We were walk ins looking for a decent place to get a pedicure. They said they could get us in immediately. They then had us sit in the pedicure chairs for 30 minutes, all the while they started immediately on new people walking in who also didn't have appointments. We were gradually getting more frustrated as we would have been happy to leave and come back, but instead we waited all that time. When they finally started on us, it was rushed and half assed. The lady who was doing mine was cleaning her instruments out in the water where my feet were and she wasn't paying attention and she stabbed me with one of the pointed tools. Not a big deal, everyone makes mistakes. But then it happened again and it actually punctured my foot deep enough that there was a significant amount of blood in the water. Super busy when I was there. Phone was almost always ringing with calls. I originally went in for a pedicure but I was there from 5:30-7 just for an acrylics set so I opted out of the pedi. I got the matte finish, which I would not recommend with white. Blue pigment from my jeans will come off on my nails and I have to wipe it off, it’s kind of like a chalkboard. Besides that, service was fine considering how busy they were. Only negative is that the person helping changed twice, so I had three separate people doing my nails throughout my time there. EDIT: white matte was terrible. I did the dishes once and they ended up getting all crackly and disgusting. They pick up dirt and color and you can’t get them back to white. I've never been to a better nail salon. It's clean and do bright and relaxing in there. Not to mention my nails have lasted and looked so good without any chips for an entire month! I REALLY liked this place first visit! I got a gel manicure and was very impressed when I came back three weeks later and they were still looking great. However I will not be back because of my experience on my second visit. One of the men helped me and removed my gel for my next gel manicure. He was so harsh and hard with my nails during that appointment, my nails are still recovering 3 weeks later. He scraped them and used the drill to make them too thin. I've never had an issue with thin, weak nails but my nails are sensitive and painful to the touch since that appointment. My nails have patches of red under in the nail beds and one nail will not stop splitting at the top. I have never experienced anything like this from the many nail salons I have gone to to get gel/shellac in the last five years. I would not recommend this place. Read Less

Update: owner called to apologize and set discounted appointment for next day. Enjoyed the service. Definitely love the SNS powder technology instead of acrylic. I made an appointment a week in advance. They didn't even bother to call me or text me to cancel. The whole room of employees just looked at me like... "What... We have enough clients. I have been going to Deluxe Nails for at least a half a year now or more. I usually get acrylic, gel and Pedicures. My daughter also frequently visits the salon for acrylic & gel. The salon itself is clean, staff is friendly and they do a good job. My 3 star rating is because of their problem of not keeping to appointments you make. Every single time I come, I make an appointment in advance (for both me & my daughter)...I never just “walk-in”. Every single time, without fa...il they are not ready for me. This is not just a couple minutes. This has ranged 15 minutes all the way up to 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I have discussed this on numerous occasions with the owner “Y”, and it must not be too important to him. He tries to apologize, yet there is always an excuse and continues to happen every time I go. For that I am very disappointed. I sure hope he can figure things out with their so-called “scheduled appointments”, I’d love to keep coming, but won’t be able to put up with it much longer. UPDATE: “Y” called me personally this time to apologize for my daughters appointment being 30 minutes past our scheduled time. He asked that I make appointments through him specifically, and offered us a gift certificate. Always have to wait a long time, even when I have an appointment. It's pretty clean and they do a good job. But when I book an appointment and arrive a few minutes before, I expect to be taken in on time, not wait 30 min. My time is important to and I'm just as busy. Read Less

