Kennedy is a true professional with a perfectionist's eye. She's also funny and warm and genuinely cares about providing a great experience. I heard about Kennedy through word of mouth a couple of years ago. She does such a wonderful job! I always get a shellac manicure and the quality is fantastic. I have had the manicure last for up to three and a half weeks without chipping. The only reason I removed the polish is because by that point, my nails had grown out so much at the nail bed. My only hesitation to writing this review is that I don't want this little gem to get so popular that I can't book an appointment! Stop wasting your time and well earned $$ at other nail salons. Shek is definitely the best in SLC when it comes to quality and value!! I'm just bummed it took me 3 years and countless mediocre, overpriced manicures to find Shek.I have Kennedy work her magic on my nails, but I've seen Aja's work as well and they are both amazing. They truely take pride in their profession and it shows. Kennedy always makes sure I walk out of their cute studio loving my new nais, and never complains when I'm overly picky/critical or even change my mind halfway through my mani. Their basic manicures are perfection, but they also do some stellar nail art. I finally found a place that will do glitter and foil to my liking!  My manicures last forever - they grow out before they will ever chip. And in the strange case they do get messed up, I can just give them a ring and come in for a free touch up. They truely know the definition of great customer service.As I mentioned in my opening sentence, the icing on the cake is their prices.  Extremely affordable for $30 gel/shellac manicure, and only $5 for art or glitter/foil. It's all about Jessica B.! I've been to a number of places here in Salt Lake City and none have compared to her level of expertise. She is a true artist. For $30, I received a French style shellac/gel polish manicure that was simply out of this world in terms of precision and beauty - when everywhere else was charging $50 with all the up charging. She was using pretty advanced techniques I haven't seen before, even in Beverly Hills. There were absolutely no up charges, just the stated price and great work followed. I was bummed I couldn't get Kennedy when is initially called, but now I'm glad. I'm not letting anyone else do my nails from now on when I'm in Utah. Yes, she's that good and the prices are right.
