I used to go here all the time and received incredible customer service. Actual reflexology, fantastic nail care, fair prices. I think the staff has changed drastically as of late. It's very sad. The last time I went in this woman tore my feet to shreds. I took my mom for her birthday. We even got one of the fancy more expensive pedicures that was supposed to include more massage. The woman I had scrubbed the front of my feet with her hands until they turned red. She literally never touched the bottom of my feet once. The hot towels burned my legs and the overall feeling was that they were going so quickly that they didn't care to do a good job. On top of everything, two of the employees started screaming across the salon at each other for a solid 5 minutes and no one bothered to stop them. If you plan to head to a nail salon now that a place like this: Terrible. I went there today and the lady who did, or tried to do, my manicure was terrible. She was doing my nails with one hand and facebooking with the other. Then, another costumer, who looked like her friend, started a conversation. She stopped her job to show her something on her cellphone. Later she left and came back with a regular nail polish and put it on top of the gel polish...when she realized, she started apologizing and her friend (costumer) screamed... Overpriced! Terrible job on gel manicure.  I had to come and get it redone within a week. The lady that redid them was rude and did a horrible job (didn't get a name because she wasn't wearing a name tag). Even after I told her i was getting my nails done for a special event, she proceeded to rush my mani and pedi. Do not go here!! Me my daughter and mother in law went in for manicure pedicures for mothers day. The woman who did my nails was rude along with the other ladies all they did was speak in a different language and laugh. Girl who did my mother in laws manicure cut her cuticle so low that it is now infected! My gel set has completely fallen off and its only been 2 days!!! They way overcharged us as well. I came here many times with my girl friend(s) and we enjoy it very much. Customer care there is wonderful and I recommend Lyn to do your nails, she's great at it. Usually on weekends this place is packed, but they will try their best to get me a reservation. You get exactly what you want with the price your paying. This place is amazing! My nails look great. There's not a single thing about my nails that I don't like. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. I don't have to always tell them which nails needs to be fixed because they would recognize the mistake before I do! The person I always go to is Lynn; she does the best designs and always take her time to perfect my nails. And Sophia always does my toes and she's amazing at it. They always and every manicure with wax, lotion, and a short massage. I don't get why some people had bad experiences with this place. My gel manicure has lasted for about a month at the most. The thing about gel manicure is that it lasts long only if you don't pick at it or get into rough works. That is a huge factor to maintaining your gel nails. Ladies, the one thing I've learn is to not do anything that will loosen the gel on your nails. Anything close to giving off friction against your gel nails will potentially loosen or ruin the gel, making it easier for it to come off. Read Less

I have been going to this place regularly. Yesterday, when I got a gel manicure I felt a sharp sting or burn sensation while curing my nails. I thought it would be nothing but when I got home , I started feeling my finger warmer than the rest. Long story short --- my finger got burned during the curing . Right now, my finger is full of blisters and the pain is acute. Either the technician was not trained well to apply the products or the UV Rays were too strong snd not set properly. Either way, a manicure should NEVER be painful and leave you blisters!!! Not should it burn your skin!!!! I have to go to the clinic and make sure there won't be any infections. I am so disappointed since this  was my go-to place. Never again!!! I hope people read this review and stop going there. I would love my money back. Read Less

I'm going to agree with the other "I wish I could leave 0 stars" reviews.The "manicure" I got from Lynn itself was fine. It looks ok, although she did the bare minimum; literally only touching my nail beds... no wax, no lotion, nothing. She did cut my fingers a few times as well, but nothing too serious.The customer service was the absolute worst. She had a very annoyed look on her face the entire time, she made no effort to have any conversation with me but decided to speak to her coworkers in Vietnamese instead and even played on her cell phone at one point. She pulled out the machine for a gel manicure and when I told her I did not want a gel manicure, she rudely asked, "Why would you say gel if you didn't want it?" I replied back that I didn't ask for gel, I asked for a French manicure.After applying all of her coats of polish, she told me to be careful and only asked if I wanted to stay for a minute for it to dry when I had a dumbfounded look on my face because I have never been kicked out of a salon like that before.The kicker? I left a negative review on Facebook and she made a point to send me a private message asking me why I left a bad review on her work Facebook at 2 in the morning. She went on to talk about how her cousin was a mutual friend of ours, and how no one had never said anything bad about her before. When I told her I wasn't going to change my review, she told me she "didn't mind" the review because "everyone knows how her customer service is" from her clients in Ashburn.I politely told her to check the reviews on Yelp and to stop messaging me on Facebook because it was 100% unprofessional. Have been here probably 5 times now, and am generally pleased with the pedicures and/or gel manicures. I don't have a dedicated person, so each time it's been someone different and Im overall happy. PROS - consistent results, always offer a drink, enjoy the parafin wax treatments, clean and pretty salon. Not sure about other people's experiences, but today while I was there the staff greeted every single person who entered quickly and politely.CRITIQUES - once or twice I felt rushed to pick a color, so I just started coming earlier to look slowly through the selection. Today I noticed my nails weren't shaped as nicely as last time, but that's my bad because she did ask several times if it was okay and I was distracted.CAVEAT - I'm pretty uncomplicated with what i want - always French gel manis, and single color pedicures.Overall definitely recommend. I don't want to sound petty but this place sucks. The interior is pretty however the results are not. I went in to get some acrylic nails and they were applied crooked and lifted within a week. The lady who applied my nails was on the phone the whole time which I honestly would not have minded if she hadn't been in such a rush to get me out of the salon. She also butchered my cuticles with the electric drill file, which was very painful and bled later in the evening. Save your money and go to a better salon. Read Less

