Been getting acrylics done here for about a year straight. Super nice staff, but sometimes nails can be a bit crooked and with a few hot spots where the nail was filed down too far. Called ahead for availability for two people mani/pedi and have been sitting in a pedi care for 15 minutes now, no water, no service of any kind. The employee that lead us back to the seats snipped at us rasing his voice and rudly told us to go sit, and now completely informing me the rest of the staff following suit. What a disappointment!!!! So the first time my sister took me here I loved my nails and was pleased with their services. Well the 2nd time I went they were being rude and getting very impatient and upset with me because I didn't know what color I wanted. AFTER finding my color the person who was going to do my nails decided to go ahead and do someone rules nails which was fine but the person who they asked to do my nails said I couldn't get fake nail with gel then he called over someone else and she tried to explain to him to do my nails and he said he didn't do fake nail just dip with natural nails she started fussing at him and he asked me to ask someone else to do them and I said why can't you ask you work here. Finally I said nevermind. So today went on my lunch break and schduled an appointment for 5 with Amy and she was like yes I will do them. Get there and told them I had an appointment with Amy and after waiting for 10mins they said Amy went home early because she was sick. I asked if someone else can do them and they said I had to wait half an hour. I'm so done I believe they are racist because I'm a sweet person and don't understand why they are so rude to me but I will never go to them again for racial profiling me. Literally the worst customer service. Went there with 3 friends and each of our nails came out horrible. Went in with almond shaped nails to get a fill ... he asked if i wanted it shorter, i said yes... he files them almost all the way down and then completely changed the shape of my nail. Unfortunately the worst gel manicure I have ever received. I've had 4 nails' polish lose their adherence to my fingernails in less than a weeks time. I've already gone back twice to have those redone and would now need to go back a 3rd... Truly poor service. Thought I would try a new salon, but I would NOT recommend going to Zizi's, ever. The absolute worst mani/pedi ever! Do not go here!!! The wine they served me was hot! They rushed through both of my services! And the young boy and girl blabbed their mouths the ENTIRE time of my service. So annoying! On top of that, they did nothing to rectify the issue after I complained. I paid for deluxe service's and received half ass rushed service. They then proceeded to try and tell me that I was trying to get something for free after I had just paid $120. Everyone is friendly and I'm always greeted when I walk in. This is my nail spot. Only thing I don't like is the price of kids pedicures. They charge the same as an adult pedicure. They should be a flat $20. Of course $5 more designs but any more is just too much for a kids pedicure. So I don't take my daughter here. We do mommy daughter nail trips elsewhere. :) Read Less

Then we finally get to a pedi chair, my friend gets her water and whatever they put in it while I just got half a tub of water. My friend was almost finished before mine got started. Moms should never cry when getting their nails done. While my sister, mom and I while getting or nails done for my upcoming wedding the guy who did my moms nails was very rude, to the point it made her cry. $180 we dropped in this place and to leave with this negative vibe the week of my wedding really pisses me off. First visited ZiZi and had good service and an overall good experience. I got dip nails and a few days after I broke one badly, totally my own fault. ZiZi repaired it for no charge. GREAT service which is usually lacking in Waco. Would recommend! Read Less

The prices are reasonable, the area is nice, and I like the drinks that come with the services. The first time I went, I couldn't have been more pleased. The massage was excellent and the nail job was excellent - it stayed for weeks before chipping and looked great. I came back a second time, had a different nail technician, and a it was a let down from the first time. The massage left much to be desired. The nail color didn't have enough coats and was uneven, it was chipped on multiple toes by the next morning. I will probably come back, but I will pay attention to who I am getting assigned to. I usually go to Nails of America and my gel nails last until I go to get another set. I've waited 3 weeks to go and they are still on. I went here and got a set of gel nails and the guy painted them on so thick. They were too thick at two layers and he wanted to put on a third because the polish wasn't even but I stopped him. I went for a pedicure as a spur of the moment thing. (They accommodate walk in appointments very well). The service was great, I loved that they helped me with color choice since the first one I picked out I didn't end up liking on my toes, and I loved that everything was so clean. So, I went with a friend and we both got a manicure (the woman that did her nails was too rough and sliced her cuticle, making her bleed). I wanted oval shaped acrylics. What I got is very weirdly shaped nails and all different lengths. The man who did my nails didn't talk other than asking what shape I wanted but he wasn't rude, kinda friendly. He was incredibly rough on my cuticles though. And I am a bit peeved that he didn't even cut my nails before starting so I can clearly see my nails under the acrylic. The paint job was shoddy as well. But honesty I'll probably take them off in a few days cause they're kinda ugly. It's actually the first time I had my nails done in years and I guess there was a reason for that because I've never found a place in Waco that offer decent manicures. I got a pedicure and manicure on two separate occasions by two different technicians. I was not happy with either one. The massage included in the pedi was the only good thing. She cut my toe nails so close they hurt the next day and she rounded them! (Ingrown toe nail just waiting to happen)! The nail polish was sloppy and started chipping off in 3 days. The manicure was terrible. He gave my nails such an odd shape even though I asked for oval. It was an overlay manicure that started lifting and chipping within two days! Also there was no "manicure" included! He did nothing to my cuticles. Just soak, wash your hands and then gel overlay...a crappy one at that! Never again. Read Less

