I was hesitant about leaving a review, but I figured I might as well try to save someone else. — My nails have never once looked like the pictures I have used as reference to show what I want. I also ask for almond shape, and always end up with uneven, lumpy, rounded nails. I have given more than enough chances (6) in hopes it would get better, after all of the good things I have heard. But good hell, enough is enough. Sophia is amazing with design.. but when it comes to shaping a nail, there is a lot of improvement to be done, and god forbid you ask her to fix something. If you only care about design and color, then great, get your nails done here. If you care about the shape and whether or not they are smooth and even in length, do not come here. I have not had one appointment where I didn’t end up having to go home and refile them completely. The tips of my real nails are always also separated from the acrylic. How hard is it to take 20 seconds to neatly file out the real nail??? Instead, she is busy pushing you out the door while she starts her next client, knowing damn well your nails are not done. She is a nice lady, but she overbooks herself, rushes through appointments, talks more than she works on your nails, and really just only seems to care about the money. I have been going here for years. I always get compliments on my nails. I even have people stop me to look at my nails and to ask me where I get them done. Sophia is wonderful to work with she will do anything I ask or show her that I want done, if I don't know what I want she is creative and always comes up with something I love. I get pedicures twice a month and never feel rushed or have problems if I do they always take care of it without complaint. I take my 8 year old niece here to get a manicure and pedicure became they are so good even with kids. I also get my eyelash extensions done they always look nice. Read Less

Nina and the whole team are so so great! So friendly and always listen to exactly what I want! I’m a flight attendant so my nails go through some rough work but I love never had any lifting or issues with them since I’ve been coming here! I always come without an apt and get right in! I found Sophia on instagram and sent her a message. She replied right away and was up for the challenge to create some unique wedding nails for my big day. We did these nails as a trial and I have had so many compliments on them. I just made an appointment to go back and get my actual wedding nails. She is so talented. If you make an appointment with Sophia you're never disappointed, she is an artist and one of a very few techs who keep up with all the different and new styles, I always leave feeling I have the prettiest unique nails. My friends recommended this salon to me months ago, I love this place. My nails and pedicure is done at the same time, the place is clean, my tub is covered with a liner, personal kit and the staff is very friendly. They ask me questions to make sure whether I like it or not and if I have any suggestions they fix it for me right away, which is rare with other places that I have been to. I have been going to Glam Nails for almost 5 years, the service is exceptional. They have disposable liners in the tubs and little pedicure kits for each customer so I find it to be very sanitized and clean. and they are good with designs. but keep in mind that each nail tech has different skills, some are good with pedicures, some are good with designs, and some are good with nails, it depends. however, I'm always satisfied when I leave there. here are some tips, let them know how you like it, don't be afraid to say what you want then they will understand you better. check on their facebook page, they have hundreds of designs. I have been going to Sophia for over a year. My mom, sister and aunt go to her too. I just show her a picture of what I want and she does it. Every design she does is by hand, no stamps or stencils.
