This is the third time giving them a try after telling myself I wouldn't come back. I cannot believe that I gave them another chance.  Even after I was cut TWICE (once by the man & once by the woman..this seems to be an unfortunate pattern based on another Yelper's review...), I came back b/c I'm cheap.  Yes, I'm a fool.  Not anymore.  They used to be $18, but are now up to $25...the same as any of the other dime a dozen nail salons in every strip mall in Richmond.  The polish was obviously VERY old as it was dang near "chunky" & (of course..duh!) peeled off w/in days.  Not worth the potential staph infection.  The reason for the second star...b/c I'm a sucker & I feel sorry for them??? Love love love this place and all the staff! The owners are different from the Luxury Nails location on 83 in Elmhurst. So no affiliation! Sooooo much better than the one in Elmhurst. It is truly a family business. Never once a bad experience here. Just fantastic!! Read Less

Every time I go there everyone is so friendly. There is never more than a 5 min wait if that long. You need to really come here and when u do ask for PETER and tell him Sharon sent you. You will not be disappointed!!!! Read Less

I hate to leave a bad review because they seemed nice enough but it really was the worst pedicure I've had in Richmond. The salon and chairs have not been updated since I'm guessing the early 90s. The whole place smelled so strong (like mothballs) that I got a headache.  The technician cut my toe. I ran home and put antiseptic on it because he used tools out of a crinkled old ziplock bag.  The "massage" portion was 15 sec per leg of rubbing with a stone; I'm not exaggerating the time.  Then the polish... It looks like I did it myself and no topcoat or anything was applied. The lady in the chair next to me made her technician fix her polish three times and exclaimed that it looked like her 10 year old did it.  I did not have the patience for that due to the smell and just wanted out at that point. I asked for a gel manicure, but the man didn't seem to understand me, so all he did was apply the polish. He didn't do anything to my cuticles. You can go anywhere else in Richmond and get an actual manicure with cuticle treatment and at the least an application of hand lotion for $5 more. The polish wasn't well applied, and two hours later it looks like the polish is several days old because my cuticles weren't done. They don't have the color palettes so you can select your gel color, so I had to open each bottle to see what color they were. I changed my mind about getting a pedicure while I was there, and the lady employee was very pushy about it to try to convince me to change my mind. Another customer asked for help while the man was applying the polish and instead of telling her to hold on a second, he didn't even look at her and just said, "Wait. WAIT." I am a hairstylist and I know how IMPORTANT customer service is.... One of my many trips to Robious Nails the were two nail techs in there who decided to have an arguement in front of me and several other customers who were in there to relax and treat thereselves. They were argusing in there language however arguements are pretty apparent when there voice tones keep growing.. You can tell NO matter what language they speak that it was heated... I emded up sending a note to the owner and it got no where. She did however fire the girl... I would NEVER suggest this place nor will I go back either!Read Less

Rude and disrespectful! I took my elderly Mom there to get her nails done and the manicurist was HORRIBLE to her, made her feel like a second class citizen, criticized her disabilities, actually had the coldheartedness to complain about them-loudly! What kind of person much less a business treats a person with such rudeness. Shame on this business! Read Less

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND POOR!!! I took my mother, daughter and, myself to the salon for a ladies night out, I went earlier in the day and was impressed with the outcome of my full set so, I decided to bring the girls day. Upon arriving I was told that I would only be able to pay cash only because they are only allowed to swipe a card once a day. After I returned with cash at hand they proceeded with our services. 3 pedicures and 2 manicures. My feet came out nice however my mother and my daughter's services were not up to parr. There wasnt an application of a top coat on my daughters nails which chipped off in less than 5 days. My mothers mani and pedi was extremely gritty and she returned the next day after things completely dried and showed them the work. It was obvious the grit was from not cleaning off the nails after buffing. All she asked for was a repaint and they refused to do that or give the monies back. They were exceptionally rude after they were confronted with the poor work, told my child to shut up, told my mother that her nails had a fungus because she was very sick in her body and, that she was crazy to ask for a refund or repaint. POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. That that was the best they could do. I wouldnt visit this shop if u paid for services for the rest of my life. I later took them to have the services redone at the shop the I usually visit and the nails couldnt have come out any better. Read Less

What a horrible, horrible place this is. The manager is so rude, and openly admits thathe does not care about whether customers come or not. worse, he is totally ot competent, ruining nails and accusing the customers! Bad, bad service, and I feel sorry for the poor owner, who does not know what is going on in his shop. Never go therw and save your money! Read Less
