Although I have 4 nail salons within blocks of my house, I choose to drive to Jade Nails. The staff is friendly and does great work. Heidi, the owner, is charming, does incredible French shellac fingernails; Lynn is my favorite for pedicures. However, I've gone to each of the staff at different times and not been disappointed. WHO....WHO PUSHES AND PRESSURES YOU To completely WAX your full face, "sideburns", chin and upper lip. ONE DAY BEFORE A ROMANTIC GET AWAY?! Also I got an eyebrows waxing too  *that's the only one I wanted and have done before. But she pulled out some of my eyelashes and left a lot of wax and loose hairs all over. I WAS MORTIFIED but just for the obvious but here is the worst part....I developed red hot itchy dots to 40% of my face. ..LIKE ACNE. and it lasted 4 full days! In my opinion this worker shouldn't have ever even suggests these things were an option. They have no idea how my skin is going to react the first time. I know I should have had common sense and could have come across the same realization on my own. But still she works there and has a responsibility to inform her clients and make appropriate suggestions for their protection. I'll end on a great note: my daughter and I came in for a design on our new pedi's and mani's **we were able to schedule in at last minute which I truly value -thank you! You have always been amazing....I had the opportunity to go for a pedi at brickhouse...sometimes super lame...waited forever..but they have a comfortable space so waiting isn't too bad...but when I left within 2 days and I had a few full nails of polish just come off in a full nail shape...from bare foot or socks or whatever...never happened to me before. I spent 280.00 total for both my daughters and my own pedi/mani *with some decorations that I wasn't entirely on board with or asked for. INCLUDING that entire face side burns chin upper lip waxing...it all just happened and you say no but they keep going anyway.. ?I'm a talker. Sorry. Ending. I LOVE JADE NAILS but HATE THIS LAST EXPERIENCE mostly because she knew I had a huge vacation coming up the next day. This could have been so much shorter. SORRY! I'll  get better :) Read Less

I USED to love jade nails. My first two times were great the third I had made an appointment showed up 10 minutes early and ended up waiting for 30 minutes however the main lady did an awesome job at recovering it. Now my fourth time my actual nails were so grown out I wanted new tips I sat down told her that she said "oh no I will just clean them up" I let her do it she charged me for a full set still!!! My mother and I just got pedicures and full sets and let me say, we will NEVER be going back. For what we got the price was ridiculous. Defiantly WAS NOT WORTH IT!! They didn't talk to us really at all except to ask/harass us to do upgrades, I showed her a design I wanted and when she was done it looked nothing of the sort, she rushed through everything, didn't really do anything that was suppose to be in my pedicure, hot stones, massage, scrub, etc. the design she did on my toes my 9 year old brother could have done a better job. The lady spent barely 10 minutes on my spa pedicure. She rushed through every step and then painted on 2 thick layers of polish then the clear top coat. The polish was so heavy it took so long to dry and was gloppy and thick. She barely massaged my feet and legs. At the end, I was told I got the special callus remover when I didn't. She charged me the extra $5 anyways, even after I told her I didn't get it. She also charged me 50 cents to run my debit card? Very disappointing. Read Less

All the technicians are well trained to do nails, pedicures, waxing, and other services. I personally have Heidi do my nails and Kim do my pedicures. I have gone to several other salons and have never been as satisfied and happy with my nails as I am with Jade Nails. I do alot of media using my hands and always told how beautiful my nails are. I've been going to Heidi for about 5 years now and love how she does my nails. They are narrow and thin and look so nice. I love the square tips and she always remembers that's what I want. I get so many compliments on them. I go in about every 2 weeks and get the acrylic color changed for variety. She will do a standing appointment or will even fit you in with little notice. I would definitely recommend Heidi at Jade Nails to everyone who wants great looking acrylic nails. She even does a great job at waxing! Read Less

I have been going to Jade Nails for many years. Heidi Sy, the owner, is as friendly as can be. The staff always greet me with a smile and know who I am and ask about my family. Heidi's nails are fantastic. They look good and never break! The pedicures are fast and they always look good. Usually never a wait. You can walk in and get your pedicure or manicure within minutes. I have gone to Jade nails for a treat for myself and my daughters. The last two times I have gone I have been over charged. I had a pedi and my daughters just had their fingers and toes only painted with little flowers on big toes only. I was charges 100.00. I told them I was over charged and all of a sudden they didn't understand english. So yesterday I went in again and set the price before she even started. I had Shellac removed and put back on. She quoted me 25.00 Then she had removed one hand of shellac and told it will be 35.00 with the removal of old shellac. Even though she had taken off one full hand. All they do is soak them off. She quoted me 25.00 for new shellac and knew I had it on my nails. before she stared. I should have gotten up and left. Everything is 5.00 or 10.00 more than they quote in the begining. Plus nails look horrible. I could have done a better job ! The ladies in the salon are rude. I will never go back and I hope this review will prepare you to go somewhere else or teach these ladies english so you don't get ripped off. Read Less
