I am super picky about where I get my nails done because it needs to be clean and being from California, my expectations are high. I had to go to two other nasty nail places in Provo before I finally went to Juicy Nails at the Riverwoods. I had the most delightful experience. My nails look gorgeous! I went in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1:30 and there was one other person in there just finishing up her pedicure and at first I was a little skeptical but it was probably normal for a random Wednesday afternoon. The lady who did my nails I'm assuming was the owner because it was just her and her husband there and the moment I sales in they greeted me with kindness and her husband pulled out my chair for me and sat me down. I had gotten a gel manicure and she easily spent 45 minutes taking her time and making sure each nail was perfect. She was also such a delight to talk with! I would definitely go back to this place in a heartbeat! It's no nice place in California but for Provo Utah you can't get much better than Juicy Nails! I am from out of town and booked two royal pedicures here for my sisters birthday wile visiting. The place was clean and the chairs were comfortable. It was a really peasant atmosphere and the nail color selection was great. We had amazing pedicures and lived our deluxe treatment. The stone massage and paraffin felt sooooo good. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It is very overpriced, terrible service, very dishonest owners. They were stressed that I asked for a very simple design on one finger, lied to me, and took 2 hours for a very very overpriced gel manicure and pedicure. Almost 2 years ago I was looking for a new place to have my nails done. I found Lien at Juicy Nails and I won't go anywhere else! I visit her every 2 weeks and she has become like family. My wife and I have started a tradition to take our three girls and all go get pedicures. Yes I get teased by a few friends that still don't dare try it. But we have had great experiences every time we have gone to Juicy Nails in the riverwoods. We call ahead and they are always prepared and waiting for us. Love Juicy Nails in Riverwoods in Provo. Family owned and operated. Very clean, professional and friendly. They have done my nails now for 2 years... I am treated as family. Lien (nail tech) and the others are awesome. My color stays on longer then any other salon. I always keep my appointments I set. . I know they hold the spot for me to have time to do an awesome job and have an awesome experience in their salon...so out of respect for them and the next customers or so they don't have to turn away business when waiting for me or I don't show or am late. it is important to keep to the time of appointments I schedule because I love coming here and respect them and their business . Very disappointed with the quality of pedi I got. Worst one ever. Polish was all bubbly too. Gal was totally rushing. My nails were rough because I had peeled my gels off and I had to ask her to file them smooth before putting on the polish! Other salons have used a dremmel to buff the nail smooth before. They don't use uv to dry the nails so sitting for several minutes waiting for them to dry and gal had gone to another lady so after 10 minutes we paid and left. 30 seconds later my friend hit her big toe and the polish came off the tip so we went back in to see if she could just Touch it up and she acted like it was a total pain in the butt and even said "why did you leave so early what's what is your go?" The prices are way too high for what you get. We went in for pedicures, and they said they charge about $5 more (it was actually like $10 more) and they charge for the paraffin wax. I went head in between shits at work. She honestly did an ok job but it took FOREVER. I was late for work and she even knew I only have an hour and a half. I only got a fill which typically takes 45 minutes at my usual place (they were took busy to get me in and I was desperate). I pay $26 for a fill with shellac and figured this place would be a similar. It was freaking double!!! Then when the charge came through they overcharged my card. I left a cash tip and instead of the $50 that I signed on the receipt, it was $57. I'm pissed to say the least and WILL NEVER GO BACK. AVOID this place for sure!!!! The worst! Read Less

Please read this warning!!! After getting a pretty decent pedicure there on Saturday, the nail tech had me put my feet under the UV light so the polish could dry. I told the guy that I needed to leave, but he told me I needed keep my feet under there longer. I now have 2nd degree burns on the tops of my feet and I'm in excruciating pain!! I called to let them know what had happened and was told that I was not allowed to speak with a manager, that I probably just have sensitiv...e skin, and that it was MY fault for not letting them air dry. Of course I have somewhat sensitive skin--we all do! Our feet haven't seen the light of day since last summer! I didn't even know I was being burned until later that night. The same thing happened to my friend who was with me that day, so it wasn't just me and my "sensitive skin". They obviously don't care that their clients are being scorched, so please be careful!!! Worst customer service ever. Kept trying it out thinking it would get better. Never did. This last time was the worst. Went with a 2 year old. She sat there perfectly and they painted her nails and the whole process took no longer than 5 min. They then charged me the same price for her as for me when they did nothing more than paint one coat, not even a top coat. They make you feel like you are an inconvenience to them every time. They try and do everything as fast as they can. There is nothing relaxing about this experience. I walked out more stressed because of the way they treat their customers. I made an appointment for 3 pedicures at 6 pm. He asked if we could be there at 5:45 instead and I said we would try, but to keep our appointment at 6. We arrived 5 minutes to 6 and the place was closed. A car pulled up and asked if we were the ones there for our appointment. When i said yes, he said that because we were so late, they had to cancel our appointment and we would have to reschedule. They don't close until 7 pm. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I really enjoy going to Juicy Nails for a pedicure.They do a hot stone massage that's awesome!The guy, Tony, is actually really good, as are all the women. I've gotten acrylics done here and they turned out really well.If you're going to get a manicure, get the paraffin wax; so nice!I do have two complaints though:1) They usually only have one person working there, so walk-ins and day-of appointments are nearly impossible. 2) (This is a weird one...) Their music. It's three songs that just loop over and over and over. By the time my pedicure is finished I never want to hear Leona Lewis, Colbie Callait or David Archuletta again. It's bad. I've been to this salon a handful of times. When I get one of the women, it's a good experience. But the man who works there is unbearable.  This last time when I called to make an appointment I requested one of the women. However, when I got there, I ended up with him again!  For the pedicure, his massage was painful. I repeatedly asked him to be much softer. He smiled and said "sorry" but would not be softer. His paint job was horrendously fast and sloppy. I have bubbles and globs in my polish. I still gave a 15% tip, and he brought the receipt back to me insisting on a 20% tip!  I won't go back again- he ruins the whole salon, even though the women do a good job. Read Less
