I go back and forth on this place.  The location is great and the staff is really nice.  However, I've gotten better pedicures at other places.  The cuticle and nail grooming can be good or so-so.  And they don't do the wax for the feet.  It's consistently good but not great.  But is convenient. I am new to this neighborhood and was looking for a nail salon.  I checked Yelp and this location came up (close to my house).  I did read some reviews (both good and bad) and decided to go the salon and find out my experience!  I am so glad I came and had my nails done (I had gel nails service)!!The salon is very clean and full of customers (it was Sunday morning around 11:30am)!  Staff are very friendly with greet and smile!  Tony did my nails and did exactly what I wanted!  The color I picked up was really nice and fit my skin color as well!  The price ($34) is very affordable I think since the salon is located in Shirlington Village!  I actually expected that the price was much higher than that!  I will definitely come back here again for my nails! I didn't  want to write this review since it's less than a 4/5. This is my second time here first time for a gel mani and  the service was great so I returned. I got a pedi this time. The nail tech was very nice  and friendly and talked me into a deluxe pedicure she gave a really nice massage. The issue I have is that my toes are uneven and the nail polish on my skin. She did use acetone to get some of it off when I asked her but I most likely won't be return. Overall the place is clean, organized and the staff is friendly but the service is just okay. This place is a solid 3 stars. It's not bad, it's definitely not great, and if I'm in a crunch I'll return. I received a standard pedicure and my feet look better than they did, but they did a lackluster job with dead skin removal. I hadn't had a pedi since the end of last summer so my feets were in serious trouble. The woman doing the pedi tried to sell me a more expensive service, which I declined, and then she did a very rushed job. I asked for the the razor and she used it but there is sooo much visible dead skin left. The polish looks fine, however. I am disappointed.Received a gel mani. It seems at this salon that certain people do pedis and then you sit at the bar (without alcohol) for a gel mani. It was busy so it wasn't clear to me if it's always like this. Anyhow, totally different person did the mani and it looks pretty good. He asked how I wanted my nails shaped instead of assuming and was careful with skin removal. No frills.$60 for both services. They have a sign up that says no tips on credit cards and there is no tip line on the credit card receipt, but they allowed another customer who forgot cash to add it to her credit card. They also have an ATM in the store. This place is a block from my new home and almost too convenient to pass up, but I have had better. The hunt continues. Read Less

I don't understand the 1 & 2 star reviews of this place...I come here once a month and it is consistently a great value every time. Their prices are more than reasonable when compared to other salons in the Arlington area & even when they are jam packed busy, we have never had to wait long at all to get service. My shellac nails always last about 3 weeks, which is the longest I've ever seen with any salon I've been too. The owners are friendly and the place is clean. If you've had a bad experience here one time before, I would urge you to give this place a try again! Read Less

I always go to Diana Nails, because it is in walking distance from where I live. I'm not sure why I don't find a new nail salon, because this place does very poor jobs. The nail techs tend to rush their job and make it sloppy. Not only is it done horribly, but they have a poor/little color selection for you to choose from. The nail techs are rude and rush you to pick a color and finish the job. They never ask if you want it trimmed or filled they do it automatically, and cut it way to short. And if you want a normal manicure they only do 2 coats so for more thin colors you can see right through the polish and into the nail. Also from my experince they have made me move to the drying station half way through a manicure so someone else can get their nails done who just got in. I have also sent my daughter there while I waited outside and they tried scamming her to pay extra with the money I gave her. I had to go in there and tell them to give me the money they had made her pay extra for, and they hesitantly did. I can barley understand many of them so it's hard to enjoy the salon without worrying if you told them the right response or not. I would not reccommend ever going here. I live in the local area and I've heard very similar stories and they are a horrible salon overall. The nail polish is always smudged and chips of easily. My nail tech "B" did not use sanitized nail tools on me. Always make sure your tech brings packaged, auto-claved supplies when they perform your service. "B" accidentally cut my cuticle and it appeared she used the same cuticle cutters on her next guest. That is scary!! It seemed like she had one or two pairs of cutters she kept in her apron and just used those. I know accidents do happen but my complaint is using the same equipment between guests without proper cleaning. Especially when you make a guest bleed. One other thing worth noting, if you are going to just go through the motions of a hand massage without any effort, just skip it. I really hope the manager sees this and enforces good practices for all employees. I was jealous of the girl beside me whose male tech, brought sanitized nail equipment to do her manicure.Read Less

This place is the best! My mom recommended that i come here with her around the holidays last year and i have never stopped. Im in college but everytime i am home for the breaks i always get my naiks done here. Everyone is extremely friendly, the place is very clean/ smells nice, and they get you in and out! I love Diana Nails!  If I could give 100 stars I would but Yelp only allows 5.  Diana Nails is the best place for mani pedis in Arlington.  I've been a loyal customer for over a year, and won't go elsewhere.  Dara usually does my mani pedis (she's talented and so sweet) but all staff members @ Diana Nails do excellent job! (I.E. Dee, and the rest of the ladies!). Twee the Manager ensures a smooth, happy, & positive client experience for all customers.  Excellent quality mani pedis and customer service, reasonable prices, and these ladies are so sweet and friendly it always makes my day!  Tip: Parking is free!  Tip: Excellent eyebrow wax @ Diana Nails too! I Love this place I just got done getting my nails done I only come here to get my nails done and the guy name Tony did my nails he always do I love the way he do my nails and very creative when it comes to designs. I haven't been here for a few years -why?! The prices are good, the service is good (side eye to the girl I had today- see my photo) and its in a convenient location. Unlike a few other nail salons that I have been to this place does not have their prices posted, you will have to look at their brochure for that or ask them if there are no more brochures. I had fairly good service. The girl who worked on me talked the whole time in an otherwise quiet (although busy) shop.  It made me feel uncomfortable. She was the only one talking and the two girls sitting next to her glanced at me a few times. RUDE. When she started painting my nails she picked the wrong polish. She was almost finished with the first coat when I asked her to stop. Then I showed her the polish I picked. She didn't even apologize. She just had an attitude. At that point I almost changed my mind on getting my manicure done but I decided to get them done anyway. While she was working on my nails another tech came and took the polish I wanted. I ended up having to wait a while to get my finger nail polish done. I gave this place three stars because even though my experience wasn't the best it wasn't ALL terrible and I did get a nice product in the end. DO NOT COME HERE FOR AN EYEBROW WAX ($9).This is the second time I came and it was terrible both times. I went back to give them the benefit of the doubt. After my wax the first time, i said thanks and left. When I got home, I looked in the mirror and it was as if I had never hone in the first place. It was partly my own fault for not taking a closer look while I was there and bringing it to their attention.I had the same lady the second time. Super nice, but I couldn't understand anything she was saying to me and anytime I said anything she just said "mhm". I realized that it was more of an automatic response when she didn't know what I was saying. She's a little older, so I'm wondering if she just has bad eyesight or the lighting in there is terrible. This time I checked and it was HORRIBLE ... practically nothing was done, so I asked her to fix it up. I took a quick glance again and it looked okay when I was there. Like I said, it must have been the lighting because when I went home to look it was just as bad as the first time! I ended up tweezing all around my eyebrows myself, basically wasting the $11 that I spent while I was there. The center, above, and under my eyebrows ... NONE of them were clean (please see pic that I left). It's a shame that I'll have to go somewhere else now because my apartment complex is right next to it. Read Less
