I've been going here for about two years now to see Ashlin. She is fabulous! I am always more than satisfied when I leave the salon. The prices are pretty standard. This isn't my usual salon, but I was having a crappy day and I live in the area so I thought I'd get a haircut. Luckily they were able to fit me in the same day. The inside is immaculate, beautifully arranged, and very stylish. I got a decent haircut, but I don't think I'll be back. I got the feeling that there was a lot of tension in the salon from some earlier argument. Nobody was small-talking, and my stylist didn't talk to me other than to briefly ask what cut I wanted and make sure I was ok with the length. When she finished my hair, she didn't ask if I liked it or if I wanted to change anything. To be fair, I didn't try to start a conversation with her either; she didn't seem particularly receptive to small talk. It just made for a very awkward time and though the finished product was ok, it really wasn't an enjoyable experience. Everyone has bad days, so I wouldn't count this place out if you're considering it. I just don't want to spend money someplace where they don't seem particularly happy to have me. Read Less

We love Allison!!! I have seen Allison for years and she has always done an excellent job with my hair. Specifically she is a GENIUS with color. Super cute location, and my friends and I were so excited to try it out. My stylist Sarah was wonderful! Unfortunately I'll never go back or refer my friends. They charged me double the normal cost due to my hair thickness. I know I have a lot of hair and that there is additional time needed but $80 for a blowout is absurd. I've been to blowout bars in DC, Richmond, Dallas and Miami, and have never been charged double. Not to mention they didn't address the extra fee beforehand to ensure I was ok with the cost. Love this salon!! I decided I was ready for a change after having long boring hair for too long! I made an appointment with Alison! She is super friendly and easy going! Easy to talk to. I showed her a picture of around what I wanted and she totally delivered!! I love my short cut! I think it's sassy and sporty!! I have gotten so many compliments!! I went in today for a trim and was early.. I was asked if I wanted something to drink while I waited!! You don't see customer service like that these days! It was so refreshing! The decor is fabulous.. Kind of shabby chic vibe. The whole staff is awesome! The prices are competitive and no one is in your face trying to push product on you.I totally recommend this salon!! I made an appointment at the salon due to recommendation from a friend. For a Saturday afternoon they sure were poppin! They were well accommodating for all the folks coming through, but it wasn't desolate in there like the regular walk-in hair cutters. Ashlynn, a young sandy-blonde, took care of me. She was as sweet as ever and listened to exactly what I wanted and ran with it. She matched the low-light colors to my current hair and recommended a subtle shade. When it came time for the cut she only took off "trim"-length and left the optional length up to me from there. Once she blew it out and styled it I couldn't believe how great it turned out. I was very happy with my new 'do and I made sure she knew that! She truly listened to me and picked up on my wants and my likes. The ladies at this salon are very friendly, accommodating and well versed in their craft. The salon itself is totally adorable - the decor, the feel.. Clean and chic! I'll surely return. Happy customer right here. Remember people: when getting your hair done there IS a difference between a "salon" and a chain. I'm not just talking about price but quality too. After a ton of looking around to find someone willing to work with me on my (what I learned was an unrealistic single step process) change from red to blonde, I found La Bella Chic Salon. They were willing to take me as a walk-in & see what they could do. Katie is absolutely amazing. I left, with the first step on my road to such a drastic change, completed. She surpassed what I was expecting & left me feeling confident that I found the right one. I can say, that after today, I don't want anyone else touching my hair.
