So today was my second time going to this place. I tried a few of the other places in town trying to find a special place to go and get my nails done on a regular basis. The first time I went I loved it the gentleman did a beautiful job on a wonderful full set and the woman working on the pedicures did a wonderful job as well. Now I always believe in order to fairly review someone I need to visit more than once. So for an early Valentine's Day gift my husband wanted to take me to get my nails done. Now comes why I rated this Poor/ Fair. I was the only person in there for about 75% of my visit to this nail shop. The lady who did my pedicure was friendly and did a very professional and wonderful job. My only complaint was that they didn't give ample time for my toenails to dry before telling me I could roll my pants leg down so my big toes toe nail polish got ruined and no one fixed it. Now on to the real travesty, my full set. As I sit here typing my nails just about all hurt. Three of my nails have open scratches from a Dremel Tool going over sensitive skin. Under both my thumbs I have open gashes where a combo of glue and acrylic dried and then was ripped away from a sloppy and quick job (I have no idea why like I said I was there only customer for the most part). Almost all of my nails look bulky on one side and normal on the other. The gentleman working on my nails also seemed to get rather frustrated with me when I refused to get white tips because I didn't want them and he kept insisting then told me the color I was originally going to get was "blah" so I got a color that was my second choice. Then when I said I wanted to get my tips painted the same color as my toes and he sort of rolled his eyes at me. Now on to the best part, the drying machine was broken so I say with a fan blowing at them and a desk lamp shining on them till they were "dry". Once all that was done he sprayed some drying spray on them and told me they were dry. My husband paid and out the door we went. I stuck my hand in my pocket once to get my keys and all my nails polish from my "dry nails" came off. Do yourself a favor go to DK Nails in the Wal-Mart shopping center. That will be where I will be going back to. You may pay $5 more but if it means my fingers won't be bleeding and my nails will actually get dry it is better than paying $45 when I was told $40 to get my skin torn apart and paint my own nails when I got home.