I came here for a fill because my regular salon was closed that day. I called and they said to come in. The wait was long but it was fine. I sat with the young man who does all the talking and requested glitter polish. He said he had to put a regular polish underneath but I explained that I don't like that look and prefer the coats of glitter by itself which we had went back and forth about until he finally said okay. He did a good job on the nails but I noticed he only put one coat of clear polish at the end which I didn't mind at the time even though anywhere else I go they always do two coats. When the time came to pay he had charged me $18 which I proceeded to tip another $7 bringing my total up to $25 for a fill. Then I heard the most disgusting thing any employee anywhere has ever said to me, "People usually tip me $8..." Excuse me? That is the rudest and most unprofessional thing you could ever say to a customer tipping and that was enough for me to never come back or recommend this place to anyone at all. To top it all off, later that night, hours after I left the salon, I went to gently ring out my loofah in the shower and all the glitter on my finger nails slid up wtf! I made an appointment here and I still had to wait for over 30 minutes before they even started on my nails. They kept seating people that got there after me first, even though I was on time to my appointment and I was there before them. Then the guy doing my nails was making rude comments and making fun of some of the other customers in the salon. He was in a hurry to get me done so he didn't do a very good job. I went in today before seven and was told that it would be a 30 minute wait. I left after 8pm. Waited almost an hour and a half for service. So frustrating. I understand you guys are busy but be honest in your wait time. I could of gone elsewhere but by the time I left, all other salons were closed. When they first opened I went about every 3 weeks. Slowly they started getting worse about taking appointments on time. I make appointments so I can be in and out faster. The last couple times I went I started to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour before moving to a chair. Maybe if they didn't take every walk in right away they would be able to keep appointments on time. What really stopped me from going is the quality started getting worse. The gel UV light stopped working and instead of making sure my nails were actually dried he added a top coat and cured that. So that night my nails were mushy and came off on my clothes and anything I touched. I went back in to get them fixed and he told me I had to pay for a new mani. I decided to give this place a try even though I had read some bad reviews.  My experience was actually quite good.I walked in on a Friday afternoon around 4:30 for a manicure and French nails. The problem with this nail salon is time management.  They keep saying yes to everyone coming in the door and those that have appointments have to wait at least 30 min. past the time of their appointment.  Instead of saying yes we can take you say -  we are packed right now and will be prioritizing those that have appointments first.  After that, we will get in you in but it might be 30-45 min wait. Been here once before to get my nails painted, was decent service. Came to get my acrylics done another time. I had called ahead and asked for a certain nail tech to do my nails, set up and appointment, and arrived on time. When I got there, I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes and didn't get placed with the requested nail tech. Didn't think it was a problem until I noticed that my nails did not look up to par and had numerous errors that I had pointed out. After fixing said errors, my nails still were not the same shape, length, or size. I had acrylic under my nails and they were very sharp. I called the day after and spoke with the manager and said I was not satisfied with my nails. He had said to come back to make me happy which I did. I had made another appointment to come in and fix my nails, but once again, I was waiting longer than my appointment time. I would not recommend going unless you have enough patience to wait longer than your time and leave with unflattering nails. Read Less

I have come here twice since it is literally a minute from my house. Both times I had an appointment and both times I waited about 45 minutes. One time was a pedicure with my 4 year old and it kind of ruined the experience sitting there that long trying to keep her still. The pedicures were okay but not great and I felt like they were so rushed to get people through. The second time I came to get shellac on my nails. I waited a very long time and they had me move to a chair and wait longer. Then they did half the job and left to help someone else and then came back and finished. It took almost 2 hours for plain shellac. I don't think I would come back simply because it's too busy and I can't wait before and during my appointments for that long. It ends up being a stressful experience instead of a relaxing one.Read Less

We waited an hour past our appointment time!I had been here before with a friend and had a decent experience. Good gel nails but mediocre pedicure. I made a 4:30 appt for 2 manicures and one gel. The place was packed with people waiting. Two of us finally got started at 5:00 but my other daughter didn't even get started until 5:30. My gel manicure was rough! Way overpriced for just okay work. The big sign outside says you get 20% off but they are so overpriced that the 20% "discount" is no discount at all. I paid $58 for a shellac manicure and pedicure which would have been $72 without the "discount ". At any other place I've paid around $40. I'd read mixed reviews on this place but decided to give it a try.  I walked in and quickly got in for a regular manicure.  The woman who did my manicure filed my skin right off the bat, so I was kind of on edge the whole time, worried it would happen again.  I had to point out several places that needed better shaping, and when she applied polish there were a couple of lumps.  I think the polish was too thick, but she didn't fix it and it didn't go on well.  As I looked around I saw other nail techs who seemed to be doing a good job.  I wish I'd asked their names, but it was awkward with my tech sitting there.  If you go here and have a good experience please share the name of the tech.  I'd be willing to give it another try since it's close to me and seems very clean. If you want a good experience don't have one of the guys do it. He was an absolute jerk. I wanted to remove my old set of acrylic nails and do a fresh set. He first tried to rip them off which hurts!!!!  I wouldn't let him and asked to soak off. He was mad and argued with me.  I insisted and a different guy had him do it. After soaking for a little while he started grinding them down and was VERY rough. He went too deep by my cuticles. The old nails weren't all the off and he was going to start glueing on the tips.
