Meh. It was okay. I went in and got the powder for the first time. He put a polish or cleanser on my nails at the beginning that BURNED like hell, and continued to hurt for 24 hours. I wasn't pleased with the shape of my nails. They were not consistent. Some were rounded and others were square and I had to file them myself after. I wanted more pink on my nails which I should have spoken up and said. The time was what I expected, an hour on the dot. But it was more painful than I anticipated. It was also more expensive than I expected. Like I said it was my first time doing the powder, so I have noting to compare it to, but I paid $50, to have to refile my own nails. Amazing!! The staff is super friendly, going above and beyond what is expected of a nail salon. They care about you and how your experience is there. I’m bringing my whole wedding party here next month and they offered to reserve half of the salon for us and they provide finger sandwiches, snacks and drinks! My wife and daughter went to this place today for a mother daughter day with mani pedi. They were not busy but they will not be back. My daughter had a picture of a color and design and showed her lady, which she said ok. My daughters feet did not look like the picture at all. We ended up going to another salon so her toes could be fixed correctly. The lady never said anything to me, asked us if we wanted anything to drink. She told the lady that She didn't want to have the scrub or lotion on her legs and feet and she did it anyway. She asked my wife if She wanted the rough part of her feet done for $5 more dollars and My wife said no just the classic. But she did it anyway. We will definitely not go back. Read Less

Let me start from the beginning. I ask for a mani and pedi which is normally done at the same time but I guess as they were busy today I was told that my pedi would be done after I get my nails done. So I let the nail tech Tai know that I will come-back the next day for my pedicure since I had somewhere to be. He told me no no go ahead and sit down for your pedi and I will go and do your nails at the same time, so I agreed. I went and sat down got an uncomfortable pedicure since I was waiting for him the entire time and could not relax. He never came. After my pedicure, I go back-to sit down for him to finish my nails and he is doing someone else's nails!!! I then have to wait even longer to get my nails finished. Wtf?!He then starts doing my nails and paints my nails with thick gel paint that came out thick and clumpy as in the pictures and I let him know. He and a woman working there proceed to tell me that that's how gel nails are SUPPOSED to look. What??! NO! To say I am disgusted is an understatement. Sad thing is I had already paid $80 and tipped him $10. The woman who did my pedi was great but Tai ruined my whole experience and day. Not to mention my nails! I'll never be back. Read Less

I've been coming to this nail salon for AT LEAST 5 years, and I will never go to another salon again. They are the only people I trust to do my nails and to do them right! For any of the people giving horrible reviews, you've probably only gone once and never went back. We just went to get pedicures and had the worst experience. They finished my husband's pedicure before they even began to start mine, then had two different people work on mine. The lady next to me had an appointment but came in 20-30 minutes after us. The guy who did her pedicure and manicure is the one that finished my pedicure. The lady that sat in the chair that my husband vacated was in the water for almost an hour ended up leaving and she also had an appointment. Looking for a new place. Read Less

I come here every 2-3 weeks for gel manicure and pedicure.  I try to come at off times because they get crowded and have long waits. Pedicure rating--I get the deluxe which includes a hot stone massage. Wonderful!Manicures rating-- if you get Tai your mani will be done well and last. Worst experience ever! I will never go back!! All of my nails were uneven. The polish didn't cover my entire nail on most of my fingers! The lady made my cuticles bleed on every toe! My toe still hurts from cutting my nail too short!! And after asking him to trim my nails, he cut them so short I barely have nails! So I decided to try a salon closer to my residence, only because I was pressed for time. The NEXT time tho, I'll be going to my regular  salon. They did not open at 0900 like the times says on their door. They opened at 0930. My nails were beautiful when I left, I got my nails dipped in powder, and this morning I noticed one of my nails already chipping. NOT good, usually when I get them done in my usual spot, my nails, the color etc etc last for an entire month. Guess I'll continue going to AB nails  in Oakcliff. They're cheaper and better. What is the point of making an appointment, if you're gonna stick me (and the 2 other ppl I made the appt. w/) on the pedi chair for an hour? No exaggeration. Why didn't I just leave, you ask? Only because the 2 people I had with had a LOT more patience than I did. I understand things beyond control happen, the apology offered would more than sufficed...and it did, until you asked me to input my tip after I ran my card. Didn't ask me if I wanted to tip, DIRECTED me to. Pretty ballsy and assumptive. Respect my time, don't lie to me. Appointment or not, don't keep telling someone "5 more minutes" to keep me in my chair... If you tell me something happened, and are honest about how long it's going to be before you can get to me, I'll come back and KEEP coming back. But you keep lying, just to get my dollar today, with no regard for my time, I won't come back next time. I could've been the best pedi I ever received (it wasn't), and I still wouldn't come back. Any bad reviews on here are from people clearly looking for a reason to bitch, don't tip or have never worked in the service industry. I have been going here for two years and have never had a bad experience. If something is wrong, it is immediately fixed to my satisfaction. So I went here with a broken arm and was hoping they'd work with me so I could get a fresh full set. I had a cast up to mid knuckle and couldn't rotate my arm at all. Not only was my nail tech, Tai, super patient and accommodating but he did an amazing job on my nails. I've been getting acrylics for over ten years nonstop and have been traveling for five, so it's hard to find a great nail tech. Tai takes the cake. He was super sweet, listened to what I wanted, and did them quickly and efficiently! I was so grateful! I will be back here whenever I'm in town! Read Less

Best salon in town. Best prices and service. They really go the extra mile. For example giving massages with your manicure. You can also have a complimentary margarita while you relax. I used to only go to red nails until this placed opened a couple years ago. Love the owners at red nails but too many chances of getting someone that would mess your nails up. While everyone at Hollywood has been leggit! I don't have to worry about any crooked nails. Lol I go monthly for pedicures with design. And from acrylic to gel nails and now I do dip nails. I've been here so far 3x. Each time I had zero wait. For example, on Wednesday morning where most places under staff, they do not. The prices are average and the shop is large, very clean, and relaxing. All of the workers are nice, and they seem to all have fun working with each other. They offer a beverage while your here, and sometimes chocolate . They will attempt an up-sale, however they are not pushy about it. I enjoy this one so far out of the other 5 I've tried in this town. Great for pedicures, but they have a tech that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. He kept commenting on my skin and how soft it was etc, it was really creepy! My nails ended up way too long, and very uncomfortable. They do not really know how to do anything other than square tips. Read Less
