I love this place. I've been to many places where if you get the wrong tech, the nails are sloppy. That only happened to me once here, but he was new and didn't last long and is no longer there. They were also very quick and happy to redo them. Everyone here pretty much does a good job, though I have my favorites. Third time here and I keep coming back.  When it comes to hair,  Make up, and nails its always a struggle to find someone who really knows what they are doing.  Don has done great work on my nails. I enjoy coming here.  It's peaceful, clean,  and everyone there seems nice. Finding a good nail salon is extremely difficult, so when you find one, you gotta hold on! Queen Nails Spa is that place for me! I've been to several nail shops in Houston and generally, have not had a good experience. So I took it to yelp. Via Yelp, I was able to find Queen Nails. Thanks to my fellow yelpers! I got a gel manicure. Nick & Don were both excellent! Friendly, attentive, and professional. I was told that the gel polish should last at least 2 weeks. They even have a 14 day guarantee - basically, if your polish becomes chipped or dull, they will fix it for you...free of charge. I was skeptical that my polish would last this long, but I was wrong! Don did an amazing job on my nails! They has a large selection of colors, which are mostly OPI. The color I got is from OPI's new collection. Don did the cat-eye on my nails which is something that I have never had, and I absolutely love it!!! Also, can't go wrong for the pedicure with scrub, hot wax, mask . Finally found my go to nail salon!After a disappointing experience with a different nail salon, I went to Queen Nails Spa. I should have gone to Queen Nails first but as it did not appear on google maps (would be useful if it did) I had resorted to the previous salon, from which I had a good experience but the gel nail did not last more than three days. First thing that is very convenient about them is that they're open on Sundays! My nails could not last any longer and I called first thing in the morning and made an appointment with Queen Nails. I walked in and within minutes I was seated with a technician (not sure what her name was). She was quiet for the most part but very quick and good with the nails. She even helped me pick out a color which I was very satisfied with. What was surprising was with only two coats, it looked like I had five! When I told her that the other place put on four coats and it seemed still too thin, she was very surprised. She then told me Queen Nails gives two week guarantee, and as it has been a week and a half, I am not disappointed at all. The usual edges are starting to peel, but it looks like I can last another two weeks. My nails still look good! I found out Don does free hand designs.
