I have had gel manicures and spa pedicures here. I tried a couple of other salons in the area but I find this one the cleanest and friendliest. They have a fantastic selection of polishes, and they'll take the time to help you pick one or match a shade if you have a photo of what you want. Once when I accidentally messed up one of my nails when it wasn't quite dry, they were happy to fix it and they do not make you feel rushed at all. I recently had a gel acrylic fill done here, and I'm happy to say that I think I've found my new nail place! I made an appointment with Lee herself, and she made my nails look so beautiful and natural. She was really gentle with filing my acrylics down as well, which is important to me since my nails are sensitive. She has a great selection of the 2017 fall OPI gel colors, which is great. A couple of days later, my gel manicure started to chip (which I have never, ever had happen) and I gave Lee a call and she said she'd fix it. I went into the salon and even though she was busy with another customer, she was able to fix it right up, free of charge!! She's wonderful and very sweet. She listens to what you want! Go here! I live 7 minutes away and was too lazy to drive to Springfield to get a mani/pedi done. This place is pretty affordable and tucked away in a nice location which doesn't make it overly crowded. I was pleasantly surprised by the color selection there and the prices too. I felt super comfortable and was incredibly impressed by the pedicure. Went here for the first and last time in June 2017 with a friend.   Had a regular pedicure done, as did my friend.  We did not have an appointment, but were able to be taken right away.  The technician did an ok job. Not the best, nor the worse,  I actually would of come back to her, but.... another regular customer of hers came in for a manicure while the technician was finishing up with me.  The technician grabbed her tools she was using on my feet and used them with this regular customer, without sterilizing them.  EEEEEWWWWWWW. This place was great! Tina did a great job cutting all my cuticles on my nails (more than some are willing to cut). I called first, and they also took me last minute 30 mins before closing for a mani/pedi. I did the gel shellac and they offered free touch up if my nails chip. They also did my nails and toes at the same time which I loved cause I don't like to spend a lot of time getting my nails done. It was a quick in and out service but also very friendly ladies. I would recommend this place! They did a great job and did not rush at all but still had me out quickly. Lee worked at the front desk and also helped with my toes as well and also did a great job. I went to Lee's Nail & Hair today with the gift card my husband purchased for me for Mother's Day. I had Kristine has my nail technician, and I couldn't be happier. She was so friendly and enjoyable to talk to. My pedicure turned out exactly as I wished. She also did my eyebrows perfectly, which I was a bit apprehensive about since sometimes technicians make them so tiny. I will be back to ask for Kristine. Highly recommended! Read Less

Was taken care of immediately by K**. She removed my old set to replace them with fresh tips. She worked efficiently and didn't say much except to speak to her coworkers. My biggest complaint is that she shaped the nails on my right hand exactly as I asked her to, but on my left hand she shaped my pinky and ring finger but left the rest of the hand as it was. The funny thing is that I had brought the left hand to her attention earlier in the service and she told me she was going to fix it then she half-assed it. She did two coats of the polish I had requested but there are still gaps in the polish which she did not fix. As a waitress pretty hands are important and I always tip my nail techs at least 20% but even the edges of the work were sloppy. I won't say that I'll never be back but I'd rather pay the price at the mall for better than what I got here. The establishment is well maintained and the staff is plesant. But that didn't quite cut it for me.Update: The salon owner contacted me privately and offered me a fresh service and I can't say how pleased I am with that. I don't know how to rate because if you are looking to get your nails done this is a 5++. Whether a manicure or pedicure, it is all amazing!! But unfortunately of hair is what you areLooking for this is NOT the place to go. My daughter wanted a trim and to color her tips. First, she did not know how to cut hair because my daughter has straight shoulder length hair and needed a trim, I have not see anything that uneven since my cousin cut mine when we were 15! The color tech didn't advise her at all on what colors would and wouldn't work with her brown hair so after hours of coloring you couldn't even see any color!! The owner did offer for us to come back and redo it after our vacation but we never had a chance.  