I have used this salon before and had other good experiences. However, it had been a while (moved back into the area) so I decided to try them again. It was pretty busy, but nothing unusual for a Saturday afternoon. The oddities began when I started playing musical chairs. Okay, whatever, I moved three time. Not that big of a deal. After painting my nails, the lady swung her head around and her hair brushed my nails. I pointed this out and she wanted to argue at first. Then she looked closer and realized "something" had happened; still would not agree that it was her hair. She fixed my nails and then sat me under the dryer for 15 minutes. When the timer buzzed she told me I could leave. As I grabbed my car keys, my polish peeled. Again, she fixed the polish and sat me for 10 minutes under the dryer, all while scolding me about how I should have taken my keys out before. I sat longer than the timer (about 15 more minutes, so 30 all together) and finally left. I got home and my polish kept peeling and denting, even after being home about an hour. I called and the lady I talked to said to come back and let her fix them. So, another 10 minute drive for more crappy polish? I don't think so. I drove the 10 minute drive back to the salon and just asked for my money back. The man, I believe hos name is Dong, told me that services were already rendered and that I should have just got gel polish instead. Gel is more expensive and I'm on a super tight budget. He told me to pick out another color. Well, my child was at my grandmother's house and I absolutely had no more time to devote to my nails anymore. This had already taken most of my afternoon between driving back and forth plus the whole salon experience. He told me to come back next week. I don't think I will. Two other women walked out with me after they heard the way he talked to me. I never raised my voice. I never demanded anything. All I wanted was fair treatment and the other customers saw that. I do not write reviews. It takes up to much of my time. But if you are a busy, working, mother and want to enjoy a little worry-free time to yourself, then may I suggest Aloha Nails on main?Read Less
