This place is the best I went in to get my nails done and asked for a yin yang on my nails with Crome in the background and Lisa did amazing I totally recommend this place to everyone. This is the best nail place in Utah they have Gel/Shellac Nail Polish, Acrylic, Dipping Powder, and Chrome Nails. Went in to get pedicures with my husband and had a very disappointing experience. I asked for a flower painted and they had to ask three different people to do it then it was finally done very poorly didn't even look like a flower ( never had a problem) . They even had to remove what the first nail tech put on because they were putting on nail polish when it was supposed to be shellac but the first nail tech wouldn't listen or understand me. I had been going there for over a year and while their prices were too high they were fast and ok. The final time I was there I had accidentally left my debit card at home and needed to go get it. She insisted I leave collateral as if she didn’t know I was a regular customer who tipped quite well and well known to them. Me and my friend went to get pedicures a few days ago. The nail polishes were all dried out. The didn’t put top coat on. Both of our polishes are already chipping. The people there are not very nice and don’t listen to what you want. One lady was just sitting there glaring at us while she was on her phone the whole time while my pedicure was being done and my friend was sitting there waiting with her feet in cold water for over 30 minutes. Awful service. They charge an extra dollar for using a card to pay with. Really? I wish I would have read these reviews before going there and it could have saved us some money. My mother and I went in for pedicures. We both started at the same time, my gal was great, she was thorough and nice. Did a great job. The gal that did my mom was a different story. She finished my mom 15 minutes earlier then me and didn’t do a good job. You could see where she filed well and where she didn’t. She tried to tell us there are so many times she could file the same spot but she barely did it at all on the outer half of my moms foot. Also, while doing the pedicure she stopped everything to take a phone call and barely paid attention to anything after that started. She remained on the call for the remainder of our appt. My pedicure and manicure were horrible! She cut my nails but didn't even bother to file and shape them!! Then a day later I found some of my manicure discolored. I did not dye my hair, nor use tanning oil, or anything else that could make them turn brown! I came in to get them fixed and the owner kept insisting it was my fault and that I came in to complain. They fixed my nails minus the flower I had originally paid for but at this point I wanted out of there. And the owner wondered why it's slow today?! Gee...I wonder... I am never coming here again! The absolutely worst experience I have ever had. My mother and I went to get pedicures and manicures. After soaking for over an hour, they finally started on our feet. Tina did my toes and was very sweet and seemed embarrassed by the environment. There was another employee who was very rude and started fighting with the other employees. There were two young girls who’s water was to hot and were afraid to ask for help. My mother got a manicure as well, but because of the horrible service I chose to pay and leave. Excellent pedicure today!! Very clean, one of the cleanest I have ever seen!! I was pleasently surprised at how well kept the salon is. Great selection of colors and overall great experience. I did not read any reviews until now after my visit. Sounds like the Salon has dealt with some very psychotic people!! No one should have to deal with hateful entitled customers and i am very happy they arent going to this salon ever again because i would not want to be in the same air with them. I don't normally give reviews because I don't like to be negative about anyone, but this place was the reason I decided to do one. Worst Customer service at a nail salon I only stayed an hour to wait because my daughter was doing her nails already. They charge an extra 5$ for the name brand polish they charge an extra 5$ for longer nails which I had never heard of and when I questioned that he told me they get their money's worth and if I didn't like it I could go to another place and wherever I go that doesn't charge that are cheap nails and they do a good job for the money. If that were the case maybe I could understand the extra fees. My full set nails were so short and filed so crooked I was so turned off I said I had to leave and would re file and paint them at home. Not to mention an extra charge for using my debit. I'm surprised they don't charge for sitting in their chairs too. Bad attitude and cheap nails. Not worth the base price and all the extra charges. I got there and asked for a full set and a pedi... 2.5 hours later I walked out. Not only did I wait almost an hour to have someone start but the polish was all over my toes , and my acrylics not only aren't straight but they are already cracking 4 days later. When they were filing my nails they also cut up my skin surrounding my nails. The price is outrageous for the quality of their work. I will never go back. I only gave one star because I had to. We were there for over two and a half hours. It was painful and the actual pedicure wasn't very good. I had to come home and clean some of my manicure up. My mom was with me and they didn't even touch her until I was completely done. She told them she didn't have time for a manicure because it took to long and the lady told her to wait and she would do it fast. She did but we were still charged the full amount and my mom didn't even get a good manicure. They didn't soak her fingers which were still dirty from gardening so they just painted on top of the dirt. There was a lady waiting for her pedicure while I was being helped and she tried to leave before she was able to finish getting her shoes on the lady helping me stopped and told her three more minutes so she sat back down. 15 minutes later I was done and she was sort of being helped in between her setting someone else up. First Aimee Tran, if you are just a "Customer" how would you know if they are the most sanitary place in town and how they sanitize their tools etc? and you say that no one uses bags for the foot tub's? once more how would you know that just being a "Customer" ? I was actually there with a Bridal party and I saw the