I am new to the Bountiful area, me and a friend tried out this salon. The prices are decent so we had not tried another salon yet although they're done really thin, and almost always chip. I've never had them look rather consistent in shape either. After my last visit I went to get a fill, had a few missing since they chip after a week I noticed a darker spot on one of them after the nail tech had been inspecting it since she didn't say anything I didn't think much of it, I thought maybe it could be a fill line since I had filled them a few times. Well with the red nail polish I could still see the spot and  with in a week the spot grew larger and darker! I took the nail off and had a huge spot of fungus underneath! I will NEVER go back!!!! Worst place ever!! They never clean the tools and stuff they use... (GO TO END OF REVIEW FOR RECOMMENDATIONS) the girl that did my acrylic cut me 3x and one was REALLY bad... was bleeding and she just kept going and cut the same place again and when I pulled my hand away she looked at me and laughed and said I was being a baby. It got blood all over the stuff she was using and finally just put glue on it so it would stop bleeding, without cleaning it. I got a really bad infection from it, my entire finger was huge and swollen, had to go to the doctor (nail fell off nxt day bc of infection) where they used a syringe to drain the infection. Within 3 days most of my nails had fallen off, I went in to have them fix it and the owner was extremely rude and said they wouldn't fix them or do anything because if there was a problem I needed to tell them before I left my appointment (which makes no sense - no one expects to have most of their nails fall off and left with a huge infection before they leave the salon). I will never go back!!! Try Spa Nails or USA nails- they're the best and in the area! Read Less

They never quote an accurate amount of time for how long it will be until they can get you in. Even if you make an appointment, they will not honor the time. It is very frustrating. I just went in there for my appointment, and they said it would be 45 more minutes. So I left and came back 30 minutes later, hoping maybe they were running a little ahead. They then told me they would not be able to get to me for another hour and a half. Ridiculous. Read Less

My mom and I have been going here for years! Never had a bad experience they are always fast to get us in and taken care of! They take good care of the salon updating frequently and it's always very clean! I have a little one that comes with me on occasion and they are always so sweet to her, and are very kind to lend a hand (while mine are being painted)! Love this place! Read Less

DO NOT GET THE HOT STONE PEDI. I come here every other week for my shellac manicures mainly because I live just a few minutes away. For the most part they do a pretty good job but once in awhile you get someone that takes forever and your nails chip within a few days so I would recommend finding someone you like and sticking with them. Today I opted in for the hot stone pedicure. Total waste of money. It's $10 more and she literally massaged each leg with the stone for LESS THAN 30 SECONDS! This was one of the best pedicures my wife and I have gotten in a long time. The staff was excellent at their job and were very friendly. Liz's Nail Salon was eh. It was just about the least welcoming nail place I've ever been to. Instead of feeling "pampered", I felt like just another person walking in and out of the store. My pedicure was again, ok, but every part from the massage to the cuticle clipping, to the filing was just average. I felt like my nail tech, Nancy, was just going through the motions. I chose the basic $25 dollar pedicure and then was ridiculed and was told that option was "no good". Well, why have it on the menu then?! I had to go back and edit my review to give her 1 star instead of my original 3 stars because after I told her 3 times I wanted to take my shellac off and get a manicure, she stops mid-buffing to tell me 5 different times it will be $5 more to take the shellac off. I understand that lady, can you please just give me a manicure? I understand I have to pay. Then she had the audacity to laugh in my face with disbelief. I'd much rather go back to Bountiful Nails across the street - if only they were open on Sunday's! :) Read Less

Worst pedicure I've ever had. I never write reviews but I had to. It was an older lady. She obviously didn't care about doing a good job. She went through the motion of a pedicure but flew through it. Everything hurt. Her paint job was horrible as she rushed through it. How can you do an entire pedicure with gel in 15 minutes?  I will have to go home and give myself a pedicure now. Read Less

Not my favorite place. Nancy wasn't very responsive to any questions, concerns, or requests. She put down every statement I made. She tried to explain why nail polish was on my cuticles and missing on part of nails as well on my skin. She insisted that it was normal, which I know for a fact it is not as I get my nails done every other week elsewhere. I will not be returning. They don't have any concern about clients and as a client based business they should listen, not argue and tell you that you are incorrect and don't know what you are talking about. Not a good functionality of a business, My nails also chipped two days after they were done, which is not normal for shellac. Not a good experience or product for the price. Read Less

Getting a pedi here used to be such a nice experience, but here's how I feel when I go in now. Hi I'd like a pedi, and I'm so sorry you will have to do this horrible thing by working on my feet.... Not that there is anything wrong with my feet, but you seem to despise doing this. And please make sure you put me  in the old worn out massage chair. Then grind on me to buy the most expensive pedi, when all I wanted was just the basic, which I apologize for. Also I won't need to watch your TV while you "cheese grate" my feet with disgust. So yes turn them off. They make Great Wall decorations and I'm sure you save money buy not letting anyone watch them!  I hope you can race though my pedi so you have time to go relax in a "good" massage chair and get back on your phone! I come here once a month for a spa pedicure and shellac manicure. It's the cleanest and friendliest nail spot in Bountiful and Woodscross. I recently moved to the area and was on the hunt for a great spot like this. I always leave satisfied. I've only had my nails done by Linda and she does a phenomenal job !!! Read Less

I was looking forward to a manicure and pedicure at the salon since I thought it looked pretty nice.  I don't mind paying a little more if the service is a little better.  Unfortunately, the service they provided did not match the price.  The girl who helped me may have been in a bad mood, but she did not smile, not once.  Another girl did my pedicure which was adequate, but not great.  It felt a little rushed and inpersonal.  My manicure, a shellac gel, had bubbles -- little air pockets and a couple of nails had spots where the shellac had not covered completely.  I was hoping for good results, but it's just okay if there is nowhere else to go.  I wish I could write a better review.  My sister went with me and I she had similar feelings.  The cleanliness was good, and they took us in pretty quickly, but they also rushed us off. I took my sister out to get manicures and pedicures and as soon as our pedicures were done and they asked me to pay, which was fine but then my girl wails went so fast to get to the next customer that she missed a lot of spots and didn't even cut any of my hang nails off. Read Less

I just have to say that I have never had an experience this awful while getting a pedicure. I had never been to Liz's nail salon before and thought I would try it out. After a 40 minute wait (they told me 15) I was finally allowed to sit down. 20 minutes later they claimed they were finished with my pedicure. I didn't not get my cuticles trimmed, the exfoliating scrub, or the hot towels that were suppose to come with my pedicure. When I asked them about it they refused to work with me and told me that it must be a typo on their service sheet. I have never had a basic pedicure that did not include these things so you can see why I found it odd. Instead of fixing a wrong they demanded their money and sent me on my way. This place is horrid! My sister went in to get nails done, and not only were the nails crooked, but instead of using black nail polish they used navy blue. They also come off very easy. They are poor listeners and when I did go to get my nails done the woman who worked on them made them far too sharp. And they refuse to refund if they do a very poor job. DON'T EVER GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Read Less
