If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in and got my nails done only for them all to become chipped within the first week of having them done. I went in on a Saturday and then returned the following Saturday and advised the lady that did my nails that they had chipped. She in turn told me that it was because I type everyday. ABSOLUTE BS, I get my nails done all the time with the gel polish and this does not happen. she told me that she would fix it when she was done the pedicure that she was doing and I said ok then the lady who was sitting at her statin messed her nails up so I just told her that I would come back the following day which was Sunday. I went back and she told me to find the color (which I loved by the way) I could not find the color and for the sake of my time and hers I just choose a color. She took the chipped polish off and redid it after she was done she said just pay me 10.00 for the polish change. I asked her what was the 10.00 for she said well you choose a different color and I explained that I could not find the one I had and nor did she attempt to help me find it. I was LIVID I payed her the 10.00 and left but I will never go back to this salon again. The week prior when I came in to initially get my nails done there was a lady that came in with the same issue and she said you did my nails and they are all chipped and she denied doing her nails. Do not go here! The man that did my full set of acrylic nails did a terrible job. I honestly don't even know if he went to school to learn how to do nails, I really could have done a better job. I showed the shape that I wanted and he could not follow, every single nail had a different shape. He does not understand the liquid to powder ratio for acrylic nails either and made my nails so bulky, he also completely missed one side of my nail with the acrylic and did nothing to fix it until I asked him too. He also doesn't know how to paint nails either since the paint was thick and streaky. This is the second time I've been here. The first time I've been here I had my nails done and the woman was so sweet and did a great job. Today I thought I would give them a shot at waxing.. If i could give less then one star i honestly would. Waste of time and terrible customer service. I should've asked my 2yr sister to do my nails, she would've done better than whatever i got. I came in for a full set. I wanted a specific shape and the lady had to ask someone else to "help" her, but i know for a fact she couldn't do a full set. I'm not the person to write bad reviews but today was the worst experience I've EVER had! I went in for a gel manicure and the male tech ruined my nails!!! He asked what shape I wanted and I told him I wanted square and he ended up giving me a triangle shape! I asked for a female to finish my nails ! The lady keep apologizing and finished up so I walked out with one hand with UGLY LOOKING SHAPE!! But that's not all.. I got back to work and was looking into my bank account and I got charged TWICE!! I went back and informed them and they kept telling me they only charged me once I went to my bank got a letter to prove I got charged TWICE and still do NOTHING About it and they kept saying they couldn't do anything about it because MANAGER was not there. Honestly, I know that people just have one bad experience and get mad and complain but I think you should always experience something twice before making a decision. Literally... I can't express how awful of a place this is. I've been getting my nails done for years. They completely ruined my nails... my cuticles were cut and I had blood around 4 nails on top of unevenly shaped nails. I called and they told me to come back to fix it. They rudely addressed me when I went in, filed the nails a little bit, and said it was the best they could do and it looked fine. Would never go again no matter how cheap it is. Amazing nails in centreville is awesome (Lillian and Tiffany are my favorite)... and so is WOW nails in Fairfax (Nina is literally amazing). Read Less

I got gel French manicure  done there on Thursday evening and Friday night I saw my nail polish chipped. I don't know if it's the product quality they use but nail polish came off in less then 24 hours. And I called ahead of time to see how much they charge and I was told $30 but when I got receipt it was for $35. It's just 5 dollars so I didn't wanted to make a big deal and left. Read Less

I was trying to find a nail place close by and came here as a walk-in. I had stopped by another place across the street but they were charging more than the norm so I stopped in here. Located in a center in Centreville, next to Giant. Plenty of parking The place had a few other customers but were able to take me right away. The man at the counter asked me to choose my color and a lady sat me at the station.I wanted gel manicure. The lady was gentle and I liked the result of my gel manicure. I had gel manicure previously that needed to come off first. Usually they soak it before attempting to take it off but she started working on one hand before it was soaked. But it wasn't rough so I was fine with it.The gel manicure along with the take off was $30.Since it is conveniently located near where I live, I'll be returning here in the future for manicure/pedicure. Trish was awesome! she painted not only my nails but also my aunt and cousin all in one sitting. not only did she do all three of ours nails quickly but she did them all with precision and they were all painted perfectly. the whole process never felt rushed and she her time with all three of us. She was very nice and was easy to talk too. if anyone goes here they should ask for Trish! she's honestly the best. I didn't want to give this place any stars!!! This place was horrible from the moment I walked in the door. They never greeted me when I walked in, even though I made an appt. Finally someone asked me what I wanted and I told them I was there for a manicure and pedicure. The girl