I’ve never written a review good or bad but I feel like this is a must!!!!! So this was me and sisters first and last time coming here. They don’t welcome you when you first walk in. I really didn’t know what was the point on making an appointment they were 15mins later. The owner had attitude the minute we walked through the doors. When asked a many questions she would have attitude and rude with her response. Her tone was unacceptable and uninviting. The only reason why I’m giving 2 stars is because the lady that did do my feet was really nice and helpful and very respectful. Other than that this will be our last time coming here! Horrible service. I took my bridal party and family there for my wedding. Booked over a month in advance. First of all there wasn’t enough people working to service all 12 of us, so after 40 minutes of waiting many of us left. Beyond that, we were treated horribly by the owner. The male owner was constantly on his sale phone and the women would not apologize for the inconvenience she had brought my party. I will never go there again. These guys are top-notch! I always receive great service. I get the deluxe mani and pedi with gel polish and they are extremely attentive to details. My nails look great each time. I prefer Anna for my nails and Tommy is the best I’ve had a pedicure from. They all do a great job, though! It’s usually busy, so prepare for a wait and to be there for a while. But it’s worth it. I've been here several times.. mainly because it's the only place I have found that does the powder dip, which I love. However, I will agree with most everybody else- even if you make an appointment they make you wait 20-30 minutes before getting you in. They do a great job but the man who does the powder dip ALWAYS makes me bleed. I also shape my nails prior to going in and he always tries to re-shape them after I tell him NO! I don't think he understands but it's beyond frustrating. I was in over Mothers day weekend and there was a mom and her 2 children and it looked like they had been waiting for pedicures for a while. The customer asked how much longer she had to wait and the owner snapped at her and created a scene and needless to say the customer and her children walked out. How embarrassing for the owner. BAD OUTCOME!  I loved the look of the place because it's clean and the staff didn't yell at each other. It seemed elegant and everyone was pleasant enough to suit me.  My first experience was ok and the young woman who did my pedi was nothing short of lovely.  I tried the new "Dips" for my hands, they were done a bit thick and looked a bit clumsy but my nails were short and damaged so I liked the idea of a long wearing gel type of nail which was good for my nails.I came back to have them redone and had an absolutely awful experience which I must share though I am in no way a complainer, just someone who expects to be treated fairly and given value for money.  The prices weren't cheap so I expected at least decent service.  The owner rolled his eyes and acted like I was a royal pain when I asked him to be careful with the electric file since my nails are thin and didn't in any way act sorry for hurting me, I explained the whole purpose of the Dips was to allow the nail to harden and get stronger since they use acetone to take them off but he was using his fine drill too deeply and this is the reason I had to stop using gel in the first place!  I tried to explain, he just acted pissed off.  I asked him to cut my cuticles instead of file them off with the drill he acted doubly/tripley cross with me.  He couldn't, or didn't seem to want to understand me so his wife, who does speak English well, came over and basically told me no to everything I was asking, disagreed with me as though I'd never had my nails done (thought I've been getting manicures, gels, acrylics and tips for 40 years) and then suggested I find another place to go as she didn't think she could do as I asked even though I said I'd pay to have cuticles cut and merely wanted him to go easy with his drill.  She tried to tell me everyones cuticles are ragged in the winter, tried to tell me the fineness of the file they used on the drill for the Dips procedure are not damaging (even though he filed so deep it hurt my nail bed and the one already damaged fingernail was now wafer thin on the edge, she simply didn't offer any solutions or any customer service, just basically told me to go and find somewhere else.  Absolutely atrocious.  I wasn't even the slightest bit rude, just trying to protect my nails from someone who didn't seem to care and trying to get a job done which would look acceptable (which long ragged cuticles or drill filing them would not accomplish).I am a people oriented business owner and have never had such a horrid and disheartening experience in a nail salon or really anywhere ever in my 54 years.  If you are in any way exacting or particular, or you appreciate being treated in a friendly manner.  