Angie was amazing with my hair she knew I was afraid to go short and she helped me compromise on a length I was comfortable with . Since cutting my hair it has never felt better! The owner was also there when I went by and he was super nice and welcoming even called me by my first name and took pictures of my hair from the back so I can see. This is my kind of place . The cleanest most friendliest staff at a salonthat I've ever been too. I can in here with a lot of pain I suffer from a herniated disc and got massaged by Missy mind you I had been hurting since last week it started acting up after she massaged she was very careful with the parts on my back that were sensitive to pressure I left feeling no pain she is amazing with her hands. We got treated to mimosas and fruit cracker cheese plate to snack on. Then I got my hair done and Monica took the time to get me to the color I wanted to be at. She was very professional they use good products my hair was silly soft even after bleaching my ends to lighten it to get the color I wanted. No breakage or dryness in my hair. I was in The Woodlands for the weekend.  My mom and I really wanted a mani/pedi and our hotel recommended Marilyn Monroe Spa.  It was literally a three minute walk to get there and we were greeted at the door with big smiles.  Not only were we able to get our mani/pedi (with complimentary mimosas) but they also offered hair services so we decided to get haircuts/color as well.  Now ladies, you understand how hard it is to find someone who does your hair just right.  I just had a horrible experience in New Orleans a few months earlier and my hair was a nightmare.  My mother got her hair done first and the results encouraged me to give it a try.  I have to say Angie is a miracle worker!! I cannot describe how amazing she is.  Her personality is so warm and down to earth but her skills are even better!  We literally spent the ENTIRE day being spoiled and pampered. My only regret is that we don't live close enough to have a membership and see Angie and the girls more regularly.  It's safe to say that I'll be making more trips to TX. Read Less

Today I decided to try out the new Marilyn Monroe Spa here in the Woodlands.  While the facility was nice and the equipment was new, the microdermabrasion I had left my face looking terrible with red blotches on both cheeks, with very much damage on the cheekbones. I've been icing my face and applying Arnica gel since I got home.  The young technician, Miranda, clearly did not have the experience with the procedure, at least with the machine she used on my face.  Neither Miranda nor spa management acknowledged the damage on my face until I saw it for myself in their bathroom mirror and I expressed my dissatisfaction. When I did say that I was very unhappy with the results there was a pointed lack of concern. The spa not only expected to be paid in full for the poor job but actually asked if I wanted to also buy products.  No apology, no suggestions for minimizing the recovery time from the botched job. It's hard to believe this is acceptable results for them. I strongly recommend to avoid this spa until the help gets more training on the equipment that they use. Read Less
