I would normally rate 5 stars but the last 2 times I've gone, lacking in service and quality. Two weeks ago I had a manicure. Too/showed the tech the tear in my thumbnail and ask she glue. She ignored me. Not acceptable. Yesterday was the worst! The man tech Tom T was way too rough with leg and foot massage. I almost came out the chair and had to ask he not. He didn't remove the rough skin from my heels nor did he use a base coat before my polish application. Was in/out in 35 minutes when usually my pedicure is close to an hour. They were not busy so no excuse. Sadly I won't be returning. Clean salon but the techs seem to ignore customers, wish they understood English better. Read Less

Worst set of nails i’ve ever gotten. I’ve been here twice, got nexgen nails and both times they were uneven and far too thin. The day they got done my nails were already chipping at the cuticle. 3 days after I got them done two of my nails broke, then the day after that 4 broke all at the same time ripping off all of my real nails underneath. I called and asked what they could do for me and they refused to help me out even though the nails would’ve been fine had they not rushed through and made them so thin. Never going back Read Less

At age 59, I had never had a pedicure and my wife offered to take me. I will have to say that it was just awesome. The,atmosphere was great, the people very friendly and both of our techs, Linda & Tammy, did an amazing job. I just have to wonder why some people just cannot seem to be happy about anything, then they have to go on a public site and spew their ill comments. We are going back tomorrow for round 2. The location is convenient and atmosphere pleasant but workmanship is lacking. Especially if you come on a busy day, they will rush through the whole process and not do a good job. I had the Deluxe pedicure, priced at $30. Despite asking 3 times for the water in my spa pedi to be hotter, the water was barely even tepid. The technician would turn the temp up and then immediately it would get cold again. My massage chair was weak. Could barely feel anything even after adjusting to highest intensity. Tech used so much oil on my legs during massage it was practically dripping off. Gross. The hot stones were barely warm, and the massage with those was no massage. Basically just the technician sliding them over my legs with zero pressure. Could barely feel the stones touching at all. Never had such a weak massage. I politely mentioned that she should free to press harder, but that didn't make a difference. When it came time for polish, the tech couldn't find the polish I'd picked out earlier and given to her to use. She said, "what was it called?" I didn't know the name--had just picked a color I liked! Overall, the whole experience was not great, and not enjoyable or very relaxing. On a positive note, the polish job was decent, not messy and on the cuticles like I've had before. Also, the employees were friendly, and I was able to walk in and be taken care of with no wait on a Friday at 4:30pm. In the end, although the folks there were friendly, I won't go to Wakiki again. Wasn't impressed with the services at all could have done better job at home... prices are so high.. I was in a rush had to leave the town I was expecting much better service with the price I paid..nexGen nails are so uneven and bumpy and I was keep on telling her to fix it and it still the same .. felt like they were in a rush even though no one else was there on top the water for pedicure was so cold.. I was telling them to use warm water and the lady kept on saying it will warm up and the next thing is she's done with the pedicure.. won't recommend this to anyone around this area there are much more better places to go.even if you pay a high price, one should get the quality service.totally regret going there !!!!! I have been going on and off here since it opened. And the service has been getting worse over time. The men that work there are terrible and I always get stuck with one of them now. I went in and they greeted me and my sister, there was a wait, we were offered drinks while waiting. When we finally sat down my daughter was with me, we had even called in advance told them what we wanted, told them again what we wanted once we got there, told them again when we sat down and our nail artists greeted us, told them again when they were about to paint.... The point in me telling them what exactly I wanted was so as to get it. I just wanted the special, $35 Monday-Thursday pedicure and manicure. My pedicure was amazing, and I wanted to get my 2 year olds toes painted just so she can be like mommy just like she wanted... My sister went with me and had her toes painted and was left with nail polish on the middle of her foot never cleaned up, one of her nails messed up and they simply just painted over it instead of removing the nail polish causing the nail to be uneven. However my toe nails were perfect but she said, "you don't need to paint her toe nails." I'm sorry, but she is my daughter and she was being a good girl, this was our little treat out and I wanted her to be apart of it. Not going back. Plus my nails looked like crap... I've been here several times over many years and I don't know why I keep going back. Dumb. For what services you receive its not worth it. I feel like I paint my nails better than some of the nail techs there. It's a very uncomfortable atmosphere with no one being friendly or talkative. The polishes are outdated and beyond thinned out. I just started going here. I've been about 5 times now and I really enjoyed the paraffin wax at the end and they have stopped doing that as an included luxury. You now have to pay extra for it. I don't particularly think any nail tech does a fantastic job so I won't be going back. I know I can find a better place with better prices. No reason to pay more if your not getting anything extra. I have been going to Waikiki Nails since they opened and I have never been disappointed; I always have a great experience :) You really can't beat a simple mani/pedi combo with massage & lots of extras for $35! The staff is so sweet & friendly and they really listen to any requests you might have (less/more pressure when massaging, suggestions on nail color, etc.). You always get your choice of a drink (water, margarita, etc.) & they make sure you're comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and the salon is extremely clean. There is Food Network or HGTV on the big screens (on silent with captions, of course) & they have the very latest issues of all kinds of magazines for those that like to do some light reading :) But you can definitely close your eyes & completely relax while enjoying the massage chairs. My first time here and had a great experience. I got the ultimate pedicure and manicure. Less than $50 total. You get 10% off your pedicure when you do both. I was there for two and a half hours. Lots of different products used, multiple step process, good chairs, solid massage, including my neck and shoulders. I decided to try another nail salon since my tried and true place is always busy. After reading Waikiki has margaritas, I was sold. The place was packed just after lunch on a Thursday during Spring Break. While the nail color selection is massive, most colors are old and dried out. Waikiki offers 8 different pedicure packages that varies from $25-$42...a bit more than what I'm use to paying but I guess they have to maintain their alcohol and wine expenses. I love Waikiki Nail Spa!  I used to go to a place down the street in Murphy but this tops it.  They provide all of the same services and them some.  The atmosphere and staff are professional and pleasant.  The margharita's are just an added bonus!  They email you weekly specials which include deluxe and combo deals which makes it even more affordable and easier to treat yourself regularly.  This is the best kept secret of nails right in Wylie.  I'd highly recommend Waikiki.
