The only reason I’m putting one star is because I have to. Every time I go there 1. I have to wait such a long time. 2. They charge you to fix your broken nails (when all other nail salons will fix them for free.) 3. They’re rude. They stop working on your nails to watch tv or have a conversation amongst themselves. 4. They change the price nearly every time I’ve gone. One day my fill is $25 while the next it’s $27. 5. They only accept cash, when they really need to get with the times. A lot of people only have their cards on them most of the time. Last time I went the lady made me feel so awful for not having cash even though I told her to charge more than 30% of a tip for the inconvenience. Honestly just don’t go there. Read Less

I have had my nails and toes done here for 18 years. I am incredibly picky!!!! They take quality time on your nails. They are perfectionists. Be prepared to wait if you need too. If your time is limited, call in for an appointment. It’s well worth it! I know a lady who drives all the way from Las Vegas, just to get her nails done here. WOW. No one has done as good a job as them EVER! They are ALL very talented!! They are fair and honest, and very kind. I am amazed at the price for your money 💵. BEST price in town. Got a pedicure done here 3 years ago and still suffer the consequences. I contracted a fungus and my nail is still ugly, rough, and dead. To make matters worse, treating it doesn’t allow me to paint it and try and hide it. I have tried over the counter stuff and even saw a podiatrist and I still have the fungus! Won’t ever go back!! I never go anywhere else unless I'm out of town! Then I'm sad that they're not as good as Victor or Kim would've done. There can be a wait, but I'll happily wait on quality! I've been coming here for over 15 years. They're as personable as you want them to be. If you're not speaking with them, they may speak to each other. I took my girlfriend here last month to get her nails done. The gentleman, Victor, did a very good job and he was very meticulous on making sure her nails looked great.  $40.00 for a manicure with gel nails. Is that a good price? I have no idea. The only downfall I found of this place was that they were severely understaffed, we waited about an hour to get her nails done. How did this place even get any good reviews?? Their service is typical Asian. This is not a compliment. The guy legitimately insulted my nails and instructed me to put my hand in a nail-remover jar. Seriously. (I know they look bad, that's why I came in, obvi)After watching them take another person's cc, they informed me that I was cash-only "see da sign", and told me to go to the ATM at the tavern two doors away to get cash.So, I didn't get my nails finished. The 3 of us walked right in mid Saturday and got seated right away. I'm not sure if it was good luck or what. They weren't too busy, for the first half hour. A young boy who's parents own the place started on my sister. While we watched he was only 15. He was very meticulous and did a great job. He even put up with our many questions. They do a great job with nails. My nails always look perfect when I leave there. However, if you're looking for great customer service, this is not the place. I continue to go here because I love how they do my nails, but they are definitely not personable. After moving to Utah I was looking for a good place to get a gel manicure. This is the first place I called that actually does them. They cut my nails short right away without even asking (I always want to keep my nails long and get the gel to keep them strong) They looked ok but after a few days my nails were breaking very far down and chipping so I went back to complain. The rude lady told me gel is not meant to make your nails strong and it must be my fault they were chipping. Funny, that's never happened in the year I've been getting them. So they said they could fix them. They ended up putting a full acrylic set on me which I did not want. I had brought my 4 year old daughter with me and had promised her she could get her nails painted. The lady rolled her eyes, then said my daughter's nails were too small to put a little flower on. Which is not true. Other places have put tiny flowers on there for her. After yelling at her to sit still (she's 4!) She told her not to mess them up or she wouldn't fix them. I went as a walk-in and they put me in a chair for a pedicure right away! The massage chair felt great and the water was a perfect temperature. The woman who did my nails was really friendly and gentle. A pedicure is 25 and it comes with free callous remover! Read Less

Called for an appointment, got there and had to wait 45 minutes. Then the girl was SO rude and starts chopping my nails without even asking if I want them cut. They did a great job with my nails, the gentleman was very meticulous and did three coats. I did feel a little unwelcome when I walked in and it bugged me that they didn't have color samples to look at while I waited (they kept them by the nail station but gave them to me when I asked.) My friend and I came here during finals because we needed a break. My roommate actually got a pedi earlier that day and she was the one who referred us here. She was raving about it, which is what made me wanna come!So this was both our first pedicures ever! And we loved it! Absolutely loved it!!!First, we got seated right away, soaked our feet, and got massages in the really new massage chairs. I had Tony and my friend had Kim. They are a family business and are so cute and friendly.  We talked the whole time they gave the pedis.Tony recommended a good color for me and I loved it. I was very impressed with the woman who did my nails, I regret not asking her name now.  The attention to detail she paid to each nail, turning it to different angles to see that she had properly polished all he corners and edges, and then using her nail at times to make sure there was no clear gel in the edges- sealing the tips etc. It was great, this is my first Yelp review I just want people to know she does good work, I'll have to post her name next time I go!! Royal Nails gets it right every single time.  I will gladly drive any distance to let these amazing people treat me well and make my nails look amazing.  I have short nails and I tend to have the worst, dry, horrible, disgusting cuticles. (how even do you take care of these things anyway?)  The winter wreaks havoc on my poor hands and nails.  Then in comes Royal Nails.  They fix me right up and get my hands and nails in perfect condition.  They're fast, and extremely detail oriented.  How many times have you left a salon and found that they missed the entire side of your nail? Too many for me to count.  My manicurist would not let me leave until he viewed my nails from every angle. The level of care here is definitely the reason I continue to return.  They really care about making sure you leave happy.I love this place and I don't think I'll step foot in another salon unless I'm like... in another state.  Even then I'd probably fly here just for the manicures.  What can I say? Came to visit my boyfriend's family in the area and decided to take my boyfriend's mom and aunt to the salon for mother's day weekend. The shop smells nice compared to chemicals and is well decorated as well as CLEAN! It was busy but the staff here was friendly and efficient. It didn't seem like we waited long. I do not like a salon or any place for that matter where the staff spend more time talking to each other in their native tongue, than to me the customer in  mine. (one can not help but think they are talking about you) The owner of this salon is a cranky old guy who never smiles or is friendly.  The pedicures are just very ho hum.  Also I hate leaving a place where they make you feel like they did you a favor for being there, rather than being grateful for your patronage.I take my business to another location who is happy to have me and wants to garner a relationship with me by (gasp) talking to me and learning my name!  Not to mention feeling pampered. Two of my girlfriends and I just walked in today and had some of the best pedicures ever.They do an excellent job on the painting and massaging, but the best part was the de-callousing and smoothing. My best friend and I made an appointment and they helped us right away. Their salon has a nice and clean feel to it. Lyn was so nice! We left the salon feeling really good about our nails. Even though it's a little more expensive($30 for manicure and gel) than other places around town, I will definitely be returning here. For the optimal experience, I would definitely make an appointment for a non-busy time of the day(otherwise you may waiting for a little while--this happened to a few people who came in after us) because their salon is pretty popular.
