I am BEYOND disappointed and upset. I am 8 months pregnant and went to go do something nice for myself and got dipped powdered nails elsewhere and they turned out beautifully. I picked dipped powdered nails because they are supposed to be easy to get taken off and don’t ruin your nails. So when it was time to get them removed, I decided to go across the street to this nail salon to get them removed. She quoted me $10 which I figured was fair. She sat me down and started ripping them off. I thought “this is weird..” but didn’t want to say anything until the third nail in when she ripped my whole real nail off causing it to bleed. She said sorry and went to continue with the other nails. I stopped her and said “don’t you guys soak them or something.” She said it would take more time... which I was MORE than okay with if that meant not ripping my nails off. When she was finally done, she sent me to the front to pay. Mind you, she had to GLUE my nail down because she ripped it off and is still charging me the $10. I know it’s not much money.... but they ruined my nails. Now, I can’t even get my nails done before the baby is born because it will rip the rest of this nail off. I am currently sitting in the car crying (mind you, I’m 8 months pregnant) while writing this. I will NEVER be back to this place again. I would spend your money elsewhere. I came home with bleeding nails. I came here with my friends before homecoming and I have to say I had never had this happen to me before. The lady was super nice at first but as she was doing my nails she filed the WAY too short almost as if she was trying to make them even to the shortest nail. It hurt a lot but I didn't say anything because at that moment I couldn't see them and I thought it was normal because I Haven't had my nails done in like 4 years. Then when she was picking off my cuticles she picked it off WAY to much and it hurt. Then my nails started bleeding because she picked too much skin off and she STILL kept picking and filing my nails. Then when My mom told her this at the end she didn't say sorry she kept making excuses. :( never going back here again and my nails will thank me for it. Just hope I don't get an infection. Been getting my monster ugly feet taken care of by Tee for the last couple of months and couldn't be happier. She does the full Monty including leg and foot massage. I've been here a couple times since I moved into the area and have always had good experiences! First off, the salon is very clean and relaxing. The prices are good, especially for the quality of services. They have always done a great job on my mani & pedis here. I've brought friends in and they all said the same and left happy with their nails. The pedicures actually do come with a good massage and it is never skipped over! I tried 3 different people and they all did a great job on my nail polish, which has lasted up to 2 weeks! Overall, this is my favorite spot to go to and I'm so happy I found them! I'd recommend making an appointment if you can because they get busy often (which I assume is because others have found this hidden gem as well)! Read Less

I've been in the NOVA area for about 5 years. I've tried SEVERAL nail salons only to be disappointed by the quality, wait time, or how long the polish lasts. I've been going to Nail Design for 2 years and I WILL NOT go anywhere else. The staff is nice, the facility is clean, and I ALWAYS love how my nails turn out (I'm constantly getting complemented on them). I get gel polish on my natural nails and they last 3-4 weeks. I only entrust my nails to Tee...SHE'S AMAZING! I get a gel manicure and can be in and out in 45 mins to an hour. I always make an appointment and never have to wait longer than 5 mins, but 9 times out of 10 she starts as soon as I walk in the door. I wanted to give this place a chance, but I should have never come here to get my eyebrows done! The lady "cleaned up" my eyebrows by making one thinner and higher than the other one. I have never seen anyone mess up eyebrows this badly. There is no room to fix them because she made it so high up on my face. My eyebrows naturally curve and right now they look like a straight line. Fair warning to everyone, just go to the mall or your regular salon. I am appalled with what just happened to me. Read Less
