I got a full set with Shellac done. I was expecting Darian to use tips with my acrylics but she did them free formed. I was shocked! I absolutely love my nails! She did amazing and she is very knowledgeable! We talked the whole time! She made sure that I left there with the nails that I wanted and asked throughout the appointment if I wanted to adjust anything and she was more than willing to do so. EDIT: after this review, the owner reached out to me. She had one of her best technicians rearrange her schedule in order to accommodate me the very next morning, and did a brand new set, at no charge. Darian was amazing and very sweet; she never once made me feel as if I had inconvenienced her, and the set she did looked even better than the original set I had. It has been 2 weeks and the set is still going strong. Thank you! I got a full set done last Friday. On Wednesda...y, I had a nail break and I was able to get it repaired today. 4 hours after getting that nail repaired, I had another one break, and all I was doing was my makeup. They can’t get me in for a repair until Monday, but im getting my engagement photos done on Sunday. It sounds like they do a wonderful job, if you can get in!  I tried walking in to have manicures with my daughter a few months ago and they weren't interested in finding a time they could take us.  Another daughter called them today and scheduled an appointment for 3 of us to get nails done and when we got there the girl couldn't find our appointment.  We had received a confirmation text, but, hadn't realized it was for the right time 3 weeks from now.  We made a trip up from Utah County to have our nails done.  The thing that was really surprising is the girl didn't make any effort to see about fitting us in and making it work, and she wasn't the least bit friendly.  We definitely got the sense that they don't want or need our business.  The one silver lining is that owner did text my daughter with an apology and an offer for a discounted rate but a few hours later (my daughter had called to let them know what incompetent customer service they had).  Luckily, we found an awesome place nearby that took us right in and had the friendliest service and we all love our nails so it wasn't a wasted afternoon after all. I really liked the people working here, but this was the worst manicure of my life. My nail tech was great and we were chatting the entire time. But when I looked down at my finished hands, I noticed she didn't cut my cuticles or the dead skin around my fingers. She seemed to be in a rush and kept looking over my shoulder at the many women waiting. I think the main problem is that they overbook. Can't say enough good things! This place is amazing! I got complimentary beverages and free wifi with my service. It felt great at the end of the day to kick my feet up and relax to a good foot rub while playing video games on my laptop and drinking Coke. Lizz gave me the best pedicure and even got rid of the calluses on my foot that had been there for years. I'd recommend her to anyone. She is very conscientious about shaping and how her designs are done. Her attention to detail is unlike any I've ever seen. I have been here multiple times and Tiffany is such a sweet heart, she tries new nail designs on me and isn't afraid to step outside the box. Tiffany is the sweetest- my niece was recently diagnosed with AML and has been at Primary Childrens Hospital for 3 weeks and my sister has been by her daughter's side every day with no time for herself. Tiffany went to the hospital and gave my sister a personal pedicure. Tiffany took my sister coffee and magazines and gave her a pedicure on the house. My sister and I booked an appointment here in Nov 2016. It's taken me a while to leave a review. Honestly, the the aesthetic of the building caught my eye and their website looks good. I thought it was a cute place. Anyhow, my nail tech did a great job with my gel manicure but my sister got acrylics, which ended up looking terrible. I tried to get my sister to talk with the manager but she wouldn't because she was just ready to go home. My sister and I sat far away from each other, which was a bummer because neither tech was very talkative. The restroom was dirty and smelled bad. Like there was a sewer issue. Every other week I enjoy my time I get to spend with my nail artist, Lora. I support The Nail Room, because I value that it's owned by a womyn. I appreciate their work is quality, has an artistic touch and that I can have a conversation with my nail artist.   If I wanted to be rushed out of my nail chair I would pay a lot less to not receive the quality I get from The Nail Room. I went to this place to get my nails done and the person who did my nails told me that I didn't need acrylic and that my nails would be okay just with the gel. As soon as I left the place a nail broke. I called them right away to get it fix, but they told me they didn't have time. I just texted the artist who did my nails she told me that I would have to pay $45 on top of the $25 I paid yesterday. What the heck? Who does that? I'm not going to go back to that place ever again. This place is no good. Everywhere else in e gotten my nails done I can go back if something is not right, but not this place. And FYI, they don't know how to do POC nails. I'm so done. I really wanted to like this place because it had such great reviews, but my experience was not awesome. It took an hour and 20 minutes to do a single color shellac manicure. Within a day the edges of my nails needed to be filed, and my cuticles don't look cared for at all.  They only use  cnd and the light gray color I chose looks very wavy. Read Less

Best ever!!! Darian is AMAZING. I have been getting my nails done for almost 20 years and this chick is the BEST.  I went in with busted acrylics and could not even really identify the shape...I wanted coffin/ballerina shape with an ombre french and she delivered flawlessly. Darian did not even bat an eye over the fact that she had to use three different color powders to get the perfect ombre.  I had been to countless other shopping center type nail places and none of them wanted to do the french ombre...idk if they were lazy or just didn't know the technique but after almost giving up on my french ombre dreams I found Darian at The Nail Room!!! Worth every penny! I didn't realize how janky the nails I've had in the past were, until I came here. Allie is the best! She built my acrylic, instead of gluing it. That in itself has been such an improvement. They fit better, are more comfortable, and they don't lift. Shaping, color, and THE NAIL ART! Amazing!
