Absolutely the worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. The woman doing my nails made me bleed on 2 different fingers, did a sloppy paint job, and put some base coat on my nails that made my nails burn. I've had plenty of gel manicures, and I know that it is not supposed to feel like my nails/ skin are burning. She did not say a single word, offer me a drink, or even apologize for making my cuticles bleed. My advice is to take your business elsewhere. Read Less

No no no. Acrylics were horrible. They got glue on my skin, cut my skin when trying to cut my cuticles. All of my cuticles are bleeding! White spots on my black polish, and the nail wasn't even fully covered. Dents in my polish. Went back and they still messed up. Friends have gotten infections because they don't properly sanitize their tools. Limited color selection, and low quality. I never write reviews but this place was so bad I had to. Read Less

I had a Groupon for a hot stone massage and went this afternoon.     When I called to schedule it they asked me to arrive a few minutes early for the paperwork.   The lady at the reception desk was very sweet and got me in as as soon as I filled out their forms.   The therapist, Bonnie, had an amazing touch and also an appreciation of when I wanted conversation and when I wanted silence.    It was a really wonderful experience I feel asleep once or twice during the massage.   It was incredible. I've never had a technician work so fast on my nails before. Also never have I ever had them offer to fix my crooked nails to make them worse. I asked him to fix them many times & I finally gave up when I had no nails left to work with. Never will I be returning here. Read Less

If i didnt have to give a star..it would be minus 3 stars...the tech was rude from the get go..rushing me to pick a color...not completely cleaning the nails to reapply new powder...filed natural nails down to stub without asking and the lifted my nub up in air to say "pretty?".. WTH??! Really??!!.. She rushed through my process like a mouse on steroids barking stupid comments as she filed away at my skin and cuticles..when i would pull my hand away because she cut or scraped me ... again....she would pull me hand back aggressively and say.. " you ok..no big deal" and carry on. At one point I asked her to just leave my nail and go to next one... she muttered something under her breath in her native language and grabbed the spray bottle and sprayed it all over my hand. I later found out (2 seconds later) it was pure alcohol...and again stayed.." You alright!!, No big deal" And if the process wasnt torture enough when it was time to paint my nails she was impatient and sloppy... It looked like a 3 yr old had painted my nails. Gel polish all over my hands and fingers..coming over the sides of my nail bed and under my nails...my nails were unfinished and sharp on squared off corners....needless to say....that was a huge 45 dollar waste of time..sore hands.. cut fingers..and a crappy paint job...should have stayed home and trained my dog to do it for free...would have looked a heck of alot better!!! Paid $40 for a gel mani and a color change pedi. Went around 5:30 pm and waited maybe 10 minutes. After sitting down he turned on the machine that powered his light, causing a random bowl of miscellaneous crap to fall into my purse. He spoke very fluent English, and made good conversation. He started talking about how he hated Texas and stated how he disliked all their views. It made me uncomfortable. But he did a good and quick job. The color change was much cheaper he said than a pedicure, and it still included shaping and buffing your nails. The lady who I paid was very rude, when I asked to ensure my tip would go to him she just said "yeah." and obviously spoke rudely about my question to her coworker. I'm actually very fond of this place and always have been. I've been going here for almost 4 years now whenever I need anything done and i have to say that I leave satisfied 90% of the time. The other 10% is partially because of the possible wait - it's in a fairly small town and (in my opinion) it seems like one of the fancier places to go. You just have to pick the right time to go (obviously weekends will be busier). They also opened up the inside so it's much roomier with mani's on one side and pedi's on the other. I usually request (I'm not sure of his name), the manager to do my nails because he definitely knows what he's doing. He can probably come across with a bit of an attitude at first but he's actually really sweet once you talk with him. Pricing is about as normal as you can get with whatever you're wanting. I've been to this place many times but I'm sad to say I won't be returning. I came in at 5:10 on a Tuesday for a mani/pedi. They quickly got my foot bath ready and I went to soak. Two other ladies were already waiting for pedicures and all the nail technicians were busy with customers. So I waited....and waited. Two women came in AFTER me and technicians started on them within 10-15 minutes of them sitting down. I waited almost an hour before anyone started on my nails! I have never had to wait anywhere near this long at this salon. If that wasn't enough, my technician paid great attention to my feet but rushed through the pumice scrub and then hurriedly did my manicure. The topcoat doesn't come close to covering my full nail and the color is uneven near the cuticles. There's also debris in the topcoat on two fingernails and they were cut too short. This was supposed to be a relaxing treat to myself after work but 2 hours later I just wanted to get out of there! Read Less

