The staff at Sixth Avenue Salon are what make this salon special. You won't find more genuine people than Cindy and co.! On top of that, the polish is wide in color variety and very high quality. They do a really cool treatment with some kind of pink melted wax during a pedicure that's just so relaxing and fun. Can't recommend this place more. Terrible. Walked in, there was one lady working. She told me she'd call her cousin to come do my nails, and said she would get there in ten minutes so I should wait. 30 minutes later, after the previous client had AN ENTIRE MANICURE DONE, the cousin got there. My toes? Don't even get me started. Let's talk about my nails. I said I wanted gel over acrylic, she painted over my natural nail after CUTTING HALF OF IT OFF. My nails are so short they're in pain. She also painted over my cuticle and all over the tops of my fingers. I'll post a picture. I asked her twice how much it was, and she didn't respond to me, she looked at the other lady who had no idea what my nails looked like. This lady told me it was $70. I've had pedicures at fancier locations and at cheaper/just as high quality- of-a-result places. But. Dealing with Cindy for scheduling and spending an hour with her working on my feet makes me think this is where I'd like to put more of my pedi money in the future. My sisters and I visited this salon earlier this week.  Our experience was extremely positive while at the salon; we were treated like the old friends!  Unfortunately the shellac and polish were poorly painted.  Only three days later the polish and shellac is chipped and lifting.  We would recommend this salon for its ambiance but the finished product was disappointing. I dropped into Sixth Ave salon without an appointment and Cindy Tran was instantly welcoming. I had been traveling all week for work and had another flight that night, she recognized that I was tired and not up for extensive small talk- which was much appreciated! I got a mani/pedi, she had great attention to detail and massaged my hands and feet (+ paraffin wax and got towels!) for what felt like an extensive amount of time! The salon is hip and very clean.
