I came in with my friend to get a pedicure today. Being a first time mom and a full time worker, Im constantly on the run. I was so excited to finally get out and treat myself. We rushed to get there with an hour till close time. I immediately felt bad as I've also been in Customer Care for the last 10+ years and have been stuck there after hours due to late customers. As soon as we walked in, the youngest worker was immediately annoyed and made it obvious she was not happy we were there. The whole time we got our pedicure, we even felt uncomfortable to talk to each other since the tension was obvious. It immediately angered me since the whole point was to relax! I was told a wait time and ultimately ended up waiting twice as long as I was told. I went in for a white tip fill and got the worst fill I have had in 15 years of having my nails done!! The white was uneven and you could see right through it in some spots! She didn't file all parts of the nails and left pieces hanging. She missed the end of the tips completely, but painted the white on my fingers in several spots. The whole thing was terrible!! Then she had the audacity to charge me twice what I normally pay for this service plus a 5$ fee for using a card!! I couldn't believe it! Went to get my nails done a couple weeks ago. I wanted a new set so the lady had to take my existing  acrylic nails off. As she was tearing my nails off she took my real nail off half way and it was bleeding horribly! She still put a new nail on and I have now developed a  fungus. This lady is the new owner of Luxery nails and should know better! Will NEVER go back to this horribly over priced chop shop! Read Less

I went in to get a pedicure for my birthday and can't believe how bad it was!! The woman working on my feet rarely looked down at what she was doing, spent MAYBE 1 minute total exfoliating the bottoms of my feet and when I yelped in pain as she cut a section of my cuticle completely off, she couldn't have cared less. All in all I was bleeding in 7 spots when I got home. Even if she hadn't cut my toes to bits, the actual paint job is terrible. I'm going to have to wait until all the cuts heal in order to take off the sloppy work. If you like your feet, I'd find another place. Not good. My daughter and I got shellac manicures that cost $40 each, much higher than other nearby places. Our nails do not look good at all, the nail techs weren't very nice, and the tech cut my daughter's cuticle so far it bled. No apologies or anything were given. I will never go back to this place. I was a little hesitant about trying this place. After reading the reviews I figured I would either love it or hate it. I had received a manicure one week ago, I was not very happy with the results. I walked in to ask what the wait was, and they were able to take me right then, but I decided to come back an hour later. When I came back, not only did they remember my name but they remembered what I was coming in for.The manicurist was top notch, and the massage was one of the best I've ever received. Overall it took about an hour to do, but there was attention to the little details, that really make your manicure pop. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that I would've liked a little bit more cleanup on the cuticles. We recently moved to the neighborhood, and I'm really glad to find this place. I will definitely be back, and I would have no problem referring friends and family here also. Read Less

I had a really terrible experience here. I treated myself to a mani and pedi before a vacation. During my pedicure they started my gel nails and asked me to hold the light on my lap. I told the gal that I was uncomfortable doing that and she said its the only place I can get it done because all of the other stations were full. I would've gladly waited. I felt so rushed and was extremely disappointed with the end result. My gel nails were peeling up before I even left the airport. The whole experience was a joke. Well this one may just be partially my fault. I should have done some research before coming in to get my eyebrows waxed. But I had just moved into town, started a new job and was desperate. Anyway, I walk in and was told that no one had time to do it. That's no big deal, so I started to leave... Then a woman came out of the back room with food in her hands and mouth and said she could do it. Ok....She leads me into a room and asks me to lay down (still with the food. Gross.). But here is the best part. A small child follows her into the room. Yep. The woman proceeds to messily wax my eyebrows while the child is leaning over me and giggling. Now I'm thinking to myself "Wtf? Where am I? Surely the child will leave, right?" Nope. She stayed the whole time talking to the woman (grandmother?). I was a little in shock when I left. I had to go home, wash the grease off my face and fix my own eyebrows. The parts I wanted to keep were mostly gone and the parts I wanted gone were still lingering. Yikes! Read Less

I loved coming to this place for an affordable quality pedicure. They are very affordable for everything included in the pedicure. I am most picky about them getting all of my calluses off of my heals. They did great and I was very pleased. They sanitize everything very well too! Read Less

