I visited this salon based on good reviews and the fact that they consider themselves upscale. I scheduled an appointment for SNS nails. The customer service was great, no complaints there. My nail tech was very nice and welcoming. While she was dipping my nails, they looked really good. She sanded them down and put on a top coat, still looked great! I thought that would be the end of it. After they looked like they were done, she dipped them again into a white powder and put another top coat on them. Didn't sand the white powder or anything. After this, I could see they didn't look right but trusted her judgment anyway. She also cut two of my cuticles with the machine while she was sanding my nails. You can see the white powder just sitting on top of my nails, it looks almost as if I got a sparkly color when the color I chose had no sparkles whatsoever. Definitely feel I wasted money and probably won't go back here or get SNS nails again. I've watched several YouTube and Instagram videos of the SNS process and have not seen a nail tech use the white powder after the nails are done, as the nail tech did here. Read Less

This place can be a hit or miss. My sister in law has sensitive skin and likes getting her face waxed here. The Mani pedis are a hit or miss. The women definitely do a better job then the men. Go on a Sunday afternoon when they aren't busy. Once they are busy they make you feel rushed. As with any salon they push their higher priced pedicures and gel manis but get the point that you don't want it. They are clean and don't have stale old equipment. Atmosphere is nice. Read Less

I never do yelp reviews, but I figured I should write one after this service. I came here after hearing great things about this salon and came out wanting to never go back. First of all, I wanted a French manicure and the guy doing my nails (I didn't catch his name) told me my nails were too short, which would've been understandable but I have gotten a French manicure with the same length before. I then chose a light color for the dipping powder (it was my first time getting having it done) and it was fine until the end when he put a hot rag over my nails and messed them all up. He had to redo 4 of the nails twice and then sent me home with messed up nails anyways. This was definitely not worth $50 and I will not be returning. Read Less

I love coming to this salon! All of the techs (especially Tony!) do such a great job and really take care of your nails. They are also one of the only salons in the area that offers SNS, which is a manicure containing vitamins to help your nails grow strong- so much better than gel and acrylic! This was the BEST nail experience I've had in my entire life! They are super clean and hygienic, which is a must for me. They really took their time understanding what I wanted, as I'm high maintenance when it comes to my nails, and executed PERFECTLY! Trish is the absolute sweetest and a true nail master. They did a pretty good job. It is clean inside and located by tons of fun restaurants. Not too pricey and not too cheap. One downside is you can pay with a card but you cant tip on a card so you need to bring cash with you. Read Less

Just moved from the west coast and haven't gone to any other nail salon in 20 years. However, just moved to VA and read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try this place out. I must say, not only did I try a new salon, but I tried SNS and changed the shape to coffin. I went big...and I am so thrilled that I did! I am extremely satisfied with the results. Tony & Jessica are amazing!  They take their time and are very thorough.  This place is very immaculate.  Only spa that I have seen who puts plastic coverings over their foot baths.  Even their massage oil and hot paraffin is distributed single-use only.  No cross contamination...  come check this place out and see for yourself.  I would highly recommend it! This nail salon is amazing. I do the SNS dipping which has allowed my nails to grow and strengthen so much that I no longer need tips. It does not chip or lift and lasts about 3-4 weeks. I came into the salon after reading reviews about new management and better service. There were glowing reviews about Trisha so I made my appointment with her, and those reviews turned out to be completely right! I got a gel (or shellac maybe?) manicure done. She took so much time actually perfecting my cuticles and nails before starting with the polish, which you don't see at a lot of salons. She also did a holographic nail, which I've never seen in any salon in the Loudon County area yet, and a free-handed design for me!There are just a few minor complaints I have. I wasn't offered any drinks, but I heard clients around me being offered them. The manicure also did take a lot of time, but honestly it was completely worth it for the quality of the service and the end product! They have dip nails as well, and they have a pedicure chair that's walled off if you like a bit of privacy. This is my new go-to salon in the Ashburn area for Trish's amazing service! Read Less

I have gone here since they 1st opened. In the beginning everyone did a great job no matter which technician did my nails. The downside was that they were extremely slow and unprofessional. I stopped going when my technician stopped my manicure to Skype her friend. Who does that?? Well, I received a flyer saying that In style was under new mangement, and since they are so close to my house, I  decided to give them another try. The manager is very friendly, but manicures are hit or miss no matter who you go to. I can't speak on pedicure services because the one time I asked for a pedi, two workers argued about whether or not they had time to do it as my water basin was being filled. I had to walk out because at that point it was really uncomfortable. Not a place I would highly recommend, but they are good if you are not looking for anything amazing. Read Less

Went here on a whim because I was over due for a polish change at least and seeing the raving reviews, I thought that was a good idea. I was totally wrong. Granted the last place I went to for my nails did paint the polish thicker than usual ( I have gel) but the nail tech that did my nails soaked them again and again, which is normal since the polish was thick soaking them didn't help that much. She started peeling them off by hand which hurt so I asked her if she could use the machine. She responded that since it was gel polish, they don't use it. Ended up taking a lot of the top layer of my nails off and made it super sensitive and weak to the point where I couldn't stand having polish on. I later had to take it off and couldn't wear anything on my nails for about two weeks. I wish i had a better experience since this is super close to my house and was pricey. Read Less

I love , love, love this nail salon ! Everyone is so welcoming and attentive to your needs. I had been going to a nail salon in Herndon and quite frankly I had grown tired of the commute. I went on Yelp and found this nail salon closer to my home that had high marks and researched a bit further and found Trisha. I am so glad I did. She is a nail tech who takes pride in her work and never rushes. She loves to do designs as you can see on the posted pictures by other clients. Last but definitely the key to any great technician is her work quality is consistent. Now to be fair to the other  nail techs there, my daughter has gone to the gentleman that works there and  I've observed also the work of others all of which do a great job too. If your looking for a place close to your home w/ great service give them a try! I think they will quickly become your go to spot as well. Read Less

I really wanted to like this place. When I got there I was told it would be 30 minutes which I didn't have a problem with. One lady started my gelManicure and someone else showed up to finish it and it was not a good manicure. I hd to point out one nail with an a virus lump on it. When I left I had gel polish on the tips of every one of my fingers (not on the nail). On several nails the gel is hitting my cuticle so I expect that to peeling off within days!! I spent 20 minutes picking gel off of my fingers and still have it in cuticles and sides of nails. Two nails weren't even shaped properly and are crooked. I regret giving a tip - I shouldn't have.
