This is my second visit and I will return. I would have gave 5 stars if my pedicure tech would have walked me over to the nail dry area and turned it on. A little customer service goes a long way. Other than that Danny did a great job with my pedicure. The ambiance is beautiful, relaxing music, and no over powering acrylic nail smell. Don't go here if you want mommy/daughter pampering. They would rather work on people paying more for their services than bother with an $18 child's service. We had 4 appointments booked in advanced including one child. All of the adults started our services and my daughter sat there the entire time with no one working on her. They set her up with pillows and ran her water then left her. I asked multiple times when someone would be over for her, because my service was almost done and I wanted to enjoy our experience together side by side. The floor manager said he was looking and I watched him walk to the front and stand at the counter. He gave me some half-ass "we apologize for that" as I was paying. I told him I didn't want to hear it, he can save his "sorry's" for the next lady that will listen. My favorite nail salon in spring. I've been here at least 20 times and have only been underwhelmed twice. It really all depends on who does your nails but I'd say they have most of their staff do a really great job. I like that it's clean and organized. Never have to worry about getting a fungus or infection here. If you can, get a pedicure by Vincent. I've never had to remember a tech's name until I had him! I've been coming to Sky Nails Salon since they opened years ago and have seen the owner transition from Steve. I use to LOVE coming here but this last time was it. I didn't even get to actually enjoy my shellac manicure because it was so rushed. One lady did my cuticles and filing and then another did the painting. I didn't get lotion rubbed or the mini hand massage they usually give. They didn't have the original colors I wanted (this is the second time this has happened) and then she wanted/was doing my nails while I was trying to find a color which was hard to do since I was using one hand. The paint job was subpar compared to what I've had before; one nail has way more glitter than the other. They weren't even busy so I don't understand the rush. But I'm definitely done with this place & truly wish I didn't waste my money here as I was looking forward to treating myself and getting to relax/enjoy myself. Read Less

Let me start off by saying that I felt SO unwelcomed here. The only person who was kind was the guy at check in. The man who did my nails was complaining the WHOLE time he was doing my nails because they were "too long".  My nails were in fact long but they were not ridiculously long. In any case, when I enter a nail salon I expect to get what I ask (within reason of course). I definitely got it, but the fact that I had to sit there watching him whine after each nail and continue telling me they are too big... that's annoying. If you don't want to do long nails maybe post a sign saying you don't. Or at least don't make your customer feel like they are such a burden! Also by the second day 4 of the nails were cracked. I've tried other salons and I just keep coming back. I truly feel pampered and glammed out after a trip here, and I keep coming back for more. I've been super impressed by every manicure I've gotten here, and that's the main reason I go. My first time getting a pedicure here, the nail polish fell off in sheets after a bath at home, but I haven't had that problem since that one time. After an eyebrow wax and a lip wax, I broke out badly, BUT I don't blame that on them, it's probably me lol. I'll keep coming back, and the people there are super sweet! Stopped by here as a walk in after looking through reviews on yelp. Definitely would come back! I was seated quickly. My tech was Ivy and she did exactly what I asked for. I especially loved how soo soooo patient she was with me in finding the right shade of pink that I wanted for a wedding that I'm a bridesmaid in (to match the bride's color palette). We went through about 5 different shades before finding the right one. It was absolutely perfect! When I walked out I did notice one of my nails was a little crooked so I went back in, asked her to fix it, and she did no questions asked. I appreciate it when no attitude is given. I have been going here for a few years after trying nail spa after nail spa and I have always left happy with the experience. I only had one issue with the way my nails were done last year, but the manager fixed it the problem herself. I love the new chairs and new look except for how bright it is in the big area. Came here on a Friday morning around 9:30 and thought they would be empty... but I was wrong. This place was 80% packed and people were still coming in. I was immediately greeted and was taken straight to my seat. The guy who helped me, Kevin (?), was very nice and patient. He did a great job on my nails and the was very pleasant. The scenery is also very nice. Some what fancy. You feel like you're in a place of relaxation. When I left, I noticed that my nail polish had smudged a few hours later. I went back and they took me in immediately- no questions asked. Now this is what you call excellent customer service! One thing I noticed is that they did give their customers water bottles, champagne, etc. I however was not offered any of that- but it's ok; maybe next time! This salon has a HUGE selection of nail polishes, gel and regular. Tons of colored powders, chromes, holographic, glitters, bling. You name it, I'm sure they have it. If you find a photo online, I'm certain that they can recreate it for you. I have been coming to Sky Nail Salon since the beginning of 2017. I started off with just pedicures and have had great experiences every time. I was always offered a drink which is nice. I don't have any specific person to do my toes, but everyone I have experienced has done a good job. I have recently started getting my nails done here. I moved to the spring/woodlands area, and I was nervous to switch from my trusted nail lady, but along came Julie. Julie is great at what she does. She is very kind, funny, and pays attention to detail. Today I came in to see her for the third time. I asked for a French ombre with a glitter accent. I AM OBSESSED. I have only been getting my nails done with Elaine! She's had her own business for several years prior to coming here. I've gone to other places in the Woodlands, but found out Elaine works here! For now, she's the only person I would go see! She does exceptional, detailed, professional work! You can trust her suggestions! She works Wednesday-Saturday 9-7pm! Book with her! You won't be disappointed!Love the prices too! I came in for a signature pedicure $25 and manicure! A lot of nail spas are making it fancy, by offering fancy massage chairs with complimentary drinks. It's not your typical hole in the wall nail shop! This place is rather spacious with about 20 staff. It is best to request a person you know to get give you service. Today was my first time Sky Nail Salon and I will definitely be a regular from