I was very disappointed with the service here, which is a shame because they are so close to a few places I frequent.  This would've been a nice place for me to go too but I'll continue going to Oasis in Hewitt.  It's definitely worth the drive.  I walk in and initially ask for an eyebrow wax, pretty simple.  They say it will be 2 minutes; I can clearly see the technician has just started putting acrylic on the a customer's nails.  4minutes later, I ask how much longer and whom, I believe is the manager says just a few minutes.  I let me know I can go tan first and be back in about 10 - 15 minutes, and ask will I be able to get in as in 15 minutes right away.  He says yes.  I got tan, come back and the technician is still doing nails.   I'm told it will be 3 minutes.  I agree and 6 minutes pass. The technician gets up and escorts me to the back room, ASKS ME TO LAY DOWN AND RELAX and lets me know she will be just a few minutes, I say ok and another 3 minutes pass.  While I'm in the room I look at the table they wanted me to lay on.  The sheet itself is covered in other people's plucked hairs and a few stains, in addition she didnt even change the large sheet of butcher paper, you can clearly see someone else's body imprints where they laid previously.  I decide, ITS TIME TO GO and NOW!  1.  If a service is going to take 30 minutes, let the client know.  Dont say its going to be 2 and expect the client should wait any longer than the 2 minutes.  If they gave me an accurate time of when I would be serviced then I would've gone an done a few other things or came back at a different time or even a different day.  Please don't embellish time frames to customers to get hem to make a commitment and stay.  My time is valuable and I don't want to waste it sitting around when the expectation was set of a waiting time of only 2 minutes.2. PLEASE CLEAN the waxing areas after someone uses them.  Change the sheet each time someone lays on them OR get rid of the sheet and just disinfect the table with a cleanser and paper towel and then pull down the butcher paper so the client has a clean and safe place to lay down.  It's just good sanitary practice and show your client you actually care about them.The front entrance looks really nice and clean but when the back areas look the way this did I would not trust any instruments or tools used here.  A clean and safe environment is obviously not their number one priority and when you spend money at any establishment, especially an establishment that is supposed to be relaxing, the last thing you want to think about is if they had enough care to properly sanitize the environment.I will not be going back here. I am highly disappointed, I don't like my nails and I couldn't even tell the lady I hated them because she doesn't speak English, all I did was gel and they are bulky and uneven. This is the place to go in Waco for pedicures! Very clean, well lit and always enough staff for their busy salon! I usually get a $35 pedicure, rose scent or lavender and wild flowers! Includes hot stone massage and a perfect sugar scrub. The staff is always friendly, happy to be there and frequently has return customers. So they lost a star because their shellac manicure will last exactly 10 days before it begins to peel and lift and sometimes the heavier guy will rush through your treatment. Read Less

I love this nail salon. I just went the day before Valentine's Day to get a mani/pedi. I got the Milk and Honey pedi for $45 and it was the best pedicure I've ever had. The nail tech was so nice and was very attentive to the water temperature and if I needed anything. I got a fill in and polish change on my nails and she did an amazing job. I am new to the area and went to Nail Seasons before Zizi; big mistake. I won't go anywhere else to have my nails done. This place is wonderful. I went to zizi spa for my third time, the first few experiences are ok, once they offered me wine during my pedicure which was nice.  Today I got a shellac manicure. I was in and out in 25 Minutes, that included picking a color! He rushed me through picking a color and kept taking the color cards away from me. It was the most rushed, unrelaxing, harsh manicure I have EVER had. The man doing my nails was rude and not even slightly gentle or concerned with providing a nice experience.    I will NEVER return to zizi spa again, and would not recommend it to anyone. Best nail place in Waco! Seriously. Been a Baylor student for the last three years and every place in Waco has disappointed. I am now a loyal zizi customer. They put four coats of shellac on my nails! Both the pedicure and manicure looked great. All of my friends love this place now too. They also have the best shellac selection I've seen, so many colors! And it's cheap. $55 for shellac and pedicure. Read Less
