I called to set up an appointment because of the great reviews and ended up leaving a message that resulted in some phone tag with a woman named Brittany. I finally got a live person on the phone and asked for her. The woman who answered told me that Brittany was not there. I said that I really didn't need to speak with her, in particular, because I just wanted to set up a many/peti appt. She then oddly 'snapped' at me and said (now imagine a rapid, snotty tone--as if someone didn't wish to be bothered by you...and this IS a quote), "I don't even know what you're talking about. I just got on my shift and Brittany already left. " Now when I say 'snapped,' picture the voice of an annoyed high school girl, sort of like (and I'm dating myself) the stereotype of a Valley Girl from CA. Me: Well, I just called to schedule an appt. Brittany left me a message and I'm just calling back. I just need to schedule a mani/pet." Snarky woman (again, in a rude, bothered tone): "Well what to you want?" Me: "Like I said--a mani/peti. It's for my mom and I for my wedding on Saturday."Her (still with a rude, bothered tone): "Well, that doesn't tell me anything. I can't answer you because you're not being clear." The bantering went on a little further, with me finally getting off of the phone out of frustration over making a simple appt.I won't patronize this place, since whoever answered was incredibly rude. At some point I was even considered having a nail party here for my bridesmaids prior to my wedding. It just worked out that they're all flying in and getting their nails done in advance--which I'm so glad because I wouldn't want to give this place my money. Perhaps this salon is suffering from being too popular and has forgotten that congenial, respectful customer service is the bedrock of a successful business?? I'm not sure. All I know is that I am now, I'm in search of somewhere to get a mani/peti where I don't feel like I'm being talked to in a condescending manner.

I visited Amorous for the first time and was extremely pleased with the pedicure I purchased. The spa was clean, Cheleste was very friendly and professional. I would absolutely go back and will recomm...

Love this place! Our business sends everyone across the street to Amorous. The gals are intelligent & down to earth with great color sense.

Moved into Murray 4 months ago and was skeptical, trying to find a new go-to nail salon for pedicures. I had a favorite that I visited every 2 weeks in my last town and wasn't willing to make the 45 m...
Moved into Murray 4 months ago and was skeptical, trying to find a new go-to nail salon for pedicures. I had a favorite that I visited every 2 weeks in my last town and wasn't willing to make the 45 minute drive out, just for a pedicure anymore (or spend $60+). I did my fair share of searching and found Amorous Nail Lounge in the Yellowpages, and was impressed with the location, pictures, and reviews. I booked a 2:45pm appointment and easily found the cute, trendy salon in Cottonwood Heights, pretty close by. My nail tech was very skilled and friendly and my toes are in great shape again for Spring. I am thrilled and cannot wait to go back!

I have no idea why the negative review. This place is new and not in a great location for drive-by business. However, it is a GREAT salon/lounge. The inside is very well done, the atmosphere is relaxi...
I have no idea why the negative review. This place is new and not in a great location for drive-by business. However, it is a GREAT salon/lounge. The inside is very well done, the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is quite professional. I was very impressed when 2 appointments showed up, One wasnt on the books, and they immediately called someone else to come in- she was there within 10 minutes! I will go back and reccomend Amorous Nail Lounge to anyone.

I have no idea why the negative review. This place is new and not in a great location for drive-by business. However, it is a GREAT salon/lounge. The inside is very well done, the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is quite professional.