employees take a tub bag, pour out the foot juice and then put that very same bag in the tub again. That is really sanitary isn't it? I guess this place is the only place in town that RE-USES the tub bags. You told these customers they could get all 4 pedi's done at the same time - they asked before they sat down. on top of that, the people that were doing our pedicures left as soon as they were done with our party, no one stayed to help with these other customers that walked in. Brian was very rude, the lady had put up with enough. she asked if she could get all 4 people done at at the same time he said yes, and then he didn't do what he said he would do, they waited and waited and waited. These people under my review were rude in every way. I was there getting my feet done the Sunday that everything happened. If they couldn't wait to get their feet done it's their loss. People don't understand that they try their best to get people in no one wants to lose customers. If you guys seen that there was people waiting you should've just went to a different place instead of sitting down at the chair. They had people coming to help out but they were impatient and didnt want to wait. The lady doing the pedicure got up to check out the previous people and in the middle of the pedicure they decide to get up and leave Of course they would be charged.! They're not gonna do your feet half way and than decide that they'll just let you go. People don't sit down work on disgusting feet for no reason. You should be happy that you can pay someone to do it for you. You should feel bad for acting the way your acting. Your lucky they didn't charge you for sitting on the chair soaking your feet in the water. This place is super sanitary. No one uses tub liners. No other place sanitizes and cleans their tools as good as them it's your guys loss for losing a great pedicure. Way too pricey for what they offer: worst gel manicure I have ever received. They literally cut my finger, told me to rub the lotion in myself, and did nothing when I stopped back in less than a week later with an already PEELING gel manicure saying my nails look like they have already grown. I live locally and have been coming to this salon since moving to Utah 3 years ago. Recently it changed hands and changed from Nails 4 U to Glamorous Nail. I wanted to give them a try because I've had great service when it was under the other management. By far the worst gel manicure I've had. I asked her not to use the drill due to it thinning the nail, she said that's the only thing she knew to do and I stated an emery board would work well and she refused. When the acetone was removed from my nails instead of using a tool to get the rest of my polish off, she used her finger nail and her hands had open cuts and she refused to use the tool. You can't be 100% sure the tools they are using are sterile because she just pulled them off the table next to us. Also it was $30 for the gel and I'm use to $25. She was pleasant when refusing what I wanted and the other workers were pleasant as well just not good service. Read Less

So where do I start?!... I've been coming here off and on for 3 years and today was the day that convinced me to never come here again! It has been a while since my last manicure and pedicure so I got so excited to treat myself. I have always gotten people who do a really good job here too so I was extra excited! Today however I got a guy who WAS HORRIBLE! He didn't know how to cut cuticles; in fact he had to have someone come over and do it for him. He REFUSED to remove my calluses, even though I paid extra for him to do so, am 9 months pregnant and haven't had a pedicure in months... actually according to him it was bad for my feet?!!. He didn't cut my nails infact I had to ask him 4 times to cut them shorter, and when he did he cut every single toe at an angle. Then what everyone waits for... the massage... nope just a couple hand strokes and done! I was going to get a manicure but instead just decided to leave and go somewhere else! I've only been here twice, but both times I had a great experience. They are very friendly and do great pedicures. First pedicure I did was more deluxe and included a longer foot massage, which was very nice. Second pedicure, I did the regular pedicure and my toes looked great afterwards. Prices are pretty typical for a nail salon. I will be going here in the future for my pedicures. I would recommend them to a friend! Read Less

This salon is seriously awesome. The owner is wonderful and caters to all the customers who come in, including playing music videos tailored to the individuals who are in. He is so nice and his customer service is second to none. The employees are great and I had the best pedicure I've had as long as I can remember, including pedicures I have had at super expensive spas. I bite my nails really bad. Gross habit but I cant stop unless I have artificial nails on so I have been to many, many places over the years to get them on.Brian uses a technique where he puts clear nails on and then uses a tool to make the nail look like where its supposed to be. I've also had nails on for 30-40 days without a refill and they don't lift.He does excellent work, I recommend him anytime someone compliments me on my nails! Read Less

I have never felt so unwanted in a nail salon in my life! The gel paint samples were not painted well enough to even determine the color. My friend needed a certain color to match her bridesmaid's dress and asked to see some of the colors better from the bottle. Upon requesting this, the man told her "what you see is what you get" and he wasn't even the one helping her. The man was doing my nails, a simple refill and polish change.  