I wish I could leave 2 reviews. Because part of my experience was wonderful! First off, they were late to the salon, I had a 10 am appointment and they did not show up until after 10:20. I understand, everyone runs late sometimes, but when they got there, only one employee was running around trying to get everything ready, everyone else sat on their phones. Second, I LOVED my gel pedicure. The young man who did it was very kind, and gentle. I wish I could leave a 5 star review just for him. I would definitely consider going back just for a pedicure from him. Third, I wanted an acrylic french manicure, and I had a picture of exactly what I wanted. When I sat down to get my nails done, the girl was buffing her own nails and did not stop until she was done. If this is something all manicurists do, I'll gladly revise this portion, but I have never seen anyone do that before. I then showed her my picture, she looked at it for maybe a second, said great I can do that, and then proceeded to give me a manicure that looked nothing like my picture. I was already running late for the rest of my day, so I didn't say anything, I just went with it, which was my mistake, but I feel like if she had looked at the picture just a little longer, it could have been avoided. She also got acrylic on my cuticles!!! When it started to grow out, there was a large ridge that caught on everything! I had to file it. My nails starting lifting after a few days around the edges. I have been getting my nails done for 10 years in Utah in SEVERAL locations, and Model Nails has had the BEST costumer service. If you don't like something they're doing, tell them and they will fix it. They will accommodate you. The owners are amazingly friendly. Read Less

The first technician—they switched me halfway through the service—was very slow. He left my nails “soaking” to remove the shellac for over 20 minutes, much longer than necessary, and left me to perform a service on someone else. My next technician was sloppy, cut my nails too short, did nothing with my cuticles, PURPOSELY MADE AN EFFORT TO PAINT UNDERNEATH MY NAILS (??), didn’t paint anywhere near my cuticles on some nails, but painted onto my finger on others. He left shellac bits everywhere that I’ve been picking off undeneath my nails and on my hands. One of my nails also has a ton of excess paint on one side that makes it looks awful, see photos. To top it off they were reusing tools without cleaning them and the place is not clean. One of the worst experiences I’ve had. Go to another salon. Read Less

My nails look great and they do a good job doing them BUT I walked in at 5:25pm and they said it would be 15min; they didn’t get me back until 6pm. After showing the lady he color I wanted for gel nails she did the manicure part and then just left me sitting at the desk... she didn’t tell me where she was going or if anyone would be back for me. I waited another 18 minutes for someone to come over and do my gel nails. You can tell they are very busy and probably short handed- but if they couldn’t get us in, in a timely manner or if she would have quoted me a longer wait that would have been better. Read Less

I heard great things about this place, so i was expecting something great! But tonight i was extremely disappointed. The guy doing my nails seemed rushed and careless. My shape is uneven and missing polish and acrylic applications. The polish that was applied to my skin wasnt removed. Read Less

This place was amazing. They took their time cleaning, massaging, and painting. They were very friendly. I called and made an appointment for four and right when we got there they had four people ready to work so we could get our nails done at the same time. When we left my friend tripped getting into the car and chipped her nail polish so we went back inside and they repainted it and fixed it right up and we're very friendly about it! Read Less

The first time I came here it was a wonderful experiences although I had to wait over an hour just to be seated. The. It took over an hour to get them done. I got the new dipping powder so I let it slid. The second time I came I waited over an hour and a half they couldn't keep who came in first straight, the nails where awful. The lady that did my nails did a good job. But the lady that painted my nails was awful! She would paint a part of My nail get up and go do something. This happened after every nail! Gross and disgusting!! Ever surface looks like it has never been cleaned, never.They did a nice job on my toenails. Don't use the restroom or you might lose your lunch. I don't know how they could be clean with their nail supplies when the rest of the business looks awful. Won't be back. Read Less

I love this place!! Best most honest people I have met. I am a regular customer and Iv seen almost every situation they have encountered from teenage picky drama queens to people who don't speak English or a language they don't know. I honestly love them. They will do everything they can to make their customers happy! I honestly never had much interest in getting my nails done but they have done so well with easing me into bolder colors. They have always done what I have asked for and they know my personality enough that the times I just leave it up to them, they know what I will be comfortable with :) love this place so much!!! I've been getting my nails done for fifteen years and been a lot of places.....My nails always look amazing and last forever here, I'm so rough on mine so durability is a huge factor for me, I also have young children so being able to call ahead and get in on time is important to me and they've never had a problem getting me in and doing them quickly! I don't get my nails done often (only a handful of times in my quarter century) but they got my sister and me in rather quickly on short notice and listened to what we wanted. Worst experience ever. I asked to get a French tip with white and pink and the shape of my nail squared. The Asians first cut the nail too short then kept filing them down after I told them multiple times I didn't want them to file them down. Then the shape of the nail is rounded off! After a week of having them they are already starting to go yellow. I will never return to this place. Read Less

Literally worst nail salon I have ever been to. Two of my girlfriends and I went here to get our nails done before a wedding the next day. We called to make an appointment for a shellac manicure and pedicure for each of us. When we got there they acknowledged us but didn't know what we were coming for. After each repeating what we wanted several times they finally got us started after standing around for 10 minutes. My nails look okay except they were filed super short, and the shellac doesn't go all the way down to my cuticle so it already looks grown out. My toes look good but the pedicure itself was terrible. Barely scrubbed, worst massage ever, and the woman kept leaning forward so much that my foot literally went in between her boobs. Literally, made contact. My friends nails are crooked, she tried to tell him they were crooked but he didn't understand and kept filing unevenly until she took the file from him to do it herself. He trimmed down her cuticles so much it made her bleed and he just ignored it, no apology or recognition of the cut. Her toes look good, and she felt like the pedicure was fine except she filed her toenails so short they actually hurt.My other friends nails were filed so short that the skin underneath them is showing, and she does not have short nails to start with. The pedicure woman soaked her rolled up jeans during the pedicure. Overall, we all felt like we do our own nails better than the $50 we spent on them with Model Nails today :( Read Less

Model Nail is great. I had an impeccable manicure today for $12. Last time I was in, I left one of my favorite nail polishes in the salon. I came back two weeks later and they not only remembered me, they had saved my nail polish for when I came back. Not all of the workers speak English, but the quality of their work makes up for it. They have flat screens a-plenty and also offer waxing, feather extensions, and glitter toes. They also do a mean shellac manicure for only $20. Read Less
