I have been a client for a few years and I absolutely love nails on 9th from the cleanliness to the inviroment to the people. Personally I love Amanda! She is so bubbly and full of life and is always willing to have fun and listen to what ever you’d like to talk about (personally that’s big for me) She always makes you feel welcome and does AMAZING nails! She’s truly great! I’ve never been disappointed by her work. Every nail tech on nails on 9th has their own spin on things but they all seem to make it amazing. I had a pedicure with Jessica it completely sucked water was cold i told her from the start all she did was try to add a small amounts of warm wanter through out the pedicure i finally stright told her to empty the bowl & refill it once it was completely freezing she didn't fully take the time to scrub all the dead skin off my feet she didn't get my feet a little wet before trying to sugar scrub them & lastly she didnt even clip my toe nails enough or evenly she seemed more worried about ruing her nails the whole time or getting something on her clothes. I've tried a few girls here & all of them have no impressed me they all work way to fast their work isn't quality i guess im used to high end salons when i used to be able to afford them. Worst nails everLindsay was nice to start but unrealistic about her time available -- when I asked if I should wait or go elsewhere, she estimated she'd have enough time for gel mani and pedi. Instead she did a polish change only for my hands, not even soaking, shaping, tending to cuticles or massage. She charged for a full gel manicure nonetheless. When it comes to colors.... she had about 20 gels (half blues and greens, only 1 red) and said she did mostly acrylics so had little gel choice. She had to borrow a different red from another nail artist that wasn't what I had asked for, either, and I had to settle for it. Toes? I did my own polish removal and application, again from limited polish colors as the salon didn't even have a simple red to go with the hands.Never here again! Read Less

The people there were great, I went to get shellac and they were able to fit me in on my tight schedule. My problem is after one day the shellac started lifting and cracking. It is now day five and it looks horrible. Read Less

this place is absolutely horrible!!! I spent 4 hours here with McKenna NEVER GO TO HER!!! she talks way too much and her work suffers for it my nails ended up looking like SH*T they are rough I can see all the file marks she only put on 1 coat of top coat when everyone knows you are supposed to do 2 If I could give this place less stars I would. I spent 45 minutes soaking off before anyone checked on my and if they would have checked on me sooner they would  have known that my nails previously had a gel top coat that you cannot soak off she ended up having to drill it off. my nails are not even she did not ask me what shape I like my nails to be she left them super sharp on the edges. I was not happy about this one bit. she is 21 years old with the maturity level of a 13 year old. she was very unprofessional she was swearing will talking to me. it was despicable. the price is way too expensive with what I got. I spent $45 for this crap. I could do a better job and I don't even have my license. later after leaving a cooling off I called back and spoke with a gal names Cacey who requested that I send her some picks of my nails so she can bring it up to the owner and see if they can get me in with them to redo my nails. this was on 08/08/2015 today is now 08/10/2015 and I have not received a response back. this is the worst service that I have ever had and already my nails are starting to life from my natural nail. I will never go back to this place an neither should you. I would rather go to an Asian salon where they do not use approved products to get better service and better product for the price. this girl should be fired from this salon in my opinion. Read Less

I am very picky about my nails and the man that did them for years moved to FL.  It seems like the nail salons in UT are mostly Asian and they don't understand quite what you want. So, I bounced from place to place trying to find a new nail tech. I'm sorry but I think a vast majority of UT women get their nails done by just anyone & think they look good but.. . for those of us with good taste, we can tell (psssttt "ladies they don't look good") Find a good salon like Nails on 9thI stumbled upon Nails on 9th & YAY I found my new nail tech! This is an American Family owned place. There are a lot of gals there (Of course, I have my favorite!) I'm so glad that I found them. I was about ready to take my nails off because I was so discouraged that I couldn't find a good regular nail tech. WOOT I Found one!! As long as I reside in UT, this will be the place I go.
