails done for my birthday and they were absolutely beautiful but the day after I broke one & went back for a fix. They fixed, no charge. Nice right? Well about a week later I cracked my nail right in the middle & had to again return for another fix and I went with a friend. I expected to pay, no biggie. The shop was fairly busy when I went in. I sat down and waited about 20 min & then the girl came over with solution to soak off. She then took another girl in front of me which had me sitting there for another 40 min. When I finally got in the chair I had asked if it was ok for me to get acrylic back on top of my cracked nail, she said nothing. Maybe she didn't hear me but my friend repeated the question & still no response. Another lady finally chimed in & assured it would be fine. My friend then asked a another question & was ignored again. The tech after putting the acrylic on got up and said she had to run her daughter across the street to the mall. She then left. At this point my friend and I had felt we waited long enough, never got an apology for waiting & then she left again. So WE LEFT. used to be my fav place & now I will never return. This is my first time going to this place. I really liked it and I'm going to return in two weeks for my fillin. Sue did a good job on my nails. Where I been getting them done it was not done correctly. She spotted what was wrong with my nails and asked did I want her to fix it to go with my fingers. I told her yes please. This is the second time i have been here and the first time it was great. This time though i went in for a fill in and the lady took 2 HOURS to fill in my nails and grinded my nails down until they were red, and picked at the skin around my nails to the point where they bled, and charged me 30$ for it. Today was the worst pedicure I ever received.... Will definitely not be coming back unless Alex returns!!! The tech was unprofessional with having to stop every time her baby came from out the back. She nicked my foot serveral times!!! And on top of that I had to pay 28.00 for a massage with lotion while my feet were still wet!!!! I'm a nail tech and I hv been doing nails and pedicures for 18 yrs. Never ever hv I massaged someone's feet with oil or lotion while they were still wet!!! Will not return unless Alex comes back!!! My second time around..Family ran business, both times we went arguments occurred w/ family even though it's in another language it makes it uncomfortable.  I can only refer to our experiences.  We've had 4 different people do pedicures 3 out of 4 were good.  If there was no arguments in front of customers I'd rate them higher. They were awesome. My boyfriend and I both went in for pedicures. Not only were they professional but they did an awesome job and the salon itself is very clean. New place for him and I to have pedicure dates. :)... 2-3 weeks later and we are back! Same people did our toes Jimmy did mine and Alex, she did my boyfriend's. I have been to this business about six or seven times. Two of the times, the last two in fact, I have been clipped and cut. I love the nail tech but she got my cuticle too short and it bled. Then today the man cut the bottom of my foot and when I went to check out I asked for a discount. She took off $2.85 . Nope you didn't read that wrong. She took off 2.85. I was really disappointed and she was mad at me when I told her that I thought that was too little of a discount. I like this salon and I am disappointed in it too. I've been in Virginia 11 years and 2 years ago I finally found my nail home. This is a family run establishment and they make you feel at home. Mrs. Sue is the owner I go to her for eyebrows and she never disappoints. Amy is my nail tech and she is wonderful. I get gel on my own nails and she is the best! She is very versatile, pleasant and friendly. I actually enjoy going there to get my manicures and pedicures. They also have a nice point system set up for you to earn discounts.