that did my pedicure was mad I think that she had to do my pedicure because it was 12:40 & she had an appt coming in at 1. She was rough and she cut me several times. When I would jump from the pain, she would jerk my toes and give me a hard, evil glare. I asked her to be easy but I don't think she understood me, because she never stopped being rough. Then she told me to go to her station she was doing my nails, I didn't think it would be as bad as the pedicure.I asked her to file them because they were crooked. She loudly said,"Later", so when she said she was almost done I asked her to file my nails a certain way and refused to file them the way I wanted (squared, with rounded edges) because she said it would look ugly. She tosses the nail file at me and says "you do it".I was in shock, then she proceeded to go off in Korean. I said," but I'm paying you to do my nails the way, I like them and you're refusing". She said, "you know more than me so you do it yourself". WHAT?? So I started doing my own nails!!! Needless to say I won't me back. If I would have seen the review I would have never gone, I went for a refill (acrylic nails) and went they were doing it they cut my finger and I had to ask the guy to give me some cotton because I was bleeding and he continued doing my nail, I didn't let him finish it I just pay and left without polish.Two hours later one of nail got broken.By the way: I don't even know if the clean or throw away the blower that he used when I was bleeding. First impressions are usually pretty accurate. This is no exception. Their site and door said they were open at 9, but when I got there at 9:52am they were still not open. I came in for a full set since it seemed to be hard to find someone to do this in centreville. I had a guy, who rolled in late like the others. I have had people rush. I have had people hurt my nails or fingers. But this guy's biggest performance flop was at the end. Confusion and a malfunctioning credit card reader problem left me with no other choice than to pay cash. After going through what felt like haggling with the guy in change back, I go outside into the natural light to see the horrible mess that was around my fingers and palm of my hand. This guy (no name tag) got glue everywhere on me. Really - knuckles, fingertips, cuticles. I also noticed that he was wiping off the color from the sides of my nails as he was painting (normal) but he was wiping it off him and on to the palm of my hand has he did so (WTF). He didn't have me wash my hands, didn't clean any cuticles or get dust off my arms and hands. He grabbed a big bottle of alcohol and sprayed me with it. not just nails, hands too. Then I was sent on my way. I cannot believe this guy got a $10 tip from me for a $30 manicure that was HORRIBLY done. I went to my trusted salon to have it fixed same day. Extremely disappointed. The lady was very nice and the establishment was very clean. I went in as walk in and got a manicure with French gel nail polish. My nails were not even and were filed at an angle. I politely had to tell her many times that they were slanted. I ended up having to ask for the nail file to fix a couple nails that would have looked really funny once painted. She did the right hand French tip slowly and showed me and it looked great, then the other hand she did quickly and put my hand under the UV light. I didn't get to see the left-hand until it was fully dry and it was sloppy. I would say it was a B- manicure. I am going to continue my search for a good nail tech but I would try this place again. I went in yesterday for the first time.  I moved to Centreville from Arlington a few months ago and have tried three places in this area which have all been bad experiences, ranging from not knowing how to do acrylic/gel nails to bad customer service.  I made an appointment with Trish the day before based on the many great things said about her on yelp.  I had an appointment at 2:30pm but arrived 15 minutes early as I always do, and I don't mind waiting.  She was still with her previous client when 2:30pm hit so her co-worker kindly guided me back to the pedi station to enjoy the massage chairs which were fantastic, and she hung up my jacket.  She finally got to me around 2:55pm, but I understand because I work as a hair stylist and you may run behind a bit in the business but it shouldn't be every time. Therefore I don't give myself a time limit at the nail salon.  I got a spa pedicure that was amazing from beginning to end, she knew me being a hair stylist I stand on my feet all day so I like a firm massage.  She painted my nails all the way to my cuticle and managed to not get any polish on my skin, which I liked of course.  Then, we went up front to her station so that she could begin my nails.  I was so tense because I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, I had been seeing the same lady for three years, so i was not use to trish's hands and movements.She did as I asked and my nails came out beautiful! I went to get a french manicure and pedicure for Prom. First, the lady who attended to me ridiculed my skin color because I am dark-skinned and not fair. I may not speak fluent Korean, but I have enough Korean-speaking friends to know she was talking about me poorly right in front of my face and laughing and pointing at my skin as she spoke. When asked how I would like it to be done, I exclaimed my interest of something similar to the fair-skinned girl sitting next to me. However, it would cost extra for me. Then, we sat down to do my nails, which I had to figure out on my own because they just leave you sitting there in the 'spa chair' as if you're a regular and know the routine. I asked a simple question about the prices to be certain of what I was paying and she immediately got defensive and said the manager would even back her up. She then went on to attack my educational level and questioning if I had ever gotten my nails done before. My one regret was not getting up and walking out.