I hate to do bad reviews, but people should know when they are going in, especially color and cut. I don't plan too far in advance for the little things in life, such as nails, hair, massage.   When i called my usually nail salon for a same day appt, they had one slot available and it didn't work for me.  Lucky, I love Yelping...so I checked around my hood for the closest nail place with raving reviews!  The name is deceiving and the address was familiar.   This little establishment is behind the 7-11 on Burke Road.  They used to be called Danielle's Hair and had large hair salon with one pedi chair.  Upon walking in, I was amazed to see that they had actually renovated the place.  Nails are the primary and hair is secondary.  Off to the side were banks of pedi stations.  There are also a couple of rows of mani stations.  When you walk in, you can select from an array of regular or gel polish.  Christina was my technician and she was SO nice.  Their pedi prices range from basic($25) to full spa with add-ons ($55).  I splurged.   It was so nice to get a clay mask and hot stone with my pedi.  Lee worked on my 4th of July designs and she was precise.There was no rushing a pedi here.  The prices are comparable to my old location.  This place is 3-5 minutes from my home. I absolutely love this place... After a terrible experience across the street... I was so glad I didn't have to travel far to find a new nail salon.I've only seen Christine since I've been coming here and she is a gem. Very sweet and through with her manicures and pedicures. I also get my eye brows done by her and she always makes sure they're perfect.The ambiance is not too bad... They also have a hair salon so it can be a little noisy but I don't mind it. They always offer water or tea while you're getting your services done. There's also a large flat screen tv for entertainment.All in all this is a great place if you're looking for a good mani pedi! Under new management!I followed Lee to her new location.  This tells you a lot since i live in Reston.  She is a amazing lady.  Does a fabulous job on nails....Of course they still do hair..... Okay so why am I traveling from Reston to Burke.... I started going to Lee when she was at a nail only salon in Springfield.  My bff thought it was time I kick my habit of nailing biting and that acrylic nails with tips is what I needed.  I commented I had tried this a couple of times but the acrylic would pop off.  She assured me if Lee did them they wouldn't and she was soooooo right.  That's over a year ago.  I have fabulous nails and the acrylic stats put even with me still putting my fingers in my mouth out of habit.  After I had them grown out I started going to places closer to me...., hummmmm the acrylic popped off..... I don't know why what she does work but it's magic and it works..... She doesn't appear to do anything different than other folks..., and yet my acrylic stays on.... Polish lasts..... Let's travel to Lee.About a month ago I found that she had moved to this new location.  And she is now the owner.... Or maybe her hubby is but it doesn't matter.  It's Lee and for my nails I am happy to go where she is.This location also does hair.  While I didn't have mine done I was watching the lady there this morning who was working hair.  She first washed and styled a older lady who appeared to be a regular.  Loved how she skillfully chatted about the changes in her hair and what she was doing to make it appear fuller.  Her next client was a short trim.  She appeared very skillful in her razor cutting technique.  My apologies for not getting her name.Lee did a remodel of the location.  The 2nd lady who got her trim is a regular and commented how nice everything looked .  Since I didn't see the place prior to Lee it appeared it was a much needed upgrade in chairs, tables, and supplies.Not sure how many employees.... I saw the front three stylists chairs all had licenses on the mirrors.... Not sure about the other three stations.  The nail area is setup for 6 technicians as well with additional seating for pedicures.I'm thrill Lee is at this new location as its a bit easier for me to get to.  Highly recommend her for nails! I visited this salon for the first time yesterday and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming. My pink-and-white nails look amazing thanks to Lee, who is professional, extremely detail-oriented and very accommodating to all of my "preferences" (YES--I can be very picky!!). Christine did a fantastic job on my French pedicure. She was also friendly and professional, and interested in making sure my nails look exactly the way I liked. I had a lengthy... and very relaxing spa pedicure with Christine and my feet and legs felt amazing afterwards (definitely worth the few extra dollars to get the spa pedicure – – the massage/scrub and hot towels feel awesome!). Also enjoyed the brand-new massage chair I had the enjoyment of sitting in during my pedicure. I will definitely be visiting again in two weeks, for my next nail appointment.
