Do not go to this place for nails. Took my little sister here today to get a full set of nails for her graduation. Her nails are bumpy, crooked, and flat out not good. The board said $25 for full set of aryclic nails. They were saying $50 and my mom is like that is not what the board says. We finally got the pricing right. When the lady was done with my sisters nails , my sister told them she was not happy. My mom had already paid and all the guy said was he got his money /she got nails and nothing could be done. She cut off the corners to my nails that I spent months growing out. I'm very susceptible to ingrown toenails, and both of my big toes got them within a few days. They also sped through our pedicures, and charged us 85$, just for painting our nails. My toes had paint all over the sides. She put me under a gel lamp? Even though she didn't use gel on my toes? This place is overpriced!!! I went in for a pedicure and asked for gel polish and she did a horrible job. The polish was overlapping the cuticles and she didn’t even shape my nails. This was the worst $46 dollars I spent. Don’t waste your money or time. Read Less

Should have listened to the reviews but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I wish I hadn’t. Went in to get a full set acrylic nails and I was not happy at all. The acrylic was left over lapping my cuticles and were to thick. The thickness of the acrylic I can deal with but not the acrylic over lapping my cuticles because my nails keep getting caught in my hair every time I comb it. I have been getting regular gel manicures at Haven with Payia since June, and EVERY experience I've had has been wonderful. I give her a vague idea of how I want my nails to look, and she goes above and beyond every time. I get so many compliments on my nails, and the manicure looks amazing until my next appointment. I had the most horrible experience here. I walked it to get my acrylics done about a week or two ago. The woman who did my nails was very careless. She would toss my hand down and very roughly pick them up. I told her what I wanted on my nails and she huffed and puffed about it (glitter tips, that's all I wanted). She started filing the wrong shape so I asked her kindly to fix it. She tried to convince me out of the color I wanted. I gave in and chose a different color...only to have her paint them the wrong color anyways. My nails are so uneven. There's bubbles and sides that look completely different. During the service I noticed that one of my fingers really started hurting. Later that night my fingers were in so much pain-past the point of just being annoying. I have had acrylic multiple times before and I had never been in so much pain. I wouldn't even let my fiancé hold my hand. I called one of my good friends who is a nail specialist with Paul Mitchell. She informed me that she had either bruised my nail beds or filed off way too much of my natural nail. I couldn't get them removed because it would be too painful so I had to wait it out. AWFUL. Did not even massage my legs OR FEET. Didn't get the dead skin off my feet (hey didn't even try) they had the cheapest nail polishes and my polish job sucks! Don't waste your time. I went in to get a fill for my acrylic nails. Their fill costs $18 which is fine... EXCEPT THEY CHARGE ME $47! Not to mention the acrylic was all over my nails. The man who helped me was very kind and funny but by the time I left there was acrylic all over my fingers. My nails easily lifted and they hurt. I've been getting my nails done since I was 14 years old and I've had some bad experiences but this is by far the worst I've ever experienced in many years. The tech who did my nails wasn't even worried that the powder was literally dripping from the tip and crooked. she didn't even bother to shape them I had to tell her that they looked thicker on one side than the other. even after she tried fixing them they looked awful. My thumbs are beyond uneven... asked for it to be corrected... didn't care... mentioned it again he just said okay. Super rough scraping my polish off... when removing my polish with cordless file... kept burning every nail. Horrible experience. I love, love, love this salon! I am picky and a perfectionist and Haven exceeds my expectations every time I get a service here, which is at least every other week. I also love going to Haven because everyone is so friendly and attentive. They always put up with my idiosyncrasies (doing a little bit of my own filing and picking numerous colors to try) with good humor and patience. I have tried virtually every technician on staff and they are all amazing. The space is gorgeous and relaxing, super clean and airy and there is always a great selection of jewelry, scarves, bags and candles to pick from - perfect for gifts. I usually don't usually frequent mall "nail shops", but i was desperate.  I was in Utah visiting for the weekend and i needed my nails done for the Marine Corps ball.  I went in asking for a mani and pedi.  The male nail actually wanted to talk me OUT of getting a pedi.  I had asked for color suggestion for my cobalt color dress.  He asks "Will the dress cover your toes?"  Me; "yeah". Tech: "so you really don't need a pedi".  O_O .  So we proceed with the mani.  I picked out my own color.  They definitely are NOT the cleanest place.  The tools that they used were NOT brand new and it didn't look clean at all.  This place is just YUCK!!! I booked my appointment for my wedding nails with Haven and I cannot say enough great things about this place! They were able to accommodate all 6 of us at one time and they allowed us to bring in our own breakfast and mimosas. The owner was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly for us. The nail techs were all friendly and every single one was professional and precise. I got gel polish on my nails and 4 weeks later the polish is STILL on! I have never had gel polish last this long. Walked in for 2 pedicures at 7 on a Friday night, we were seated right away. They took time and did a great job. Took about an hour for a pedicure and shellac on toes. They don't reuse any of the files or foot scrapers. All are new! I love that.  You get a foot and calf massage tooThey are very "thorough" with cleaning, taking the calluses off. The foot soak is über nice. The chair has a full back and even ass massager!  this was all very nice All I paid was $25  what an awesome deal. I will be coming back.  Such a find for inside a mall!!! I've given this place three chances, and I'm just not impressed. The staff is friendly, and I like that they have the kid-sized pedicure chairs. But the pedicures I have received have only lasted a week.For the price, it's not worth it.Lilly nails, in Clearfield is so much better, and half the price. I'll be driving there from now on.