I have been going here for my acrylic nails for a couple years now. I love the owners specifically doing my nails because both of them are chatty like me. I hate the awkward silence when getting nails done. This last time I switched it up for my Halloween nails and went to a more rounded shape and I think it looks fantastic for my Cruella Deville look. "hated it" is an understatement. It was dreadful. Having been here before, I've never had a bad experience until last night. I took my sister in law here for her birthday and treated ourselves to a mani (me) and a mani/pedi (her). After we walked in, a group of girls walked in for their appointment which is fine, I get it. Although, it took a ridiculous amount of time to get seated, we were within the hour of closing so we couldn't really go anywhere else. So we waited, waited a good 45 minutes before anything was actually done to us. A girl that helped me was probably no older than 19 and a total joke. Her attitude was terrible, she couldn't care less that we had waited for so long, she was so quick with painting my nails that none of the edges were cleaned. I had paint on my skin and the polish was not thorough on my nails. I hardly ever get my nails done unless I feel like treating myself, which I feel like what these places should feel like, being "pampered". She had asked for my card before she started painting my nails which was a bad idea on my part given the chop shop job she did on me. I paid for mine but refrained for paying for my sister's until her job was done. Her's came out perfect and she loved her experience which all that mattered but for me, I was ticked since the total came out to $55 total. I decided to bite my tongue at first and shake off the experience and focus the spot light on my sister. After my nails were dried, my lady put cuticle oil on my fingertips but it was so heavily done, I could oil a pan with my fingertips. She insisted that it would rub in so I bit my tongue again. When we got in the car after everything was said and done, I could NOT rub in this dang oil. It was so much that made everything oily and greasy. I then had enough and walked back in and explained my not so pampered experience with two of the older women in there. I was shaking so bad because I have never complained about service in my life. They then began to call for the girl who did mine, and they didn't want to talk to me. So my lady walked out and with an eye roll said "what's wrong.", obviously couldn't care less about what I was upset about. I tried to keep my cool until I just lost in when she started smirking at me and being incredibly sarcastic about "wanting to fix it". Which just couldn't be fixed... I shouldn't have to come BACK in and have my nails done right. I demanded a refund because I didn't feel like the service I got was a service, it was more of a chore. She snapped and said I wasn't getting a refund but she'd fix the problem. I refused because her negative attitude made me feel so uncomfortable. I will never go back and if you ever get this girl again, ( no older than 19, short, skinny ). It took me 4 hand washes to get the oil off.... What a nightmare. Stressed me out more than a doctors visit. Stopped before they opened and asked about price and  told $55. Was charged $60 when then finished up Why? Went for pedi and gel for nails.Rough treatment pushing legs and feet in and out of water and did poor job of trimming toe nails. Meanwhile she got the machine to heat gel and placed it on my lap and plugged it into the electric. She did my nails when feet soaking so I had to shut the massage chair off while she just kept painting my nails. There is no way I could relax holding on by dear life so the machine didn't fall into the water and zap me. After she finished my nails she spilled lots of oil on my pants and never said sorry or attempted to clean it up. Now with my hands still heating up she did my pedi massaging my legs which were bent and never bothered with the bottom of my feet. Afterwards I had to wait in the chair with hands done and feet wet.  Never ever have I had this done in reverse. This was a really a terrible experience dealing with the rough treatment and feeling like she was in a rush with no one waiting.I have since washed my pants which the owner said would remove the oil. I went with one of my co-workers. It was right after work. Surprisingly, it was pretty busy at 430. They made us wait...which was okay. There wasn't a lot of room to wait in, but you could tell that lots of people came in and out.It was a reasonable price--not to expensive, and they did a good job.I wish they did have more colors to choose from. One of the main reasons I gave them a 3 was because of their chatter. They would talk and look at us--which made us uncomfortable. It was clean, and comfortable though. Read Less

I'd say its an ok place to go without an appointment. It was clean and bright but one of the technicians was talking so loud I couldn't have my own conversation and then at one point several were on their cell phones while working. So if your looking for ambiance this is not your place. Quick pedi or mani for a somewhat reasonable price, sure. I'll try some place else next time. My shellac mani did turn out great though! I used to love this place and thought they had a great quality pedicure for a good price with decent massage chairs.  However, I am downgrading my previous rating.  The quality of the pedicure just was not there the last time I went.  They barely filed the bottoms of my feet and heels, and where they've given me a foot massage in the past it didn't happen this time. Best cheap pedicure around! $25 includes long massage as well as paraffin wax! (Seriously! Who else does that?!) The people that work here are really nice & fun. It's also super clean with great massage chairs. Nothing at all bad to say! Read Less