I suggest you don't go here.  The worst nail experience of my life. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but after getting hurt here I feel I needed to. I was getting my acrylics taken off and the gentleman used nail clippers to break them off. Well I'm not sure that he was paying attention, because he cut my thumb nail pretty deep into my nail bed. I just wanted to leave, but a lady that worked there didn't want me to leave with just one hand done. She took over and popped off the other nails on my right hand then I asked to leave again. She wanted to grind down the rest of the cut thumb nail and it just hurt. I finally said no I need to leave. They glued it back down before I could go wash it so it doesn't get infected. Take caution if you decide to go here. I'm off to the instacare to have it looked at. Read Less

I love this salon but expect a wait. My advice is, if you don't have 30 minutes extra to wait, be the first clients of the day, and you're good. Meanwhile, I've come for months and I always make appointments, with a wait. They are excellent at what they do and constantly hiring new staff to keep up. I get the dipping powder technique and have NEVER had it done better anywhere. I left my former nail salon of 5 years, wait and all. I have been here a couple of times, as this location and is super convenient. They never stick to reservations and are constantly late, the first time they were late and made me wait I brushed it off. As they are a newer business. However, this has become a constant thing. Today, I made an appt for 2 people, we arrive on time. They seat us and then leave to help other people. Including, starting a pedicure for someone who arrived after us. 50 minutes later they started on my ...sister and only after they finished her nails did they start on mine. This is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. If I make a reservation and they say they have an availability, I arrive on time, I expect to be helped at that time. Not over an hour later. I have found another nail salon that does dipping powder and believe me, I will not be back to this salon. Which is too bad, it is very clean and the prices are decent. My daughter, niece and I came in today for the third time. The first two times were okay but we also experienced the 45-minute cold foot water treatment during our pedicures. Today (Sunday) we came in at 11:00, right when they opened. It is now 1:10 and they just barely started my niece's nails after leaving the acetone on her nails to soak off her previous dip mani for over an hour before she finally took them off herself. My overzealous nail tech nearly ripped my nails off as she didn't wait the appropriate time for the gel polish to soak. I should mention we didn't have pedicures, just manis. My daughter and I are now done and have been for about 30 minutes. No apology or explanation. Also the nail techs don't really even try to be friendly. The language barrier I'm sure is difficult but a smile is universal. On a more positive note, this is a nice, clean place with new chairs and my nails look good (not great like last time, though). Salon is beautiful and they have a great color selection. The women doing my nails was very good and asked on multiple occasions if I was happy with them. She was great! My sister however had quite the opposite experience. The guy doing her nails was so rude and short with her. He kept clipping her skin with the electric file and when she would ask him to do something like shorten the length he acted like she was over stepping her limits. If I could I would give it 0 stars! I had made an appointment for 6 o'clock for three of us to get a mani and pedi. Everything started of great we were seated a little after 6 and enjoying our soak. They had us soaking for 50 minutes before anybody started working on our pedis. One person would start then a second would come in at the middle of it and a third person would finish you off. My god they were so rude and kept telling us that they need to go. She started my mani while someone else was finishing off my pedi. First of all, I am not one to write to write a negative review. However, after two bad experiences at this salon, I believe a negative review is necessary. Both visits were done with early evening appointments for a friend and I. At both of the visits we were made to wait far too long and service was unfriendly. The reason I went back for another visit, is because I believe in second chances. Also, I do like the newer and cleaner facility.At this second visit, my friend's feet sat in COLD water for 45 minutes. 45 MINUTES. No apologies, no "we'll be with you soon." Nothing. The gentlemen who did our toes, did a terrible job. Honestly, I wish I had paid more attention because they definitely did not put on base coats. Our toes were chipping after ONE WEEK. My friend's polish had bubbles in it.I really feel the service itself is 1 star worthy, but I do like the look of the salon and it's cleanliness.They absolutely will not be getting my business again and I will not be recommending this salon to anyone. This is a fabulous salon. It's brand new and the staff are wonderful. Great new massage chairs and TVs are on silent, tuned to HGTV. Tam/Tommy is one of the technicians and he was super nice and did an amazing pedicure. He taught me some Vietnamese while we chatted. Great experience all around. Read Less

