Awful customer service! The manager Hana was very rude and rejected to give a service because they never have available open appointments even a month before. This is a very friendly and nicely maintained Spa and Salon. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and I felt very comfortable and well taken care off. I came here for eyelash extensions. The first time I had Nina doing my extensions and then Mimi did the refills. Nina was very friendly and explained me the procedure and how to take care of my lashes. However, she was not very careful when gluing the extensions, she used a lot of pressure and got glue into my eyes, which left my eyes red for about 4 days (I got some good natural eye drops that helped). I thought this is normal or my eyes are very sensitive but when I came to Mimi for the refill I learned that it can be done much softer and more carefully. Sit down ladies and gentlemen, boy do I have a story for you. I purchased a Groupon for partial highlights, olaplex treatment, haircut & blow dry. I was extremely because I knew this salon was in a great area and had top stylist but man was I wrong!! I wanted dark red highlights. He told me in order to achieve this color he would need to use toner and because my hair was long there would be an additional fee. I understood the extra charge for the length but there was no mention extra charge for the toner. My Groupon cost $75 but I ended up paying $155. Ridiculous. After the color and toner I noticed that there were parts that were bright blonde and not red at all. The top part of my hair was red and the bottom had streaks of blonde. I was upset but he told me not to wash my hair for a few days and it would all blend together. I did exactly what he said but when I washed my hair three days later it was even worse I called the salon and told them my concerns and they told me to come in for a second appointment. When I sat down he was like "so what's the problem". I said it was pretty self explanatory my hair was all shades of orange and blonde and I wanted dark red highlights. He seemed very mad I insulted his work. I told him I liked the cut but is there anything that can be done about the color to make it all one shade. He basically told me it was possible but would be VERY EXPENSIVE. I told him i paid over 155$ not including tip and I would not pay anymore more to come out looking like carrot top. His coworker pulled him aside and told him just to make it all one color and not to charge. I thought it would be the end of that issue but the hostility that followed unbearable. He insulted my hair and told me he basically didn't have time for this. I was holding back tears the entire time. After putting in the toner he let me at the sink for over 30 minutes, I thought my neck was gonna fall off. He finally washed it off and dried my hair. I left the salon more upset than when I came in. I bought this Groupon to treat myself, but I ended up frustrated and upset. The staff needs training in hospitality. Treated me like an idiot, they were lazy, sloppy...wouldn't reimburse me for the worst color and cut I've ever received, took another client on during my appointment...making me wait with my head in the wash bowl for over an hour. I spent alot alot of money on a course of 5 months with v shape and tattoo. Had job emergency had to cancel. So inorder to get my tattoo finshed need to pay additional fee. Wow!! The employees here are incredibly rude and thats an understatement. I purchased a groupon here for partial highlights and cut and style. They sat me down for a "consultation" and told me I could not use my groupon because my hair was too long and told me that partial highlight only meant the very top of my hair which would look ridiculous, they basically said my groupon was invalid and told me they would not do "partial highlights on my hair", they wanted me to discard my gro...upon and pay much more. I have used groupon before at other salons and have had absolutely no problem. They didn't specify on the groupon that it was specifically for "short lengths". They made me feel uncomfortable from the moment I went in, i told them i wanted a refund and would never come back. The woman working said that they don't need my business because they have "plenty of customers" except funny thing is, the salon was completely empty. i came to this salon with a groupon for eyelash extensions.  SO glad i did!!!  hannah and her staff made sure i was comfortable with the results, as i am a first timer with this type of procedure.  my lashes looked great, and i've been back for a few "refills."  it's not an inexpensive addiction, but i am really happy with the results,  and i am definitely hooked.i have found hannah to be extremely accommodating to my wacky schedule, being flexible with appointment times.  i would recommend this place to those who are patient and flexible about timing.  good things come to those who wait. I have a big presentation this upcoming Thursday and wanted to look sharp so, I went to Josh to get natural looking blonde balayage. We talked about what I wanted, I even showed him a picture, it seemed like we were on the same page.. But an hour later I came out of the salon with all over bleach blonde hair. I went in on Valentine's Day night as a little treat to myself. It was my first time going to Edge, although I knew one of the women that worked there. I was warmly greeted upon my arrival by Nicole, who was so thoughtful knowing my appointment was that day she added a little personal touch by giving me a treat to take home for my pup! Then I was greeted by Jessie Kelly, a bubbly stylist with awesome pink hair, who took note to listen to my "hair concerns" and desire for a lo...w-maintenance 'do. Jessie took me back to the bowl to give my locks a wash - and if there is anything you do for yourself - at least go to Edge for a blowout! Their wash chairs are seriously TO DIE. We returned to the chair, I got a nice hot tea on the cold, snowy Winter night while she groomed my locks, and in no time I was out the door with an amazing did 'do! This place has always done me right. Never been dissatisfied. I first came because of a Groupon for full highlights under $100 which is an amazing deal. I went back again for my wedding. I always see Mayra and for my trial run I was running late from work and she still stayed waiting for me. Then, it took quite a bit for everything that I wanted that I kept her there passed closing. I felt so terrible because it was Jan. and the weather wasn't so great. Needless to say she knew what my special occasion meant to me and sacrificed to make me happy. I couldn't be happier with how my hair looked on my wedding day. The staff is always upbeat and friendly. I continue to go back for my routine haircuts and I'm always very happy with the services.
