I had an absolutely amazing experience with this salon. Vivian did an amazing job on my full set and did exactly what I asked her and more. There are not a lot of nail salons that give great massages and offer massages for hands and feet. But they do and It was amazing. Any bad review on this spa is insane, you have to be pretty high maintenance to have had a bad experience. I saw a couple reviews saying they couldn’t fit them in and so now they are mad. Just because It says walk ins welcome, doesn’t mean that they don’t have reservations for others. Think of It as a restaurant. If someone has reserved the time you better believe you will wait. I decided to treat myself to a pedicure while on vacation. I booked an appointment at Ski Nails based on Its Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I opted for the Royal pedicure and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The leg and foot massage was really relaxing and my nails look great! Read Less

THANK YOU SKI NAILS!We had a large group of ladies come in for mani's and pedi's, a girls morning out prepping for a wedding that weekend.Mike was so helpful leading up to the appointment and even offered to open early for us to make sure he could accommodate everyone. He was also really flexible as there were a lot of last minute girls who wanted to attend and the headcount kept changing. Even two more showed up the day of who didn't RSVP  and they handled it with grace!There were only 4 staff members that day, but they got everyone the services they wanted and in a really timely fashion. Yes, some of us had to wait a good amount of time before it was their turn, but they were happy to wait because they received such great service. I had Vivian as my technician and I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS WOMAN! Not only was she positive and kind, her work is highly skilled!! I got my gel mani two weeks ago and it still looks amazing! The way she shaped my nails has got them to grow without breaking! Seriously, VIVIAN, I LOVE YOU! This is my go-to nail place since it's right across the street from my work. They are surprisingly pretty quick to respond if you make an appointment through yelp! Otherwise they always answer when called.They are super clean, everyone is extremely friendly, and they pay close attention to detail. They are also really good at multi-tasking and attending to everyone, even when they are busy. And honestly, they are not too pricey! I went in to get my acrylic nails taken off. This was the cleanest and most detail oriented nail service I've had. The woman who did my manicure was so gentle and took care to not break any of my already fragile nails. I had a gel manicure done as well and it looks awesome. I was in and out of there in an hour. I go to the same nail tech and I have for a long time, I totally am going here instead from now on. Very reasonable pricing too. Read Less

There is nothing really ski-like about this nail salon, besides the close proximity to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Nevertheless, if you want a clean and friendly nail salon that will take their time and do a great job...then by all means check this place out.  I spent $53 on a basic pedicure and gel manicure.  If they had the paraffin wax treatment as part of the manicure (like VN Nails), then I would throw in another star. Finally a salon I can call home. Coming from California, I am very picky about my nail techs. I like my nails almond shaped and Vivian, the younger nail tech, did such a great job. I've also seen the coffin shaped on another woman who was getting a fill & that was the bomb too. My appt was at 5:30pm and I was out of there by 6:30pm. For my length and shellac it came out to $50, which is reasonable for a job well done. The salon has an amazing fragrance and is super clean. The service is amazing and prices are very reasonable. I've been looking all over the valley for a nail salon that I like and is a reasonable price and now and I've found one! The salon is spotless, bright and beautiful. There isn't a strong "nail salon" smell and everything isn't covered in nail dust. The staff has great attention to detail and I didn't feel like they were rushing my manicure. She was very careful around the cuticles and my french shellac looks great and I hope it lasts becauseI love it! Read Less

I went to Ski Nails and overall was very satisfied. I got a pedicure. The massage chairs are wonderful. (Warning, they are strong! I had painful bruises on my back a while afterwards, although it felt great at the time!) Reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my feet normally feel baby soft after a pedicure. They did not feel that way after leaving here. :( I went home and used the tool I had to finish them. That is my only complaint. I wished she would've spent more time on them. The salon itself is very clean and looks like they are sanitary as well which is extremely important to me. I'll definitely be back, but I'll make sure I leave completely happy with the pedicure next time. Read Less

Not busy today but still made a appointment!  People are very nice and place is really clean!They have lots of colors to choose from and four different types of pedicures!  Since I was trying the salon for the first time I just did the basic pedicure.  They were awesome and the pedicure was perfect and done beyond my expectations.  I was early and got to watch them do a set of nails and was very impressed with their attention to detail, making sure the customer was completely satisfied therefore I will be back to get my nails done.  So very glad they are close to home and a fair price for work done.  Great job nice people, clean shop and good customer service can't ask for much more.
