I work in the area and needed a quick cut. I tried to get a trim here--just a basic cut with layers that followed what I already have--but I came away with a choppy mess. A chunk of it looked like grown out bangs! Fortunately, my usual stylist at Got Beauty in SLC made time to fix it (wish she'd been available in the first place!). I recently saw my cousin after her hair appointment at this salon. To say that her color job was atrocious is putting it nicely. It looked like she had spots all over the top of her head. Part of the color was white part was still very yellow. Her hair has always been so beautiful so this was very traumatic. Part of what made this experience so horrific was the lack of concern and professionalism from the owner. I personally witnessed some of the conversations between my cousin and the owner and was in shock she would not provide a refund (obviously I wouldn’t want the same salon/stylist trying to fix this mess after already being in the chair for 5 hours the day before). She clearly doesn’t value client satisfaction and the work walking out of her front door. Save yourself a huge mess and expense and do not come to this salon!!! Read Less

I was witness to a terribly poor experience here from one of my family members. Bad haircuts happen, but what made me leave a review is the atrocious treatment from the owner, Sabrina. Rather than offering a refund for a botched cut, she became immediately combative and made some paradoxical demands. I was surprised but still didn’t think much because I thought she was maybe just having a bad day. But I was able to listen to and read some more conversations between her and my family and I was appalled that she got more petty instead of offering a solution. It was super strange and I recommend avoiding at all costs. I get my lashes done by Ruthie, and let me tell you... there isn't a day where I don't get complemented! I always get the " are those your real lashes ?oh they are soo good? Who's you lash lady?!" Highly recommend her!! very sweet and patient, wouldn't go else where! Read Less

My husband paid for me to get a 50 minute massage and I only got a 35 minute massage.. I have the times marked down in my phone from when it started to when it ended. I went back into the massage room at 11:56 and didn’t start the actual massage until 12:00, the massage ended at exactly 12:35pm and I was out of the salon by 12:40. I asked the massage therapist to work on my neck and shoulders, to which she did for the last 2 minutes of the massage. At the end she told me that I would need to pay for another session in order for her to work out the knots in my neck. I was really underwhelmed and disappointed when I left because this was a gift from my husband and it was the first time I got a chance to treat myself after having a baby. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are wanting a massage and I would never come back. Edited to add that the massage therapist would be working on an area and then completely stop for about five seconds only to continue again. I know this isn’t a technique because afterwards I spoke with a family member who is a licensed massage therapist and she too was super confused. Spent to much time on my back and shoulders, but didn't leave enough time to do my front legs, though she made sure to touch them, but spent about 1 minute in total on my front legs and feet. I love this place! Everyone there is so happy. Its a fun place to be. They make you look and feel beautiful/handsome and they go out of there way to do what ever they can to make you happy. Its a great place to get all your pampering done. They do Hair for men and women, nails, lashes, massages and more. I get all my services done there. Highly recommend! Its a one stop shop! At first glance it doesn't looks like the place want to stop and get a massage. It's primarily a Salon located in a weird strip mall in Spanish Fork off highway 6. I decided to give it a try, it was close to home and i had a groupon.  I was pleasantly surprised at the massage I received at the hands of Lis (LN). She did an amazing job with just the right amount of pressure, firm and deep. The only distracting thing what the noise it seemed to bleed through their wall from those getting other treatments (at times I could make out their conversations). There was also another weird sound which was either a foghorn or someone blowing through a conch shell (I know, weird, right?!).I give the massage therapist five stars and the environment three.  They really need to address the distracting noise...perhaps better sound insulation? I love this place. The energy is always great, and all of the stylists are super nice. I've been going to Jessie exclusively for almost a year and I can honestly say I have never been let down! I trust her completely, she's willing to listen and work with me, and she even gave me tips on how to style the cut I just got. Does anyone out there know what a talent it takes to put in a single eyelash one by one.... well... I am telling you.... Shear Indulgence is a one-stop-shop for all a woman or man needs. They can do anything from head to toe, and I don't know why people try to be Debbie Downers and leave bad reviews when there is so much talent in the women that work here. I have to admit that this was one of the most positive experiences that I have had!! My eyelash technician was Sabrina and she did an absolute amazing job !!! This business comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me. Very clean and very comfortable environment. I so appreciate the way that I was treated here. The technicians are so kind and friendly. This business is exactly what it is in the name INDULGENCE !!  I honestly have gone to a lot of salons, but this salon TOPS them all.  The technicians here are not only highly trained, but are so kind and considerate.  If there is ANYTHING that you need, they service from head to toe.  Sabrina was my eyelash specialist and let me tell you... she did one heck of an amazing job.  She is in high demand for a reason!!  You absolutely can't go wrong here.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and would give a TEN STAR !! Edit: i didn't want my review to be taken the wrong way, and didn't like the way i portrayed the stylist. I moved back and chose this salon based on reviews and my previous experience when they first opened. I appreciated my stylist fitting me in, but just did not feel that there was a good energy or communication there. I wasn't a fan of her trim and layering technique much either, and felt she lacked professionalism visually and verbally. For the price of $35 i was underwhelmed, but do believe it to be a pretty standard fee. I'll be booking with my previous salon in Salt Lake, but do appreciate that they have put forth an effort to figure out what happened. Read Less

If you are looking for a pedicure do not go here. I had the worst pedicure of my life here. The water bath was cold. She didn't exfoliate my feet at all. There was no foot wrap. The paint job took 45 minutes itself and there was paint missing on my toes but on my skin that was not cleaned off. The nail art consisted of a swoop line and 2 dots. I basically have doodle smiley faces on my big toes that I could have done myself. No clean lines. Very inexperienced tech. I'm annoyed I spent $35 and 1 1/2 to just go home and remove it. I was a little nervous being a dude going in to a salon, but I've never been happy with the cookie cutter job from the in and out strip mall places I went to before, so I figured I'd give it a try. I've been in several times and always come out with a fantastic cut. The barber knows her stuff and somehow can remember how I like it, even though I only make it in once every few months.