now on. [Sky Nail Salon] is beautiful inside and very clean; the tools are sanitized in bags as well. My entire experience there today was so relaxing. My tech was the young lady and I am so glad I got her, she's gentle and precise, and super sweet. My shellac manicure and deluxe pedicure is perfect, and note. Her massages feel great, I fell asleep in the chair! My nails turn yellow within three days. Last step is to spray your nails with alcohol and then file the them. She rubbed nail polish remover all over my nails. I just moved Spring, and thought Sky Nail Salon was going to be my go "happy nail salon"!!! After trying two other salons but it's not great until I moved Spring, I finally found my spot. Treated a friend to her birthday Pedicure and I got a mani/pedi. Technician seemed rushed, over scraped my calluses and now my foot is sore. Manicure is horrible. I had rough edges left and had to come home and file myself. Paint job is even worse. Asked for a eyebrow wax and had to pluck myself. Spend $118 for two individuals and just keep finding problems. Deserves zero stars! Unless you are a regular customer and know your nail person, do not come here! I decided to try out this place for the great reviews and boy did I make a mistake!I sat down with a young lady to start working on my pedicure.... halfway through my pedi service, they switched the young lady to someone who requested her that walked in. A younger man then came to finish working on my toes. He some how didn't know that polish needs more than one coat and a top coat before it's done??After reminding him, and urging him to get some lingering polish off of my skin, I was seated with an older man to perform my shellac mani.First, he shaped my nails to round after requesting square. Second, after he reshaped my nails... they were no longer existing to the length I had grown them out. Finally, again polish was left on my skin.I just have this huge hunch that I will be back in there tomorrow for them to redo everything. After all they will probably chip off in a hour.Not to mention tomorrow is a big day for me and having a nice mani/pedi would have just made it better :'( Read Less

I dont even know where to start. But let me first say, this was my first time ever visiting Sky Nail Salon. I decided to try this place out because it had so many good reviews. And now i know why! This place was excellent. My nail girl was the sweetest girl. Her name was KIM. I have NEVER had as good of an experience as i did with her. She was so kind and gentle and did my nails to perfection. Literally. She took her time and make them so beautiful and perfect. It was such a good and relaxing time i almost fell asleep lol :-) i will definitely be back many more times in the future. ever since this place got new management it has been downhill. i used to go every two weeks and see nick who did an AMAZING job. i have only been twice since new management stepped in. the first time, i wanted a pink shellac manicure & i got Tina. Tina was very rushed and sloppy. she didn't say a single word to me while i was in the chair and did poor work. you could see through parts of the polish and it was very cloudy. the polish was super think in some places and very thin in others. when she was done, rather than wiping the fell off with a cotton ball, she used a piece of toilet paper leaving pieces of wet toilet paper all over my fingers and then looking up at me and saying "you're done" and walking away. when i called the manager she told me to come back and she would replace it for no charge. she took a good 2 hours to do a color change and it STILL looked awful. yesterday, i went to get a shellac manicure and was charged $55. the color i picked out was sky blue and the lady told me that once it's on she can't take it off when i asked if she could test it on one nail. so whatever, i let her do the blue and i hoped for the best. when she was done, the color was sea foam green. not the color i picked out. i left because i was already late and couldn't wait for the color change. today, i went in to have a color change and they charged me $20 even though the color she put on my nails was not the color i picked out. somehow that was my fault. i will NEVER be returning to this salon and i will NEVER recommend this salon. I really love this nail salon! The inside is huge and they have semi-private pedicure rooms for parties and groups. I've had about 5 different nail techs who are all very good but my favorite is Rosie! She does both mine and my sisters nails. I am so impressed! I have tried 6 or 7 salons from humble to the woodlands and all in between since moving to this area trying to find my nail salon home & I think I've finally found it! Super great reviews on Yelp led me here! 1st of all.. My pedicure alone probably lasted 45 minutes at the least. Not 100% sure on that because I don't know exactly when I got there but I was so impressed with the amount of time she spent with me! I did the deluxe pedicure because it was my first time coming & everywhere else I've been charged $35 for a regular pedicure and they spend 10-15 minutes on you! Not this place! Haly did my pedicure and she did an amazing job! I could tell from the moment I walked in that they cared about my experience. As soon as I sat down she offered me something to drink. I noticed that she used sterile tools to work on my nails which is super important to me so seeing her open the package right there in front of me was great! I also love the heated neck wrap that comes with the pedicure. I've never seen that at any other salon I've ever been to! I was super pleased with the pedicure & the prices! I have a really bad habit of biting my nails so I am always super concerned when I get my nails done that I will be judged by my tech. I keep my nails done but have a really bad habit. Anyways, Tiger did my nails and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. He went the extra mile to make sure my nail color was the exact color I wanted. He talked to me the whole time and we had great conversation. I could tell that he was being very detail oriented while doing my nails... Doing things like comparing my left and right fingers. He took his time to make sure that they looked gorgeous. I don't ever think I've had a prettier set of nails! I got a full set pink and gold ombré & a deluxe pedicure for $85 and then my tip. They like cash tips but will let you do it with a card. Overall, super impressed. So impressed I forgot to asked to get my eyebrows done! Lol. Next time! I really just love how they're not in a hurry to get you out of there. They take their time on you and really want you to have an experience and not just a product. I absolutely hate when salons do my nails when they do my toes. I feel like I can't enjoy my pedicure while someone is yanking on my hands over my lap. Went in for a quick mani and was not pleased with the service I received. I felt it was rushed and polish was not applied properly. A little overpriced for a regular non-gel manicure from other salons I've been to. When I asked the nail tech to fix the polish on some of my nails, he just applied more polish in the wrong spots.