Anytime he'd ask me a question, he'd seem irritated by my response. He made me feel like a burden for wanting my nails to be perfect (especially if for just a refill and polish change I'm paying $39). After I responded to one of his final questions, he told me basically to stop talking to him. The entire time we were there I felt the need to whisper to my friend next to me in order to not disturb the ones doing our nails. I've never been to such an unfriendly nail salon. I overpaid for the service provided and was treated in such a disrespectful way the entire process that I was on the verge of just walking out. I was very disappointed with my visit. The woman who did my nails was very rude and rolling her eyes at me when I was trying to explain the shape of nails that I wanted. After I showed her the picture she told me that she couldn't fix what she had done even after I said i didn't like the shape. I went to this salon because I just moved to the area and it was close. I was excited when I walked in because they had SO many colors of shellac, but I was only there to get my acrylic taken off. I sat down and the lady started RIPPING my nail off. It hurt so bad. She ripped one off and I pulled my hand back and asked what she was doing, I had never had that happen at a salon. I told her it hurt and said, "wont that ruin my nails?" And she said "yes, but we do it this way because it's fast. I wasn't down for that so I asked if she would let me soak them in acetone instead (like every other salon) and she said fine. She seemed annoyed and said it would take too long, but I insisted. I have never had a salon deliberately hurt my nails and not care. It was awful. Don't go here if you care about the health of your nails because they don't. After they has soaked off she barely buffed them down which left rigid marks on my nails. She kept asking if it was enough and seemed really annoyed that I had taken the longer route of soaking them. She also "filed" then for about 10 seconds. My hand were really gross from soaking them but she just plopped lotion on them without letting me wash them and said she was done. It was a joke. I have mix feelings about this place, it's not my usual nail place but it's close by when I can't go to my nail person in Kearns. It is my second time coming here and the first time was charge $25 for a shellac manicure and today I was charge $29 and I tip $3 on top of that. I did not see a price list like other nail salons either I did not see it or it is not posted up or I would have mention something. The lady that helped me was nice enough but there was little a abrasiveness in her tone. This will be my last time coming here. Brought my wedding party here for pedicures as a treat for being in my wedding. We had an appointment scheduled for 2 but when we got there the pedicure chairs were full and we ended up waiting 30 minutes to get seated. Not really sure what the point of making an appointment was. The pedicure itself was great although the massage part of my chair was not functioning correctly. I took my lovely grandmother here to have a shellac manicure while I myself had a pink & white gel full set done (my last set was in need of full replacement). We were able to walk in and be seen right away (I did call first to verify) and we were both out of there in a little over an hour. The technician who worked with me was able to get my nails shorter than my tech back home, which I appreciated very much. Thinner too! My grandmother's shellac manicure was great as well (she loved the massage/hot towel treatments). I'm glad to have found her such a great salon close to home that she can continue to go to. So I went here on a friday to get my nails done. I got acrylic nails with gel tips. The women was busy so the man on his computer got up to help me. He was extremely slow and when using the tool to get the extra glitter tip off the rest of my nail he was pushing so hard he made two of my fingers bleed. my ring finger wasnt as bad but my pinky hurt so bad. There was a lot of blood and it was deep but he didnt say a word to me. After that the women took over and she wiped my blood away and was shaking her head. The glitter tips arent even covering the white part of my natural nail so you can see them on the sides. I'm still treating the infection in my pinky from him being so rough and its been a week. I came in this morning for a Shellac pedicure and John did mention this complaint on here and I feel like I need to say something about this. Oh yea BTW I was charge for $45 for a Shellac pedicure. =) I was present when KaylaHope and her friend came into the store, at first they were price checking so they told them Shellac it self on the toes were 25 on top of the pedicure they decided to go with, I clearly heard John said that so there should not even a misunderstanding about pricing. I travel a lots, so I got my fare share of bad nails and service. But each time I got my done a Nails 4 U, I'm really happy, they speak English really good, really good service and their nails last a long time. KaylaHope what the b.s about, you get a pedicure and a Shellac for only $20. My girlfriend and I went to get Shellac toes done. We made an appointment. When we showed up, they had us sit and wait for over 45 minutes. finally, when they got started, they said it'd be $25 for Shellac. The pedicure was awful. All they did was soak our feet in water and scrub w/ a stone. (they charged us $20 just for that). When the pedicurist was working on my friend, she got up halfway through to go wax another client! When our appointment was done, the lady said we each owed $45--even though before she had said $25--she NOW told us that the pedicure was $20 and the Shellac paint was $25. Are you kidding me?! I could buy a bottle of Shellac for less than $25. We begrudgingly paid. When we were walking out, she manicurist chased us outside to tell us we owed her an extra $5. We then said we shouldn't have even paid that much because the service was so crappy. She then started to yell at us saying ""you wouldn't find a Shellac pedicure for any cheaper!"" Uh, yes we would, and we did. I got my toes done w/ Shellac for $20, including a GOOD pedicure at another place. Plus, the Shellac polish chipped in a few days. All Nails 4 u stores are great!! I work near the Salt Lake store so I always stop in on lunch breaks, but this store is right next to my house. Never had a problem with either stores great service. I been going to Nails 4 U for almost 4 years now. I would not go anywhere else for my pedi and nails . Lisa is really good, Trust me. I recommends you Get the deluxe pedi. Just do it. Its worth the extra money. We're talking longer massage, foot and leg mask, sea salt scrub, and a paraffin wax. AMAZING. My feet, which is girth and texture, have been soft (SOFT!!!!) for 4 weeks after this pedicure. The girls who work here call it callus-something. The callus and dry skin stand no chance against Nails 4 u employees! This is an AWESOME salon!! I have been going to this salon for the past 2 years and had no problems whatsoever. The nail artists are very, VERY nice and I always get a great deal with a smile. One of the great things about this place is there is no pressure to upgrade the service I want.