I have been many times and treated well, great service. First understanding many do not speak English, they are learning and if you ask someone will translate they are learning. Someone in your family was there once up on a time. They know key phrases. The work I've had has been great, they are kind. If you've been overlooked say something nice. I totally agree with Ashton's review.  There's a man in the salon, he's the youngest looking male working there, Tam, is the name he told me. He was terrible doing pink and white.  When I can back to have them made thinner because he left them super thick the white started to disappear and he he got mad at me!  Grabbed my hands aggressively to look at them and blamed my short, athletic length as to why they didn't turn out.  I will NEVER go back there again!  I wanted to ESCAPE the second he started to work on my nails! I love the service given by Escape Spa, I have been going here since I was 16. Cleanliness is a must with a nail salon and Escape Spa Nails is a prime example of how clean a salon should be! They took care of me for four proms, three wedding events and every special party or occasion let alone routine nail upkeep. Over 1 1/2hrs sitting in chair with feet in tub. Water ice cold 6 employees walk by w out a word to me... pulled feet out 45 minutes in due to ice cold water. ..not a word still. Then they sit to do lady next to me w apt. Again not a word!!  I get up to leave and it becomes a frenzy. Told them I would stay w a discount.  Girl said Mgr Paul is busy but I can talk to him when he's free and she starts working on my feet.... I'll update how this ends and if Paul does the right thing. (Totally understand appointments first. .. but common courtesy and good customer service they should at least acknowledge me!) UPDATE: although I sat down for a mani/pedi the tech never started the mani so when I went to pay I informed the OWNER what happened during my visit. His first words: I'm short staffed and it's been busy...I told him I'm sorry he's short staffed but that is an excuse for poor customer service. I continued that I'm not here for a freebie but the treatment I received was so substandard that I believe I should get a discount. The first impression isn't bad. A bit nicer than your average salon. I was acknowledged promptly and seated in a pedicure chair. Sounds good so far, right? That's when everything went down hill. The manicurist made a rude comment about how I wore skinny jeans to get a pedicure (which I was able to roll up). After waiting for 15 minutes, I was looking at my phone and he abruptly says, "don't get mad ok, we will be with you in 5 minutes." After waiting for a total of 30 minutes, I rolled down my pants, dried my own feet and walked out! He tried to ask me why, and I told him, "I've waited too long." Worst salon I have ever been to! This place is terrible. It does look nice, and they do have nice beverages to offer, but the service is terrible. 1. I show my nail tech that I want a coffin shape, he attempts and it looks like a jagged cat claw and tells me this is $10 more 2. I tell him never mind I want regular square (rounded sides) because he apparently cannot do coffin. 3. I told him I wanted all glitter red, except one nail on each hand to have a Santa belt (he tells me this is ANOTHER $10 more) he then tries to paint only my tips red glitter, I told him no I want the entire nail. 4. He lazily finishes because he can tell I'm not happy. The shape was a rough square, uneven, gel missing in some parts, and the undersides so jagged they could cut someone. 5. The very nice manager comes and says next time he will do my nails coffin at a discounted price. He also fixed my jagged nails.However, he didn't offer the discount on THESE nails, meaning I won't be getting a discount ever. That is because I will NEVER be going back. My sister and I made an appointment for 2 on a Saturday. They sat us down immediately and we waited until 2:30 for our pedicures to begin. The woman helping me was rough and never so much as said hello. Her nails were long and rough, so much so she cut my leg with her nails. I now have a big long scratch mark on my calf. She never used lotion on my legs, just oil. Then when the pedicure was over she looked at me as if I was crazy when I asked for a towel to wipe my legs off. I use to love this place but it has really gone downhill. The last time I went, they were really busy and had people waiting for pedis. The person next me left and the lady rushed to clean the foot tub... I noticed that some skin left from the previous person was still liguring on the side of the tub. I see why this place is so busy! They're serious about their pedicures! Very clean, $35 for the elegant pedi and the staff speaks fluent English. It does get a little claustrophobic in the salon since its a long hallway of a building. Great nail polish selection, seems like many of us got the same happy orangey pink color haha. I HATE THIS PLACE! The Asian ladies here are soo rude! I brought my aunt here for a quick mani pedi and the place was full. The lady said it would take about 5 minutes to get to us but we told her we only had 30 minutes so we walked out and were about to head to another place that said they could take us right now, but the lady ran after us and told us she could do it in 30 minutes. We sat down and as soon as my aunts hands and feet were in the water the lady left to go work on someone else. We waited 5 minutes and then I reminded her we were on a time crunch.She came over to start on my aunts nails and started gossiping about me. A few times she even told my aunt that I was mad and was rushing her too much, but I had told her we were in a rush from the beginning. If she did not have the time to do her nails then she should not have ran after us the first time. My aunt had also asked her not to cut her nails short and to square them long but she cut them short anyways and rounded them! Then my aunt got a design on her nails and one of them was clearly crooked. I asked her to redo it and she said "You rush me, that's why I mess up, you cannot rush me."Overall it was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon in my life! I don't know how this place has gotten such a high rating! Do not support this place anywhere else is better! P.S the floors do not look very clean, and I saw multiple bugs!***If you're looking for a better place in Allen try Villa Nails & Spa. I sent my dad there last week and he loved it! The massage was great, but the amount of bugs I saw caused me much concern.  I did not like that the technician took used gloves out of her case to work on feet, then returned the same gloves to her case after my treatment.  Maybe her hands are protected, but are my feet?  I was scared to put my purse on the floor with the bugs, and my nails were just finished when they guided out me out of the chair, even though I expressed concern that the polish was still wet.  Of course, within 5 minutes, I had to come back in to touch up the polish.  Though I really liked the massage, the bugs have turned me off to search for another place.  And I guess whispering in foreign language is okay for nail salon customer service. Love! Love! Love! I've been visiting this establishment for at least a couple of years now and the ladies never cease to amaze me. All of the ladies do a wonderful job, but Christina is my absolute favorite and the only one I allow to do my nails, pedicure and wax. Loooove the leg and foot massage during the pedicure. Best nail salon I've ever been to.  The techs are pleasant, they serve you a beverage of your choice while you're there (including bottled-water, soda or my fave, wine),  they take pride in their work, and they are decently priced!  My nails last over the 2 week typical time-period and they don't peel or crack easily.  Polish usually lasts a long while.  One thing I am particular about when getting acrylics (which I only do about a couple times a year) is that I prefer French manicure with a THIN white line, not that fat white tip that  most nail salons do.  They do this well. :)  They also offer other services like waxing, pedicures and massages, but I don't usually take on these services.