This place is one of the best of not the best nail salon I have been to in a while. The staff is always courteous and I always leave happy. I always see Lynn for my nails and I have to say she is hands down the best nail artist I have ever been to. I went here to get a manicure before a trip and although the experience was decent, the manicure was not. Not to mention the way they handle payment is just plain sketchy. While my nails were drying I looked at them only to notice that the edges of my nails on at least 3 nails were not covered in polish. Not to mention that the two coats she put on looked only like 1 coat. I asked if she could redo two of my nails (didn't want to ask for a whole new manicure which was needed) but she did the same thing again (Unfortunately I don't have pics). Within 2 days my nails were completely chipped and ruined. Maybe it was because I got the basic manicure. Another factor to consider was my color choice which could have affected how dark/long it lasted. But I've had lighter colors look better and last longer. I wish she would have put another coat for the sake of making my nails look decent.My biggest complaint is that they ask to charge you BEFORE the service...which did not make me feel good about the place...I don't know of any other services that charge you before they are completed, so this is pretty questionable...They also wouldn't run my card again for a tip (since it was under $10 and I wasn't going to tip before the service) so I was forced to walk to Harris teeter and buy a $2 lip glass to get $5 in cash for a tip (under $15 manicure so this was more than enough). If you are looking for an inexpensive, decent experience sort of nail salon, this is it. But if you want a good manicure that lasts longer than 2 days this isn't for you. Got a pedicure here yesterday and loved it! I needed some pampering after the winter, and this place delivered. There was so much included for a very good price- paraffin treatment, scrub, long calf and foot massage, the whole shebang.I will say that the woman that gave me the pedicure did spend some time on the phone and spent most of the time chatting with the other people working there, so I wouldn't call this a relaxing spa pedicure. But I had my book with me and honestly don't care about the "attention" I get as long as the facilities are clean and I'm happy with the service. Read Less

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews. I love this place. They do great work. They are always friendly and accommodating. It's clean and comfy in there. I have been to several other places in town who charge 20-30 dollars more then Tiffanys and are not even close to the quality.  Last night Madaline did my full set gel. They look and feel awesome. I would give zero stars if I could. The people here are SO incredibly rude. As soon as you walk in they rush you to pick your color if you don't hurry they will keep pestering you to pick and if you don't hurry any faster they will scoff and make rude comments in Vietnamese. Oh yes, I am Vietnamese and I understand every last word. I walked out. This place will not be getting any of my service or any from my friends and family and everyone and anyone they know. I would rather pay less or even more at a salon down the street and get better quality and better customer service. It's sad that my first impression of this place is so negative. The ONLY place I will trust doing my pedicure. I get pedicures fairly regularly and I have been going here for years. They are always quick to take me back, massage my feet/legs for a long time, use a parafilm wax (which is so nice) and my toenail polish always lasts for so long. Two days before my wedding, I had main an appointment at another nail salon for my 4 bridesmaids, jr. bridesmaid, mom, mom's friend, flower girl, and myself (because they offered a cheaper price) and-long story-we ended up leaving halfway through and going to Tifffany's. We walked in with all 9 of us (carrying champagne bottles and me crying after having been arguing with the owner at the other nail salon) and Tiffany's took us IMMEDIATELY. They brought cups for the champagne we brought, kept telling me congratulations, were SO friendly. It made my wedding experience all the better!I will always be a lifetime customer at Tiffany's.