My first experience with this nail shop is perfect. really clean ; it is the nicest place I've ever been too in Utah. The place has plenty of space, there's a separate table where you can wait or do your own thing. I really like the water fountain, the place look like a hotel. The nail technician were funny and polite , They're all professional. I got a dipping powder , it turned out just what I wanted. Really strong, great art of work . I am usually pleased with this place, however, about 2 months ago I went in for a Acrylic nail removal and have never been in more pain. DO NOT GO HERE FOR REMOVALS. My nails were very very damaged after and the lady doing the removal at first went under my natural nail making me bleed instead of going in between my nail and acrylic nail. She did this twice, even after she saw my finger bleeding. When I told them it hurt they still proceeded in ripping off my nail, and ripped off the middle of my natural nail with my acrylic nail. They also did the same thing with one of my other coworkers acrylic nail removals. They then charged me for the removal AND full price for gel nails, so that my nails wouldn't hurt so much. Gave me no discount for pain I was in. Use to love them but have never been so unsatisfied. My nails are still healing after all this time, and still hurt. Wont be returning here. Read Less

The most beautiful, luxurious nail salon I have ever been to! I just lost 20 pounds and my reward was a hot stone pedicure. I looked for a place on Yelp and found Venetian Nail Spa! The place is a spa! Spotless! Great selection of polish. I was professionally greeted, which was nicer than someone working shouting "go pick color". The spa chairs are beautiful! I'm obsessed with them! I have never gotten such a great massage while having a pedi. I was given water without asking. I didn't get the name of who gave me my pedi, but he was awesome and so polite! I do wish they wore name tags! The pedi was amazing and worth every dollar. The massage could have been better but I was there 1-1/2 hours getting a pedi! I felt awesome after! My only complaint? I really want to like this place. It's super nice inside but the service is so slow. I'm actually writing this after sitting with my feet in freezing cold water for the last 30 minutes. First world problems, right? The first time I came they were totally on top of it. But with each subsequent visit they get slower and slower. The last time I came I just got a polish change and the woman doing was kind of rude and smudged the polish. So I had to fix it at home. They are kind of pricey here so I expect a good job. The first time I went in, I made an appointment for gel on my fingers and toes. I asked them if they would be able to have it done in an hour. They said "yes". I went in and they were so over booked I waited in the waiting area for 20 minutes. I knew waiting that long we wouldn't have time to do both my finger and toes (they clearly didn't have two technicians to spare) so I had them just do my fingers. The second time I went in, I made an appointment and told them I needed gel on my fingers and toes. Again, asked them if they could do both in an hour. They said "yes". I showed up and they had a packed salon. I waited 10 minutes before I was seated. 40 minutes in, I still didn't have my polish taken off. I asked them if we would be done in 20 minutes. They said "no". No apology or explanation or even a solution. I asked them to finish up because I had to make another appointment. They let me walk out with new polish (not even a clear coat), the old polish partly on, not buffed and very upset. It's sad really, this place has potential. The color selection is nice and the facility has newer equipment. Unfortunately, it's poorly managed. You should never walk away from a nail salon with nails that look worse then when you went in. I've lived in Utah for a year. And for a year I've been trying to find a decent nail salon. I have terrible cuticles on my hands and ingrown nails at my feet. Other places have refused to deal with it. But Venetian nails did!This place totally rocks!! It's beautiful, clean, sterilized tools, sweet staff. Oh my gosh! I have found my nail place! So excited! They did such a good job on my nails and they were so patient with my baby boy. Tiffany was sweet enough to come and pick him up and walk around with him when he got super fussy! The atmosphere is wonderful it's SUPER clean, gah, I could go on and on!
